Let me start by saying that I'm a massive PvZ fan, MASSIVE! I absolutely loved PvZ GW2 and played it to the point of where there was nothing else do to in the map.So what has changed:- The graphics seem a bit more cartoony is this one, it took me a while to get used to.- It's online only so you will need Xbox Gold to play as it joins you to the starting area with players there already, unlike in PvZ GW2 where you could only access online features by going through the portal. Not sure if this changes anything in the game, feels like a forced way to make players purchase Gold.- Split screen is still available. As soon the 2nd player connects his controller an option to join appears, which has been made smoother than in the previous game.- Has new maps to explore with an arcade mode of it's own and this time it gives you hints on where to find gnomes, I think this is a major improvement- The fire, toxic, ice etc. characters have been joined in one where you can add upgrades, which is cool but I still miss the elements characters.- Money seems to be completely useless. There is something called Reward-o-tron where you can buy stuff like a lucky dip but it is only consumables and eventually I had them all so I have millions on coins but nowhere to use them. You can also pay to earn XP which I don't think is a necessary feature.- Turf takeovers are still great, but could use more maps. I know they did release a new one - Storm Time machine map which was exciting but that was a while ago.- Online maps now have computers playing against you as well if there are not enough people in the opposing team which really helps as they are not easy so the whole game isn't wasted if there are not enough people like it was on the previous version.- Quests. You get 2 daily quests + 1 rainbow stars quest (split in 3) a week. I feel like it's not enough. Once completed you get bulbs which you can then use for Monthly rewards map which is pretty much the only thing that keeps me playing the game at this point. One thing that I find frustrating is if you have a zombie quest but get joined only to plants teams and vice versa. I get it if the opposing team is full, but most of the time it has computers playing so why not let players who need it join? It's a great online game, but I am desperately hoping that new stuff will be added - new features, new maps. I think the setup is great and new things could easily be added without having to create a full new game. Hell, do a new maps upgrade for a £10 I am sure people like me would be more than happy to pay.

Was asked by my 12 year old Grandson for this for xmas, however I haven't seen him yet to give him his gifts as I have been ill, I also bought the same game for PS4 for a 7 year old and he loves it, has had hours of fun, only issue was also had to buy a 49.99 PS4 pass to utilise all the add ons etc, ....that however is not argos fault! And my experience with argos from ordering to collecting was great.

I play this with my 2 boys and we have loads of fun. Online is the main feature of this game, so make sure you or your child has Xbox Live for it to work. It's more of the same from a great series. A few things freshen it up but to be honest there is still fun to be had in the earlier games if you can find them cheaper. This is a great kid / family friendly shooter - recommended

Been playing this game for several weeks now as I got the Founders edition on the Xbox Store. Brilliant fun game to play with plenty to do. Graphics are so good and the characters are funny and cute ?.And yes, before anyone else gives it a bad review because they couldn’t be bothered to look into the game first, you will need to be online to play this.

Great game only let down by the fact it's made by EA. Therefore, expect your child to be asking for a lot of in-game purchases. For other parents - EA are probably the worst company for this. They promote gambling for children with loot boxes/pay to win etc. Their games are very good, but beware of the tactics of this shady company.

Highly recommended game, both my boys love this game, ones 5 years old and the other 9 and they love playing this game together. It's 2 player co-op and you can be either the plant or zombie which extends the playability factor in my eyes. The graphics are awesome (HDR) and I can see my kids playing this for many enjoyable hours

This was £1 more expensive from Argos than currys but had to wait for next day delivery with currys.Argos had it to collect immediately so as my child didn't want to wait as his friends already have the game and it was half term. He just couldn't wait to play it. We reserved it and picked it up straight away.

My 8 year old son begged me for this game as soon as he saw the advert for it at the cinema. I held back and didn’t buy it till he did amazing on his parents evening. He loves this game so much, the graphics are amazing too. Would recommend this game for any one with a gamer child!

Bought this to accompany xbox one as Christmas pressie. Also had Crash Bandicoot trilogy and Crash Racing and lastly Minecraft (as it had been the favourite on switch). Plants vs Aliens has been almost exclusively in the system. Kid is 7 and has no issue working it.

Pretty good game. Not as good as previous Garden Warfare games, but still enjoyable. The removed character variations, such as Fire Chomper and Ice Pea, in favour of 6 new Plants and Zombie heroes. Camera seem laggy when moving it around. Game modes are top notch.

This was a gift for our kids aged 6 and 8. Like the previous plants vs zombie game they totally love this and play as a team together. They especially liked being able to change from an acorn to an oak tree as this was demonstrated to me on numerous occasions!

My three children aged 10, 8 and 7 all love this game, my football crazy son says it even more fun than FIFA... but not to tell his friends.Shame it went down by £7 two days after I bought it.Highly recommend!!

My son loves these games and has played all the others.Had to buy him a copy after he had been watching his dad play the game and wanted his own copy rather then using his dads one. Now that can play together.

Just like the first plants vs zombies it’s easy and simple to play, as well as enjoyable. We all played this over Christmas and it was fun for all ages, especially for my two younger cousins who are 7 and 9.
