The Go229 promised to be a formidable machine, and it was probably a good thing for the Allies that it never flew. The model does it full justice. It goes together nicely, and the end result is very satisfying. However, patience is required, because even with fine instruments, I found it challenging at times. I saw a review where the author described the assembly of the nosewheel gear as "a nightmare" - I quite agree! However, persevere, and you will be well satisfied with the result.

A fantastic representation of a very unusual jet.Learning about this aircraft while building it has been a pleasure. As for the kit itself, the quality of the plastic is great, as one would expect of Revell. The model goes together very well, minor sanding and filling was required for one wing at the root but nothing awful. The internal details are fantastic too - down to the 30mm cannon ammunition visible in the internal magazines.Very pleased with the result.

I've always been fascinated with this aircraft, from the moment I saw it in the game "Medal of Honor: Frontline". It's been around a year since I started the hobby, and thought it was time to look for the Horten Go-229.There are a few delicate parts, so one should be very careful. I didn't experience any fitting issues, everything went together nicely. I went with a different paint scheme--tend to just "wing it" (no pun intended). This is a nice, fun little kit.

I was impressed with this one, but the name on the box is wrong - it's a horton ho 229 or a horton ix v3 - gotha go was never really a name and this seems to mess up on those names.With my model I painted it black, and will be adding US Army decals like this video from 1947 near Roswell, New Mexico...youtube JBnBSJ9bz3A

Item arrivery early, box damaged, not suppliers fault. Item as described, no damages to contents. Not to much flash on sprues, unaware of this item till recommended by Amazon. Delighted with purchase & look forward to making up this unusual kit.
