I can still remember the memorable hours of playing PES5 with friends...for me this marked an era in football games. I think I had been pretty much playing PES5 until PES2008 came out - which I decided to buy just to be a bit up to date. The experience was horrendous! I found the game to be really poor and Konami’s trial to match EA’s improvements just didn’t work.That’s when I decided to change to FIFA. And I have to say I was quite impressed in how much EA had improved. FIFA09, 10, 11, 12 and 13 I was quite pleased with. They were all pretty decent games, but then came FIFA14 – and PS4. This is probably more a complaint towards Sony and EA,

Quick, responsive, exciting. All words you'd associate with past PES titles. Something that has been missing for a few of the more recent titles.PES 2016 is a return to form and may one day be held up with the top PS2 era titles.Gameplay is much more fluid, AI has improved, and it definitely offers more freedom than recent titles. You do still have to hold R2 (super cancel) to bend your run onto a through ball/deep cross, though.Master League has been reworked: You can stop time daily during the transfer window, no more happy face things during contract negotiations, and different player traits that affect merchandise sales, training, and fire players up for derby matches.

If youre a real football fan and you want a true football experience then buy this game. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the amount of stadium missing, the fact there is no Bundesliga (You do get Bayern Wolfsburg and BMG) and also the MyClub Pro Evos answer to Ultimate Team is hugely frustrqting woth it's "balls system". Very aptly named.All this is secondary though to the moat realistic, playable and challenging football game there has ever seen. Last year Pro Evo stated "The pitch is ours" well last year they made strides but being better than FIFA didnt make it the best, this year the pitch is indeed there's thanks to a masterpiece of A.I brought to you by people who clearly know and love football.This year the tag is "love the past,

Pes has had its pants pulled down in recent years, but this years version has really pulled them back up again. Its "friend" FIFA outsells but doesnt outplay as now ea are plateauing in the football games industry and very happy to churn out some mediocre game which many dribbling fanboys will snap up in a heatbeat.I've been a PES fan ever since the first one came out for the PS1 and still have this copy. This however is more realistic and still the same quality expected from Konami.Don't get put off by the non licences as just a few moments spent tweaking or download the kits from sites on the internet and you'll have a fully licensed version of pes in no time!

Much better then last year, my club has been improved you now earn xp for every player you have so you can make them better how ever they include all players from teams which are not in the game which is very annoying as they show as a free agentGame play is much better it's not just long ball and goal which is basically fifaAlso if you buy the anniversary edition you get everything it states the 5 contracts are tickets so once there gone you earn more by getting promoted in seasonsOverall much improved then last year I think they can improve a lot more then we really do have a fifa killer.

Looks great and love the player movement when dribbling always been a PES fan but the only thing stopping the 5 star rating is the teams don't have kits. so if your not prepared to wait a while for kit packs to appear online, then having to create kits yourself will take time. The kits on the disc are not even the same colour/style as the real teams, for example Arsenals home and away kit are orange.

Avert good effort from Konami for the 2016 version.Actually prefer this to FIFA for pure enjoyment with a friend, it's perhaps a bit less real life like with how far you can kick the ball etc but it is a real good laugh.FIFA is still quality but finally has a rival for entertainment value.Got this on lighting deal for discount - very pleased and arrived well packed and in time for the weekend!

Amazing game, they've really created the perfect game this year.Myclub mode online is where I play with Robben,Messi,Neymar,Perotti scoring some amazing goals for me.If you like 2015 you'll love this, it's better than the demo , the demo was way to fast and arcadey, this has been tweaked for the better, if you don't like the unlicensed kits that's all sorted now on ps4 with option files

Great improvement on last years edition. Gameplay much better than the other footy game also now that you can edit teams, strip and emblems is a big plus. Only downside is the fact that the team rosters have not been updated and won't be till end if October is a big let down. Not being able to start my master league because of this is very disappointing.

Fantastic game. Easy to get real kits if that is a must. Gameplay so much better than Fifa, and I have played both over the years. The graphics are sharp and the player interaction first rate. Give this game a chance and it will reward you, especially online divisions my club or the famous master league. You will not be disappointed!

Poor Goalies. Good gameplay but the good are the best nomatter what you do or learn. very dark sceern presentation.It will be a collector item for the future and good investment but not the best. The strikers are phenoemnal. You have to buy the best to defend well against them. It a stirkers game. Not balanced enough.

Perfect Perfect Perfect Football Game, PES 2016 is the best and most playable game ever from Konami, I love this game very much, the graphic of this game on PS4 is amazing, the gameplay is more fun than any previous version, this game in little words : The Best Game Ever :).Go ahead KONAMI :)

Better gameplay than FIFA this year, the online modes are pretty dreadful though. Also, the tendencies for defenders to just stand and watch the ball roll slowly past them, as well as the ridiculous hesitation to clear when you're pounding the square button drives you f****** mental.

Best to read professional reviews for all gameplay features etc but believe me this game is excellent. Best football game ever. Won't go back to FIFA if Konami keep this up. I also got all the DLC mentioned in the description. It is found in the email inbox section of myClub.

PES just keeps getting better and better year on year. Love this game, the goalkeepers could still do with a bit o work in my opinion but to be honest, after giving up on FIFA ever becoming good (thanks to EA being greedy and lazy), this is a great replacement and great fun.
