I rescued a Persian cat about three years ago. She had all the problems a Persian cat can have...bad fur, dry fur, she didn't have any appetite, had ear problems...about £400.00 worth of vet treatment and surgeries for ear and eye problems and she still didn't seem right. But thanks to a wonderful friend who is a top Persian Cat breeder, Gail Miller of Morninglory Persians, I put her on Royal Canin Persian 30 dry mix.What a turn around! She loves it...I mean she REALLY loves it. My sister & I are exceptionally fussy Persians, particularly as my sister, Momo, gets the squits really quite easily (seriously, those Gourmet Mon Petit pouches, we love them - probably because of the amount of sugar added, but she can poop through the eye of a needle after a couple of days of those).We like this stuff though. It keeps our poop regular and normal looking, and doesn't have any crazy additives that make us go bonkers.The little meaty nuggets are shaped so we can actually get our chops around them with little trouble (thanks for the inbreeding), and we always rush to our bowl when out servant grabs the packet from the cupboard.It's nice that the servant doesn't have to spend a ridiculous amount on buying our food as she found it cheaper on this website,

My cat had really bad breath, we could smell it even when he was on the floor grooming himself - he would literally clear the room. Vet said nothing wrong with him! I was despairing, then came across the reviews for this, thank goodness. Within a very short time, certainly within a few days, we could no longer smell his breath. Both cats love it and always eat every single last bit, even the small bits that have broken off that they used to leave. I also give them a couple of wet pouches every day, for extra liquid in their diet. Would recommend this 100%. They don’t seem to eat as much of this dry food as they did before when they were on Iams.

All my cats both present and past love this and it does prevent their teeth developing tartar. However, I just give my present cat half a pouch of Felix and in a separate dish a handful of Royal Canin Oral Care plus a separate dish of water (imperative as if they do not drink enough water when eating dried food they can develop kidney disease) I feed my cat Rosie first thing in the morning and repeat the same regime about teatime at 5-6pm. On this feeding regime she keeps a stable weight. She also has boiled cod or coley as a treat and occassionally a saucer of milk and/or a cat treat - the stick sort.

I've purchased these for a long time for my Persian, but her tray habits have changed. recently and we've been scratching our head! Used to be solid no issue. Now very soft odd small specks of blood. I've noticed the biscuits didn't look as dark as they used to and different packaging. Found a review elsewhere which said they contacted royal canine 5/17 and 2 ingredients have been changed, didn't agree with her cat either. I stress this isn't this sellers issue its royal canine. But I can't buy now as don't agree with my cat, so frustrating! stars reflect SELLER ONLY Thank you

I have been using Royal Canin for many years. The breeder that sold us our Persian was highly recommending it. My Persian loves it and is in great condition. We never had problems with hairballs either. In addition to our Persian We now have two Bengals who keep eating it as well so it must be good food. The price is fantastic. I use to pay nearly £20 for 2 kg bag in Petsathome but now I only buy 10kg bag from Amazon. It saves us lots of money and the food stay fresh even thought we not always close the bag properly.

Bought this cos my boy has horrendous breath which I presumed was due to plaque and this has pretty much solved the problem. His teeth look much whiter and cleaner too. He's been fed a soft food diet for years, I was concerned he wouldn't swap easily to this dry food because Ive tried him on dry before and he's turned his nose up. This is the 3rd bag of 3.5kg I've bought and he still loves this stuff. This is the cheapest I could find it too, worth waiting a few days for delivery

my cat won't eat any other dry food (even if left in the bowl for 2 days and no other food available) so I don't have an option. in the upper best side of the dry cat food market in terms of the contents and brand recognition. have tried to swap for niche highest quality brand but again cat will not eat it. I am happy with the brand and my cat who has been fed this exclusively for the past 8 years is healthy. also arrives very fast and cheaper on amazon than in most pet shops.

I have always enjoyed my Royal Canine Persian food. It smells and tastes good, fits in my mouth, easy to bite and swallow and is okay with my stomach. That is why I always pester my human brother to buy me this brand of food. However, this time this particular packet of Royal Canine smells different and looks too greasy. I'm health conscious and this looks like a hell of calories. Even though it tastes good I'm not okay with it. I don't want to be called a fat cat.

My cats love this food - two domestic short hairs and a maine coon. The kibble size is quite large but it's great because it slows them down a little and really does work their teeth. It smells appealing and they all look forward to a bowl of this stuff. At first I used it occasionally as I was concerned it would be too much hard work for them, but now I just free feed it like any other food and they are all happy, plump and have gorgeous coats of fur.

My cats love this food and it has done the job of reversing plaque build-up on my male cats teeth. Expensive dental treatment at the vets now not needed! The price for both the 1.5 and 3kgs is very very good but I was disappointed to see today that there is a 1-2 month lead time on the 3kg so I have only been able to order the 1.5 kg bag. Hopefully the 3kg stock will be replenished soon! Delivery by Amazon was spot on as usual.

I am a bit confused now after reading some reviews and questions. My cat LOVES this and this is her main food, which she eats from an automatic feeder. She also has two sachets of meat daily. It seems some owners are just feeding this as treats. My cat seems to be growing nicely, her coat is lush and seems to be a very happy, healthy and contented cat, just over a year old now. Should this be her main diet or just treats?

I have bought this product from my local pet shop however will purchase again on here due to lower price. My cats weren't too thrilled with this product to start off with however they have come round now. My cat had a really bad breath however after 3 weeks of using this product I haven't noticed any improvement. Will however keep buying this as it is much better that cheaper brands like go cat or whiskas.

I have two very happy cats since switching their food to Royal Canin. I was looking for something to protect their teeth & gums as one of my cats got a bad case of gingivitis under her teeth. Antibiotics etc didn't work, so she had to lose 7 teeth in order to treat it. I am hoping this food will help protect both of them from anything like this in the future, I'll be buying the bigger bags next time

I've never understood why Royal Canin make it so difficult to buy the different varieties. This is the dental care one.Seems effective enough.I can vouch for the sharpness, strength and length of my cat's teeth as am currently taking antibiotics and inflammatories for a rather determined chew on my ankle.Given the limp factor am glad I can have this delivered to the door.
