This is a nice little piece of kit gives a nice flat surface to work on there's a nice fine adjustment for depth of cuts. It's also quiet not whisper quiet but certainly quieter than your full size router. The only thing I would say about it is the work I wanted it for was just a bit to big for it. I wanted to run the odd guitar head through it (not cutting or heavy shaping) but just slight shaping on edges or making sure I had a 90 degree edge. I made some little picture frames on it with no problem they were pine at about 19 ish MM thick also fiber board as well. If your making modles or (I think)

I'm very pleased with this machine, it's of the usual Proxxon quality and for my modelling work works especially well.The machine is soundly constructed and so far I've experimented with all the tiny router bits that I bought separately. I would advise having a vacuum cleaner hose attached as it can create quite a bit of dust. I use it in several of my hobbies and can save hours of time not doing it by hand. I'm slowly getting the whole range of Proxxon Micro tools, here's to the next!
