Bought this little beauty after a bad experience with a cheaply made pipe cutter on here which was returned and not fit for purpose. The difference is night and day. My main want from this is to be able to cut pvc pipe and it does this brilliantly. It leaves a good clean straight cut and cuts the pipe with minimum squeeze of the pipe thanks to its sharp blade. The manufacture of this item is well thought out, great locking mechanism at the rear of the handles which is very secure, the hitch to release the blade is solid, blade is sharp and sturdy, cutting action is smooth with stable hold of the pipe and overall it's just comfortable and a pleasure to use.

Bueno soy electricista y nosotros trabajamos con tuberias pvc sch 40 y habia una tijera muy buena como la super ego y esta cuchilla rothenberger es la misma calidad de cuchilla y echa en españa tambien yo la recomiendo al maximo para tuberias pvc sch 40

Excellent product. Had asked in the forum whether it could cut 1inch furniture grade PVC. Received some very useful feedback from other buyers before purchasing. Did not disappoint. I can confirm PVCs cut as suggested. Very clean and straight cut.

cutter works fine just 1 point for me on larger size pipe, the bottom of the jaw isn't quite long enough in the curve when first starting the cut to hold it securely sometimes the pipe gets pushed out.

This is expensive - But it makes what can be an awkward and difficult job very, very easy. It just works well. It is easy to use, well made and comfortably sturdy. It should last years.

Pipe cutters are strong and sharp, the ratchet mechanism feels sturdy and they have been ideal for cutting 16mm OD PETG tube inside my tower case when measuring the run is difficult.

Generally works well, but if cutting a short piece of the end of 40mm pipe squashes the pipe. You really need to insert something into the end of the pipe to stop it squashing.

Would buy again.Yes, they do slightly crush some pipe as you apply pressure, but only if you cut too quickly and without regard. Pipe soon springs back into shape anyway.

Swift delivery. No more hacksaw dust and wonky and burred ends! Can be tricky on 40mm in tight spots. Almost worth all the money. Cost is only reason I give them 4 star.

I love these, I use mine most days being on site. The blade is razor sharp. I use mine on waste pipe up to 1”1/2. So handy to have, worth every penny in my eyes.

Expensive compared to alternative products, but performs fantastically again and again. I keep great faith in the quality and precision of the cuts.

They cut very cleanly and the ratchet system works well. However mine often doesn't release the blade fully after cutting, may just be mine!

This Rothenberger rocut is a quality piece of kit, I've not used it that much as of yet but it seems very well made and cuts like butter.

A quality tool well made and robust. Cuts pipe first time and straight unlike cheaper products. Well worth the extra cost.

Best cutter I used. Super staraight cuts and very sturdy. Well worth the money. Paid for itself after one job
