I'm really pleased with Revell's Aqua Colour Basic. Tired of decanting spray can primers for airbrush use I thought I'd give this a go. With a modicum of thinning with acrylic thinner the primer sprays and settles well to a very fine flat finish so, it has good self levelling properties and is difficult to put on too thick. It is not as robust as solvent based primers because it is water based and doesn't soften plastic models in the same way and it will scratch off in the early stages but this is useful if you do put too much down. It however bonds reasonably well and once you've top coated a model the paints fix pretty well. In fact, if you don't clean it off your brushes and airbrush fairly quickly it is tough to remove!

Great product, this came recommend to me by a friend. Goes on nice, covers well. And great service from supplier.
