We have used Record Power bench tools for over 10 years. They are very reliable machines and built to last.A very simple and functional design made well the good quality materials.The belt supplied is 80grit, which is very course. Not a finishing paper by any stretch.We don’t use anything lower than 240grit typically, but the belts can be purchased almost anywhere. Nice size of 100mm x 915mm

My expectations for a bench sander were delivered to the full when this m/c was delivered to me. It was not long in setting it up, works well as being fairly quiet also.A good heavy robust machine, looking forward to many hours of working with it. The only 'niggle ' is I had to search for the belts dimensions ( 100 x 915 ) as they were not in the write up. As I said a 'niggle' easily remedied.

Some "copies" come with more stylish colours and the setup for adjusting the tilting table is more basic than some, but it works!There is some regular oiling to be done on the rollers, but it works!I've not used it a lot due to failing health, but it has a five year warranty so it will probably outlast me!

This is a great product which I mainly use for modelling. I am able to get accurate results allowing very good surface contact between small components allowing glue only fixing. The disc and belt supplied with the machine were however not of the best quality and far to course.

Slightly underpowered but there’s a steep jump up in price for that. It’s doing a great job.
