I repair pumps that are torqued to 1,100 foot pounds. In the past 4 years my company has purchased many other brands of wrenches. Every one of them slips or the teeth tear off with this extreme level of torque. That would be all brands except Ridgid. These cost a little more initially, but I have never had to throw one out. This truly is an example of "you get what you pay for".

Great pipe wrench, due to its length I would not want to use this on much more than 1.5", but you can open the jaws to accommodate most hex fitting on 2" at a REAL push, although you'll struggle to put on enough force. Really lightweight, but strong. Teeth are hard and sharp. and no chips so far (used this on 316 stainless and cast iron)

Quality ridgid tool, loved it first day on the job really nice addition to the tool bag. Just bought a 2nd wrench. Super fast shipping if you're a prime member, order at 9 or 10 am was delivered by 10am next day. Have 2 ridgid quality is un comparable highly recommend sellar still

Great piece of kit. Had to remove a load of old cast iron gas pipes in my basement, gave myself the afternoon to do it but this tool let me finish the job in 30 minutes! Gripped the pipes perfectly, good yank anti-clockwise and they all unscrewed one by one with no slipping.

Brilliant the weight difference when your doing overhead work is very noticeable I haven't had a scaffold pole on them yet like my old ones ( original rigid steel stillys) so can't comment on strength but for 2-3 pipe fitting very impressed .

Ridgid is the Only pipe wrench I will buy. They might cost a little more but you get what you pay for. They bite in very good and do not slip. They also release when you want. Life time warranty and US built. What is not to like

Ridged makes the best pipe wrenches. I like these aluminums. They may not be as strong as steel but I’ve never broke one and they are WAY lighter to carry in your tool box.

Well made and lightweight,i wish i'd bought them years ago. Ridgid stillsons are the best on the market.Would definitely recommend!

Ridgid always outstanding quality.Could have got these cheaper on Ridgid.co.uk found out afterwards.
