I bought this controller primarily to have an alternative to my ageing and unreliable joy-cons that came with my Switch, and also to use with some games on my PC.It arrived in good condition. Some extremely minor scratches can be seen when looked at from certain angles but I'm not someone to get bothered over things like that. The controller feels good to hold, the joysticks feel nice and snappy and all the buttons have a satisfying click. It's important to note that the left and right triggers are digital, meaning they're either pressed or not (no degrees of pressure like you might find on an Xbox controller). This is standard for Nintendo controllers though so not an issue, just something to keep in mind.I can't comment on the configurable macro keys on the back of the controller as I haven't found a reason to use them. The cable that comes with the controller is very long (I believe 10 feet), meaning you can sit comfortably far from the screen if you'd like. Keep in mind that it can only be used with a docked Switch, as it uses a USB connection that the Switch "tablet" itself does not have.A minor gripe I have with the controller is the lack of vibration or motion controls. Not a major problem as it is a contributing factor in keeping the product cheap, but vibration especially feels like it should be somewhat standard in controllers.Overall, if you want a cheap but effective controller for use with a Nintendo Switch this is a good option to go with. It's lacking some features of the official Nintendo Pro Controller, but if you don't mind sacrificing those this will get the job done and won't put you too out-of-pocket doing it.

PROSI love the design and price.the headphone jack is a good feature.the macro buttons arent useful to me but I appreciate that they exist.the wire is nice and long meaning that I can very comfortable play from my bedthe joysticks are very nice and springyMIXEDI'm of two minds about the thumbsticks. they're smaller than a PS4s, but bigger than the standard joycons. my roommate actually got the 'regular' (not enhanced) version of this controller which has bigger thumbsticks. I think I like the feel of that one better? but I didnt test it for longthe joysticks have the snapback issue. this is where when you flick the joystick one way, about 7/10 times it will face your character the other when you let go.THIS IS MOSTLY A NINTENDO ISSUE. it's also there on the official pro controller. Nintendo could fix this in the future with a software update but for now it remains.CONSwhen headphones are plugged in, theres a constant staticy noise. noticeable when theres a silence.the buttons could be better. they're not mushy, just a bit cheap feeling.no rumble, NFC support, or motion controls. rumble at least would have been nice

I brought this as a gift for my brother who has a switch he struggles to take off the remotes ether side of it and wanted something easier. This remote is easy for him to use, just plugs in via usb to the console and also it allows you to changed the buttons if you weren’t happy with the order of the controls which is great for people who are used to playing bigger consoles, only thing I would say is it’s pretty light weight and if too heavy handed I think it would be easier to break then other remotes I have some across for other consoles, overall a great product and I would recommend getting it!Also acts as a second controller and that allows three people to play a game at once instead of just the two with the side controllers that attach to the switch.

For the price it’s a great controller. A little too lightweight and hollow for my preferences, but the buttons are way more satisfying/have more travel than the joycons and the joysticks are much more well made, so you shouldn’t ever have to worry about a drift issue. Cable is nice and long, ended up with way more length than I needed, and set up was just plugging it in.If you just need a controller to play single player or couch multiplayer games this will do without breaking the bank, but if you want something for Smash or whatever you’ll probably want something with more weight, resistance and response time.Oh and finally being able to plug my headphones in to a controller is a dream come true honestly.

So overall a very good product for the price - not too expensive and the design is AMAZING it looks so good with my acnh switch !! The 10m cable is easy to attach to both controller and switch and doesn’t get in the way of gameplay at all.The onlyyyy issue I have with this product is the headphone jack. Not only do you have to force the headphones into the plug, the sound quality is not the best. You can hear fine but you sound very quiet to the people your talking to in game. I’ve only tried with Apple headphones so maybe a different headset will be better but I don’t want to spend money for it to be the same :(Overall - good product for the price however if the audio issue is fixed it wouldbe even better

The controller itself is good, nice artwork on the front, buttons are big and click-y the d-pad has a tiny amount of wiggle but is pretty solid. The controller is quite light which is fine it just looks like it should be heavier. I only knocked a star off because of this as it makes it feel a little on the cheap side and the fact my one came with one of the “programmable” buttons on the back broken (it’s permanently stuck in) which to be fair I didn’t know it had extra buttons on the back so not really bothered about it myself, it just also makes it feel cheap (which I guess it is for a switch controller) other than that though it’s great and way better than using the joy cons in the grip!

