I started buying Royal Canin after my vet kindly gave me some of the Sensitivity Control wet food when one of my cats had a spectacularly upset tummy (a trying time for all of us, which resulted in me having to throw out my slippers). The cats clearly enjoyed it much more than the well-known brand of wet food I'd been feeding them and it sorted out the dodgy tummy a treat. I can't remember why I switched them onto dry food. It may have been because someone told me that it's good for their teeth (all the better to bite me with) or it may have been because it's more economical than the RC wet food. I started them off on Kitten 36 as they were under 12 months at the time, but now they're adults I buy Outdoor 30,which seems to suit their needs - though the range of Royal Canin varieties available is bewildering. They certainly enjoy the Outdoor 30. I've been feeding it to them for nearly a year, and they're still always excited when they hear it rattling into their bowls. When I started feeding my cats dry food exclusively, I was initially worried that they might not be impressed, but they hoovered it right up. Since I've started feeding them RC food, their coats look shinier, they are better-behaved (inasmuch as they're not as bad for trying to mooch food off people) and when they use the litter tray it no longer smells like they've had a heavy night out on the tiles. The 10kg bag is good value and saves money. The only slightly annoying thing is that, unlike the 4kg bag, it's not resealable. The food needs to be kept in a sealed container, or it dries out. Being such a big bag, it's quite unwieldy anyway, so I would recommend decanting a couple of kilos into a smaller resealable bag or container for everyday use and then resealing the big bag with tape until it's time to refill the everyday container. This keeps it fresh. This food is well worth the money and I wouldn't go back to non-premium cat food.

My cat has been having this a month now from recommendation from a vet nurse. My cat is approx. 18 month old rescue. had her since last Feb. Her coat has improved feeding her this food and brushing her regularly, to her disgust may I add! Before i was feeding her felix wet food, 2 pouches a day and go cat biscuits. Its shocking when you read into it though how much junk is actually in these foods! I measured out what you should from the feeding guide and it doesn't seem much for a cat her weight. I have given her a tad bit more and was just told if she puts weight on, to reduce the portion size! She's an outdoor very active cat and so far no weight gain. she always finishes her food off by the time her next dinner is due!She drinks more eating this food, which it is advised to put the cats water away from their food bowl as they don't like it. I was worried about her drinking as she didn't drink much prior but changing her diet and location of bowls have definitely done the trick. Those put off by the price, it probably works out the same as what you'd spend on 'normal' food for them.

This is my moggies most favourite out of all the Royal Canin they've tried, they go mad for it - trouble is, I think every cat must think the same thing as it's the most difficult to get hold of and the most expensive; I'd like to buy them a big bag so if Amazon is watching, please put one on special :-) They eat every last biscuit and the crumbs and they're fussy mogs who turn their noses up at perfectly good food. They're also seniors and live indoors/outdoors in equal parts... I got them some of the 7+ R/C but they preferred the 30 dry mix ... I'd recommend it for cats of any age. Have to give Amazon 5 stars too for the very fast delivery, and, contrary to some reports I've read,Yodel actually got their act together too so they get 5 stars as well.

I'm a first time cat-owner but have a family of cat lovers who give lots of advice, and they have always fed their cats on an almost entirely wet food diet, however I had been recommend by my cattery to try Royal Canin dry food and my cat absolutely loves it. Despite offering Whiskas or Sheba my cat actively chooses to eat his dry first. The health benefits vs wet food are a real positive point and compared with the cost of wet food, Royal Canin is extremely good value. I find it convenient to buy a 10kg bag as my cat only eats 60g per day (+ 1 wet pouch), so although a bigger upfront cost this food lasts a long time. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this product for your cat.

My two cats love this food. They will eat any of the Royal Canin foods but they love the freedom of being outdoors and spend many hours outside so I thought I would try them on this type of food specially formulated for cats who spend their time mainly outside. They come home hungry and my big Tom cat, who can eat lots is satisfied with the prescribed amount, whereas his little sister will eat less but is still well fed and they both sleep soundly after feeding. Their coats are healthy and they both seem fit and well on this formula which makes for a happy cat mum.

The cats are really addicted to all dry Royal Canin food and would gladly eat it all day. Sadly it's way too expensive for that so during the day they get Go-cat and Whiskers but I buy a bag of the cheapest Royal Canin to give them as a special treat at bedtime - it lasts longer that way! This pack was about the most affordable per kg, especially compared to the price of regular small bags of cat treats which I used to buy (they work out about £12-£15 a kilo!)

I was looking for a high calorie food that would also boost my cats immune systems and this does it all. They were eating the same amount of fit cat food and finishing the bag too quickly, always seeming hungry. After worming, it didn't change. So i found this and they are both in top health and much more satisfied for longer. They have beautiful shiny coats and clean strng teeth. Using royal canin food has definitely aided this.

My old girls seem to like it. In fact, the more doddery of the two had her head in the bowl for ages! They do tend to get bored with the same old feed week in week out (wouldn't you?). So I have to switch it around and mix things up for them. However, that said, knowing I am giving them a healthy option gives me a tremendous sense of wellbeing that lasts all day!

I have tried a few different brands with my cats and Royal Canin is by far their favourite. They absolutely love it. I also noticed their coats were much softer when they starting eating it. As mine both go outdoors I will be sticking with this one and have put it on my subscribe and save, as I won't be feeding them any other brand!

Great food for our 2 cats, one a British shorthair, the other a Bengal cross - they both thrive on thus stuff and although a bit pricey compared to some supermarket brands it lasts for ages and they are both in tip top condition. I wouldn't recommend anything else. This 10kg bag will last both of them for over 3 months.

My cats love this and I love the price as its much much lower than buying it from a shop. Make sure you get free delivery though as that could eat up any saving. I also buy Fit 32 but the cats like to alternate between the two. I think my cats would recommend this!

This is an excellent range of cat food for my Bengals. Other dry food products have made them sick. Packaging is resealable. Good size that is easy to lift. I buy this on Subscribe and Save (once a month and feed it to 2 cats once a day) - that way i never run out!

I feed a number of mainly 'outdoor' cats and Royal Canin Outdoor 30 wins hands down when compared with other cheaper brands which I've tried in the past. The only downside is that this brand is so popular that I have to keep buying replacement bags more often!

Excellent. Always eaten and enjoyed. IWas by my new cat's last owner and will not use wet food or anything else. Works out as cheap as cheap food and appears to be far superior, as regards obvious health. And it contains Taurine, just like Red Bull!

My cats love these cat biscuits. They are on a double box to prevent damage in transit. The bag these Royal Canine Outdoor Cat Biscuits are packed in is airtight until opened. So they are ultra fresh and tasty for the cats. Excellent all around.
