This product has quite a few fab features for me personally. Firstly its is quite lightweight and sits comfortably in my hand. It has two brushing speeds so you have the option to choose between a low or high intensity. I loved the high Intensity mode. The lower one is less intensive , gentler. The higher one is quicker and more intensive, I guess it depends on your own personal taste. I also loved the sound it makes whilst you clean your teeth. The toothbrush also features a clean mode which basically means it has a two minute timer, loved this , I don’t think I had been cleaning my teeth for the recommended time before. My teeth look so much better now, evidenced by the fact that I smile more, because I know my teeth are cleaner because I see the results in the mirror. It also has a quadpacer which omits a nice little sound letting you know it’s time to clean another section of your teeth. 30 seconds each section of the mouth. This is so helpful. Another fab feature of the sonicare 4300 is the pressure sensor which alerts you if you are pressing too hard whilst cleaning. The vibrating of the brush head does this wobbly vibrating thing if you are pressing too hard . I found this really helpful . Basically making sure you are not damaging your gums or making them sore. Ultimately it assists you in cleaning your teeth correctly to enable good mouth and tooth hygiene. It also has a feature which alerts you to a new brush head replacement, the green light turns to amber.I have previously suffered with build up of plaque and even after visiting my hygienist the plaque builds up quite quickly particularly between my lower two middle front teeth. Well no more , this little beauty is keeping the plaque at bay, the benefits of this are I smile more and feel more confident because my teeth look so much better since using this toothbrush. Wish I had taken before and after photos. The toothbrush itself is a Matt black it looks smart and has a really comfortable texture when holding. It also comes with a white plastic travel case which is helpful , I have quite a few nights away from home so I find this very useful . Stays charged for a long time which is a bonus. Finally I would highly recommend this clever little toothbrush , my teeth look great and I feel confident that this Philips sonicare 4300 is doing exactly what it promises to do on the box ! This is far superior to the Sonicare brush costing double the amount. It is more slender, lighter weight, more attractive and has most of the features of the more expensive model. Furthermore the on/off button is better made and the brush attachment is more robust. I have been using Sonicare brushes without a break for over 25 years and have yet to find a better alternative. I have never had a cavity and attribute this to the Philips toothbrush as much as to good luck. The last one I purchased was the more expensive model which lasted only 2 years before the button failed and the brush attachment fell apart. I decided to try this model which cost half the amount at time of purchase, (ca. £60)and have been very happy with it. The on/off button is silicon rubber that lies flush with the body rather than the protruding metallic-plastic buttons on the high-end model that failed quite quickly. It is also much thinner and lighter which is a bonus when travelling but also because it fits the hand more comfortably. This version offers three power modes and is easy to toggle between the three. There is a solid travel case and charger provided. The case is useless to me because it's so large and heavy it adds too much weight to my cabin baggage, but more traditional travellers may find it useful and it is of great quality. Finally I should point out that Sonicare brushes oscillate at 63,000 rpm when at full speed. Cheaper Chinese copies of sonic toothbrushes oscillate at about 42,000 rpm at most. Be careful to compare these figures if considering a cheaper alternative as you really are not getting like for like. The Philips can also be fitted with softer bristle brush heads if so desired which is a feature I am unsure about with cheaper brands. I was disappointed by the relatively short lifespan of the Philips top-of-the-range brush but feel this cheaper version is actually much better and a return to the quality I have grown to associate with this brand. This is the model to buy and the best brand in my opinion. Recommended. I hope this has been helpful.