Having to deal with my normal switch controllers having joy con drift has been overwhelmingly annoying there's no way i could buy a replacement for them at £70 no matter how much I tried saving. This is not only cheaper but better, I'm finally able to use the switch without the controllers throwing me everywhere, I picked the purple one after months of debating if it was worth it.Although it's light I find it easier on the wrists if you can't afford another replacement for the joy con controllers like I couldn't then these are the ones for you! You can't transport them around unless you buy a wireless one but they're perfect for a set-up in your home.

Uhhh I've had this controller for 6-ish months. Regular use. Basically daily. Still works.OK so basics. Always has to be plugged in. Duh. If removed it doesn't play. Good for storage though. If you're eating stuff DON'T GET IT ON IT. Nightmare to clean off. Especially chocolate. As a parent of small kids FOLLOW THIS.No drift problems, buttons don't stick unless you know, food or drink. Controls are a little slow sometimes but not noticeable. I'd imagine in an intense game it would be annoying though but what do you expect.I should say my version is the animal crossing one. The one with faunas head amongst others. Very cute. I recommend it lol.

it’s amazing for the price and can be a lot more comfortable than joycons if you’re playing competitively or for hours at a time. it’s a light controller, which may throw people off but doesn’t throw me off, it has no vibration or amiibo reader nor does it have sensors for tilting the controller etc. BUT this is a really cheap controller and you get a cool design. it works completely fine and feels good, not too cheap. i would recommend this to anyone on a tight budget for a controller instead of the joycons, maybe not for someone who’s playing very competitively. but casual gaming is good for this controller.

First off, I wanna say the controller is an awesome reference to the funtastic line of the Nintendo 64 days. It's nice and bulky and, to my surprise, takes hectic rough play when playing shooters and Smash Bros; Compared to the PDP line controllers. I have to say that it feels pretty light compared to the Pro controllers but that should not be an issue, merely an observation. However, due to its lightness, I would have to assume that too many drops would surely crack the controller. So please, take extra care and do NOT drop it from high heights. Totally recommend, will definitely buy another!

Took a risk on this one as I really didn’t want to shell out for a pro controller but wanted a proper controller rather than the joycon for playing retro platformers etc. This is great, I don’t mind that it’s wired as I prefer to plug all my controllers in, also means zero input lag. The controller feels extremely light as it has no battery’s or rumble / giro etc which does make it feel a bit cheap but it’s not, it works really nicely and for a 3rd of the price of a pro controller you can’t really go wrong for a Nintendo licensed controller. They also look really nice, I got the purple one

Works straight out the box, my girlfriend now exclusively uses the wired controller as it's lighter and has Mario on it which she likes ...we haven't programmed the buttons on the bottom but having used these controllers before on consoles they're super useful if you need to keep your thumbs on the analogue sticks and use one of the face (ABYX) buttons quickly. Easily programmable as well. They don't last forever, but compared to the price of other controllers for me it's a no brainer. No controller lasts indefinitely, these just last a little less time than the more expensive ones.

Got this controller earlier today. I had been contemplating getting a controller since I got my switch at Christmas but now was the right time. I had gotten to the point where I felt lost of my joy cons ran out of charge. I have to admit, at first... very strange holding a controller rather than the joycon with its controller adapter but I love it. Im glad I brought the blue as its extremely bright and stands out. Im only on day one so only giving my first impressions.UPDATE: I have had no issues or complaints when it comes to this controller. It is simply amazing for the price

I've been using this both on Switch and PC and works perfectly so far. Windows PC picks it up instantly and it works flawlessly with Steam. The advantage of skipping the wireless, built-in battery etc is that it's super light and comfortable to use for long sessions. Also not needing to worry about input lag or running out of battery is a big PLUS!Loses a star because there's a headphone jack but the audio quality is awful and it's also impossible to adjust the volume on PC, they should have left this out. Not a dealbreaker if you have other audio options.

As this was my first Nintendo controller, it was brilliant! It’s very smooth to play with. And certainly made it easier to play games with! I’m absolutely blown away and overly excited with this product. Ever since I got it I couldn’t keep my eyes of it! With such a unique design I can show off to all my friends about it! If you have not had a controller for your Nintendo yet, I would certainly suggest you would buy this! Since it’s wire you won’t have to worry it running out of battery! I’m just so in love with this product!
