First of all, I can definitely understand people's frustrations with this game...but...if you are the type of person who has the patience to stick with a game, this will reward you. A lot of people are saying they find it frustrating because it's hard to make your team tick, and achieve any kind of success, well, duh! talk to most football managers and i think you'll find 90% of them will say the same thing! if you take over a club from scratch and have to build things yourself, it doesn't happen overnight, you have to be patient and get things in the right place from the start, if you make mistakes, you will be punished. Football can be brutal aswell as beautiful! for me, this game nails that brilliantly.it does take a while to figure out, yes, because most people (like me) will have bought this thinking wow, it's pro evo, but different, i can't wait. but i love the way it looks, and plays, it uses the classic pro evo graphics, which for me are unrivalled by any other football game EVER! and the animations, talking to your players/chairman,secretary, little updates from the scouts, these are great touches. In my eyes it combines the best elements of the old pro evo's (6 is my favourite but unfortunately i cannot copy over all my data from that game) and is also way more visual than the text based champs of this world. it can be frustrating watching the games, but you have to learn how to be the manager and change it, it is definitely possible! if things aren't working, you can tweak player's individual games, set out very comprehensive tactics, and if you learn to get the right combo, you can get your team playing some lovely stuff. i created forest and in my first season i finished 4th and won the league cup. i managed to sign motta, baros, gattusso, vennegoor, robbie keane, semioli, kily gonzalez, robert green and other great players, and had a well balanced squad. it really gives it an exciting feeling when a player comes to your club for talks, and sits in front of you, you have to wheel and deal, it's great fun! if you're the kind of person that wants to get stuck in and play, this isn't for you, it requires a bit more patience and time, but it's well worth it. if not, what the hel are you doing playing a football manaer game in the first place?! considering this is konami's first effort, i think it's a great game, and for christs sake, you can get it for 2 quid brand new now! they can definitely improve in a lot of areas, but i hope the makers of this game don't read all the bad reviews and just think "well that was a flop, let's neeeever speak of this again" they should have another pop, listen to our criticisms, keep the best bits (which by far outweigh the bad) come back and make what could be one of the best football games of all time. just think, pro evo, the best football game ever, combined with champ, it would be unreal. this particular version still leaves a lot to be desired, but knowing konami and the way they progressed with the original ISS games into what pro evo is today, they are definitely up to the challenge.

I think the game is a fun game tobstart with, but then it just gets boring, me and my friend play on this game and we think the game is fun but when you get used to it it getting boring, especally whenyou start drawing and losing all the time.I have ordered the game and i am getting sometime in the week, most likely tuesday, I like the fact you can watch your team play, but when you start losing it just gets boring, i also think the tv shows and highligths on the game are pointless becuase they on only on for 30 seconds, for example"good evening and welcome to pro elovution soccer highlights." ...(30 seconds later)"thank and good night"You see no piont at all, anyway overall i liked the game but konami should do more on the next pro evolution soccer management game, (pro evolution soccer management 2), such as keeping the gamer enterain in the long term, meaning not just enteraining them for creating there manager, choosing staff and playing the first couple games.Last of all the opponite reasearch is to long and should be cut shorter.thanks for reading.

For the first maagement game by Konami, it does do very well. You can import your PES 4 or 5 teams to manage or start over. The aspects of the game are very realistic and life like. With a PES engine to watch highlights, its very handy. I rate tis game highly. However, the only problem I found was the length it takes to move from day to day. Considering its a first from Konami, I say well done, cant wait till they bring out a second one!!!

it has good graphics but you can't go many teams and they don't have the real names of all the teams it is also easy to transphere players. You can't go teams out side of the top leagues
