The design of the Zelda "Z" faceplate is more impressive than expected. The included alternative plate, based on the Sheikah Slate, has a simpler design with no pattern on the dark grey parts. It looks much less "fancy", but it's a nice option, especially if you prefer the colour blue to gold, or want a more subtle design. The buttons all work fine, though when the ABXY buttons are pressed, the sound produced is a fair bit louder than other controllers. The joysticks are also a bit loud when used. This doesn't bother me personally however. The controller is relatively light. This is probably due to the lack of battery, vibration and motion control components. As I play on a Switch Lite a lot I'm used to the absence of vibration,so it wasn't a problem for me here. The lack of motion controls is not a problem in many games, though if you like playing Splatoon with the motion controls enabled, you'll probably want to either keep using the joy-cons and joy-con grip for that, or just opt to buy another pro controller entirely. The cable is very long at 10ft. The cable can be removed from the controller, meaning if the cable ever gets damaged, you just have to replace the cable and not the whole controller. The cable itself is a standard USB-C to USB-A cable. The cable included with the product plugs into the Switch dock. If you intend to play on the TV, you will need no additional accessories. You'll need to get an adapter if you want to use this with a Switch in tabletop mode or a Switch Lite. This is because the controller isn't wireless, and the Switch has no USB-A port apart from the ones on the dock. The adapter I used is an Anker USB 3.1 female to USB-C adapter. You'll also want a stand designed to leave the port on the bottom of the Switch unobstructed, so you can plug the adapter in.Another option for tabletop players is to not buy either of those things and just get the "Dual USB Playstand" by Hori instead. It is marketed primarily as a Switch Lite accessory, but it works with the original Switch too. It has 2 USB-A ports for controllers, and has a USB-C port for the charger too. This is a good option if you want to play and charge at the same time, the disadvantages are that it doesn't work if the Switch has a protective cover on it, and it is less stable than many other Switch stands as the kickstand is loose (not fixed into place). Another Hori playstand exists, the "Multiport USB PlayStand", but I've never tried that one.it's worth keeping in mind that this controller has no headphone jack, as it is a "Faceoff Deluxe" controller, and the newer model with the headphone jack is called the "Faceoff Deluxe+" (note the plus sign on the end). It might be better to opt for that model if you want to listen to in-game audio privately on TV mode without disturbing others, or if you want to use voice chat headsets with compatible games. If you don't care about the headphone jack, this model is probably the better of the two, if only because the cable on the Deluxe+ is permanently fixed onto the controller and is not replaceable. This controller has no turbo function, which I don't mind, but I initially found it a bit odd as the original "Faceoff" has turbo. It's probably because there is only room for one function button on the faceplates for these controllers, and it would have been fiddly to use one button to control two different functions (on this model, the button is used to map button inputs to the two back paddle buttons.) If you would prefer to have a turbo function instead of back paddles, you should get the original "Faceoff" model.Overall this controller is worth it for the price.

This range of controllers are fantastic cheap alternatives to the pro-controller. It doesn’t feel as well constructed, and obviously has its wire to contend with, but if you are after a secondary controller for when people come round, then this is a great option. That said there are a range of these controllers, and having bought a number as gifts for friends, this is the one I chose for myself. It has a simple and attractive design to the front and is attractive without being over the top in its design. For my taste, this is the best controller in the range.

Good controller for the money. Me and my family like playing on the switch together in multiplayer mode and each one us has had no issues and after a few months after purchasing it’s still going strong after daily use. My Bly criticism is that the cable can become rather twisted and tangled up and becomes quite tricky to onto without damaging it so make sure you store it away after use and don’t leave it plugged in to the switch’s usb slot otherwise it will tangle.

Good option for a cheaper switch controller.Feels very light but suprisingly well built for how light it is.No rumble or motion features which does explain how light it is.All in all its a well built controller for anyone who doesnt need rumble or motion controls or wireless

Great product boyfriend loves it but amazon delivery keep leaving my orders outside my house without waiting for someone to get to the door. I get there and my product is on the floor and they’re getting into their van.

The controller is great it's just the location of the back buttons is annoying. They're too big and too close to the grips so it's hard not to accidentally hit them while playing

I love this controller I use it daily, but the downside is that the face off part can be difficult to get off if you are a child

Works great with a perfect length of cable, but doesn't wake up the switch from standby. It also feels cheap.