My dentist told me I had to get an electric toothbrush to prevent me from doing more damage to my gums by brushing too hard. I have always resisted the idea as I've not really had a problem with keeping my teeth well brushed and I really did not want to hand over control to yet another gadget.Anyway, needs must.... so I found a reasonably good one on Prime Day for half price and made sure it has pressure control - ie it warns you if you are pressing too hard.. It also has a facility to tell you when 30 seconds is up so you can do 30 seconds per quarter of your mouth.Well, the first day I tried it I almost sent it back!It felt really really odd and I kept touching my teeth with the vibrating plastic part which felt and sounded quite unpleasant; and I dribbled frothy toothpaste all over the place. But I told myself I had to give it a week and made myself try again - but this time I read the instructions more fully. I discovered I could set the brush so that the first 14 brushings start more gently and gradually increase in intensity and I learned what to expect to identify when the 30 seconds period is up and when I am brushing too hard - the change in the brush is very slight and not easy to recognise at first. So the second day was an improvement but I still felt my teeth rattling when I accidentally touched them with the plastic rather than the bristles and I was worried to close my mouth as I brushed in case I did it again. However, the vibration from the brush on my teeth was less severe and I felt a little more positive. The third day I managed to keep my mouth more closed and dripped less froth and the fourth day I was feeling more proficient. Now, the fifth day, I am quite hopeful that the brush is doing a reasonable job compared with my manual brush but I still have to do a little more brushing to 'finish off' after the 2 minutes timed brush is over.I will now have to wait until the next visit to the dentist to find out how effective it is!

I treated myself this Christmas to this new electric toothbrush. My existing one was starting to look old and tatty and was no longer operating at full power, needing recharging more frequently.Until now I had always bought electric toothbrushes from this brand’s main competitors. But I was tempted by the price and reviews this one had.I have not been disappointed, although it took a week or so to get used to, because it felt far more powerful and the sonic vibrations really tickled my gums at first. Having said that, I now feel more confident that my teeth are getting a really good clean. The battery life is very good.It has 2 settings powerful and wow even more powerful. It has two lights on it,one to alert you to when it needs recharging and the other to remind you to replace your brush head, which needs doing every 3 months. I am not sure how the latter alert works as yet because I have not had it long enough. It has a pressure sensor, so it will also alert you if you are pressing too hard.It also has what they call Quadpacer & Smart-Timer, the idea is you divide your mouth into quarters, and it alerts you by vibrating when it is time to move on to the next quad. This does discipline you into spending the right amount of time cleaning. You get a handy travel case, which I did not have with my previous one.The toothbrush heads come with individual covers which is great for hygiene, my previous make did not supply such things. The other brand supplied various coloured washers for their brush heads so that if multiple people were using the same unit, they could distinguish their own brush. This is the only thing they have not included in their design. This brush represents great value for money, does an excellent job without having to break the bank.

I love this toothbrush!I got it about 3 weeks ago now and my teeth have never felt cleaner. I also have noticed that my teeth look a lot brighter and I don't get plaque build up anymore - which was a main issue for me.I was surprised and delighted at how lightweight the toothbrush itself actually is, it is so much lighter than my previous electric toothbrush from another brand. I love the feel of the material when holding it too, so smooth and fits perfectly within my hand. However I did feel it was a bit long in size when I first got it but I have got used to it now and it all packs away into the brilliant travel case that comes with it. The travel case is great for me as I spend a lot of time between home, hotels and hospital and having my toothbrush hygienically safe in a box is perfect. I had a bad habit of putting too much pressure on my teeth when brushing and my teeth would be sore the following day. This toothbrush actually buzzes if I press too hard on my teeth! I haven't had sore teeth at all since I started using it!Since the initial first charge when I got it (the toothbrush actually came with some charge) I haven't needed to charge it again in the 2 weeks I've had it! This was one of the main reasons I went for this specific toothbrush as I feel like I'm forever charging everything so didn't need another thing to charge every 5 mins. When I first started using the toothbrush it tickled so much but after about 3 more times of using it I was well used to the feeling and it didn't bother me at all.Overall I'm so pleased with this toothbrush and I'm so glad to finally get rid of plaque, cant wait to see my hygienist again to show her the results! I've been using the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4300 Sonic electric toothbrush for just over 2 weeks and I have been very happy with it.The biggest improvement I have already noticed from my previous Sonicare toothbrush (Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Electric Toothbrush) is the longer battery life as I have still not had to charge it since I started using it. With my previous toothbrush, I would only get around a week's worth of use between each charge. Of course, this may change as the new one gets older but as of now, I am very impressed.I also love the design and the simplicity of the functions. My previous toothbrush had many functions which I never actually used which was why I opted to go for this one with the one mode as it was the same mode I used 9/10 times on my old toothbrush. The performance of the new toothbrush is also very good I have not noticed any significant difference in how it cleans. I still get the same great feeling after using it.I am also intrigued to see how well the BrushSync feature works in terms of letting me know when to change the brush head. I generally change the brush head every 3 months so I'm interested to see if the BrushSync feature works to a similar timeframe. So overall even after only using this for what I would call a short period of time I have been very impressed with this product and I would definitely recommend it.

