I was looking for a cheapish shaver to replace my other shaver and with a trimmer. My other's rechargeable batteries were dying a death. All other makes with trimmers were rather more than I was willing to pay. Thanks to Tony (also 4 stars) I have now found out I must ensure it has some charge otherwise I will go out with hair on my face! And I now see that when the foil and cutters are worn out I must buy another shaver as it appears Remington does not supply these. A pity. Without these two problems I would have given 5 stars. I would recommend this shaver as long as the buyer knew about the drawbacks.

I got this shaver for my teenage son, he has a full beard. The shaver has two foils that give a pretty close shave. There's a handy trimmer that pops out on the back (see pic) which is excellent to keep the beard in trim. It can be used wet or dry and comes with a cleaning brush. There is a mains charger but you will need a 3pin plug adapter if you haven't got a shaver port. For the price this is more than worth it and I would definitely recommend it for all types of skin as it's very gentle.

Remington F3 STYLE series- light at 451 g, nice color,it is a foil type shaver, which means it will allow a closer shave the rotary shavers.It is relatively quiet at 80 dB.Allows up to 40 mins of usage with a charge,and on the box says the battery is a Varta. Battery type is not Li-Ion,so it will take longer to recharge,best to be kept charged.It has a IPX 67 certificate, it is fully washable,so convenient.I would buy it again,best thing about it is the convenience and speed.

To be honest, I rarely shave as I had an accident many years ago that left me with very slow growth but I decided to get this shaver because faffing around with all the accoutrements for wet shaving put me off. I like this shaver because it is simple, it is simple to use and simple to clean and I find I shave at odd times as I do it as I pass it.This is a great shaver to have in your desk should you have an afternoon meeting and want to freshen up before it.

I’ve bought dry Remington shavers for some years now - they last 3 to 4 years on average. Not worth buying new foils when needed - they cost nearly the same as a new shaver. This one is much quieter than the last and the floating foils seem more effective. Getting about a week’s shaving between each 4 hour charge (cuts out when fully charged) Very good product, will definitely buy again next time. Not tried it wet.

Got it for my husband, he is overly happy with it. Handy shaver used mainly while travelling. It's rechargeable, and the battery lasts for a substantial time . Small, easy to hold, and does the job .It comes with a basic instructions, and charger lead, but it has only 2 pin plug. It also has a small cleaning brush. The shaver also features a trimmer, useful if you have for shaping.

This Remington Shaver is great at following the contours of your face, I really like how its lightweight and comfortable to hold in your hand. The handy popup trimmer is very useful to finish off the sides or trimming your beard. The supplied mains lead has a shaver plug. The head is easy to detach for cleaning. All in all a good quality product from a great manufacturer.

For the price it's pretty decent, however I wonder if I could have saved a few quid on the cheaper shavers. It takes some effort to get a close shave and you'll likely need shaving oil like I did, which adds to your expense. Also, it did not come with an adapter, and I was shocked to find that most shavers are like this now!

This is a good value basic shaver that works well. The replacement foil is only a few pounds less - which makes you wonder whether it's actually a loss leader to get you hooked (like printer ink in a cheap printer). Either way, my father-in-law was very pleased with the purchase - and that doesn't happen very often!

Good straight forward foil cutting shaver. Not the fastest, or closest shave, but good value for money. My previous model was louder but cut faster and closer, and decided not to charge up anymore after 5 years of faithful service. I hope this model lasts as long! Good value, and would recommend.

I’ve used lady shavers for a number of years however always found that they didn’t shave close enough and left stubble. This razor I’m delighted to say has left my legs the smoothest they’ve ever been. I’m very impressed with this product and I love the wee pop out trimmer. This is a great buy!

Great shave for good price! Slightly larger shaver which I prefer, comfortable in hand and easy to control while shaving. Really can’t see how anyone can give a 1 star review - just ignore them. Also don’t think £60 + shavers do the job 3 times better but everyone is different!!

This is the first time that I have used an electric shaver and I was impressed by its smoothness. It runs quietly, and guides to the shape of your face. It was easy to clean after use, and I believe it will save me plenty of money versus the blades I have bought in the past.

Easy to use rechargeable shaver with beard trimmer, short charge time, gives a good shave quickly, had all the things I wanted in a shaver. Good shave, rechargeable, beard/sideburn trimmer, short recharge time and from a well known brand at a reasonable price

I have been using a rotary shaver for years but I was disappointed with the last Phillips shaver I had. I am really happy with this Remington shaver though and recommend it to anyone else considering purchasing one as it gives a close shave and is inexpensive.
