As an officially licensed alternative, you'd expect this to be good and it doesn't fail there. They fit nicely and firmly without any issues and charge reasonably quickly.My only gripe with them is that the instructions give out mixed messages. The first directions say that you should charge it via "your Xbox One Console (or any other powered USB input)". Despite saying this twice, later in the instructions, under 'Charging' is says that "the Play and Charge batteries must be charged using the Xbox console for charging". Ideally, I might have used a smart USB charger, but this dissuades me from doing so, just in case any problems developed.

The main reason for purchase was the controller micro usb socket connection became a little iffy and these batteries gave me the option to cherge outside the controller. In this respect they are perfect.The capacity of the batteries however isn't as great as I had hoped and I seem to be switching them more often than I would have expected.Lastly, the separate covers are a bit of a pain...BUT!!!! These are one of the fee ones that will fit in the new series s/x controllers and sine I plan on upgrading at some point, atleast I will still be able to use them.All in all barring these minor gripes, I would recommend.

These batteries work really well and I have been really pleased with the battery life - I'm not a heavy gamer but I am still on the first charge and I bought nearly three months ago. I like the fact you can charge them whether inserted in the controller or not as there is always that moment when you realise the one in is dying and the other is flat too! Having said that, I've not got there yet with the battery life they have. For me personally I actually like the fact they are orange rather than black so you can see they are fitted.

Thank goodness I finally bought this! I'd been meaning to for months, buying so many batteries instead. The current lockdown told me I was going to need this.Product works perfectly, and I love that it comes with back covers because I had lost mine! Double pack is great, and you can charge these without it being plugged into the controller which is perfect for me.Battery seems to be long lasting, don't know exactly how long though, and the cable is extra long so you can charge and play at the same time if necessary

Got this for nearly half price just before Xmas. Can now use from a distance; rather than sitting bang in front of TV when batteries run out and had to go wired in past. Environmentally friendly. Has handy red LED to show when charging which turns green once charged. Can still be used wired if not charged.. Even if Xbox is off the.front USB port still charges. An improvement could be the 'charge-thru' battery covers which don't feel robust, but wouldn't drop star as still great value/functions

Excellent build quality. PowerA always delivers. Charge holds for a substantially longer time compared to the Energizer rechargeable batteries I was using previously. The ability to play and charge is fantastic but what makes this product even better is the charge port on the battery itself. Using the charge port on the battery itself means no wear and tear for the controller charge port meaning a far smaller payout for a new play and charge kit compared to a new Elite controller :-)

The capacity of these batteries is great, I usually don't have to charge them for days. With nearly twice the capacity of my previous batteries it's perfect for longer sessions. I found the insertion a bit tricky when I tried it for the first time, but quickly learnt how to do it properly. The charging cable is surprisingly long. I can comfortably lay back in my couch while holding the charging controller without pulling the cable out of the battery or xbox. I can only recommend it.

The batteries have around a 8-14 hour usage time depending on the functions you are using on the Xbox controller. They are orange and have a black battery compartment cover that you will need to use on the back of the Xbox one wireless controller. This works well with black & white controllers but not so well with other colours so be aware that you’re controller won’t quite look the same afterwards. This is a good quality budget battery set and you get two.

These fit the controller perfectly. They are well made and seem to be good quality. They charged up fine using a powerbank and the other on a standard USB phone charger. I've yet to run them down to try out the cable. Time for a FIFA session to see how long they last. The kit only comes with one cable so if you're gaming with a friend you will need another cable just in case both packs run out at the same time. All in all a great product at a great price.

Having purchased Gears of War 4 Xbox One S, I bought this product because of swapping out AA batteries. The batteries fit the Xbox One S controller, however, I am still only getting 3 hours of play out of them. The big plus of this product is that you can use the provided USB cable to charge your battery whilst still playing your game. I knocked a star off for the battery life, but that just might be that I play FPS games too much ;)

This is a must have for any Xbox One owners!The charge time is very minimal and each charge will last a good 6 to 12 hours!Slightly fiddly to fit at first but once you get used to it you won't have any issues, best part is once they are fitted into controller you won't need to remove them till it's time to replace them.The USB lead included is extremely long and kind of overkill.Better than any other batteries sold for Xbox

Battery is durable and the wire is loooong. Excellent product if you get an elite controller and other batteries arent cutting it. Was actually stupified by how long the batteries last especially when using wired headset, a good one, not the wire coat hanger/jigsaw torture device that comes with the xbox. The batteries have endured whilst I'm on my second £170 elite controller... what am I doing with my life?

I bought this item as I broke the charging port on my xbox elite controller, I was worried I would have to use batteries from now on, but with this pack I plugged one of the kits into where my battery pack goes on my controller, and plugged my cable straight in. Works amazing and had no issues with a month of use! Not to mention the price is very fair considering you get 2 of the product in the pack!

These are excellent. My son burns through batteries like anything despite me having power packs for his controller.. These really do provide extended play and he has one on charge while using the other one... No more loss of power in the middle of an important raid or match. He thinks these are brilliant and I can't understand why I didn't purchase them sooner. Highly recommended purchase!!!!!!