After over a decade I have decided to change brand of my toothbrush. I always had that feeling that something is missing. My previous toothbrushes never cleaned my teeth withing 2 minutes. I had to extend my brushing time till I actually didn't feel any residue on my teeth. So finally I have decided to switch to different brand. I have watched and read some reviews and one toothbrush cough my eye. Philip's sonic 4300. Within my budget limit which made me happy. Once I have received toothbrush I really liked how it looked and felt in person while holding it. It's quieter than my previous toothbrush. What I also liked was the fact that head didn't had any holes where all crap can hide and stay there...my first use was a bit odd as it tickled my gums so I had to get use to it for a bit. It does brush your teeth very good and there was no need to press harder for better effect. Biggest plus is that my gums don't bleed. Which happened a lot with my old toothbrush. The only downside for me personally is that you need to keep your mouth shut or water will spray literally everywhere. Since I got this toothbrush I only charged it once and I have it 3 weeks now. It does switch off automatically after 2 minutes. I will definitely switch my kids toothbrushes at some point to Philips. It's my first toothbrush from this brand and I'm very surprised. I recommend it to anyone.

This is the first time we ever purchased an Electric Toothbrush in our mid 30s.After weeks (literally weeks) of studying & comparing all the different models in the market, we chose this model for the following reasons: and we are very content with this model.- Simple design (Timeless)- Simple to use (Only one speed. We realized we wouldn't need all kinds of functions like in DiamondClean afterall)- Simple "Affordable" price. Not too cheap, Not too expensive. (We knew we would regret if we spent over $100 for the first electric toothbrush)- Loudness (After watching several Youtube videos on loudness comparison between SoniCare and Oral-B,we found the loudness of SoniCare was less annoying than Oral-B's)Choice of Electric Toothbrushes depends on who you are:Do you like many options on different speeds and functions (Can you KEEP UP with those functions!)?Do you think one speed is enough?Do you like the price range of brush replacement of the brand? (Are you comfortable paying the price of brush replacement?) SoniCare brush replacements are more pricey than Oral-B.If you’re looking for a sophisticated yet simple to use, this is the one!I hope you will find THE ONE to suit your lifestyle :-)

I’ve used a Sonicare toothbrush for the last 10 years and they have always been good. My last one developed a fault after 4 years and Philips replaced the toothbrush and it lasted for another 5 years and has been excellent. I did not use the travel usb charger so decided that it would be worthwhile getting a simple 2 setting version. This version would be fine for a holiday without charger but if for longer (backpacking etc) then you might need the usb travel charger. The charger is simple although I do prefer the older style which has a flat bottom. The charge in the toothbrush consistently lasts for 2 weeks and I brush my teeth twice a day.The brush sync is useful but obviously problematic if you switch brush heads often… but I just use the line on the toothbrushes to know when to replace the heads.I do like the wobble feature for when you press too hard on the brush, however it has to be pressed pretty hard into your gum to trigger it. The low setting is great for those who might not be use to a Sonicare toothbrush but I instantly set mine to the higher power and it operates at the same rate as my last one.Simple, effective and hopefully will last as long as my last one :)

The Phillips Sonicare 4300 is a very good electric toothbrush for the £50 price tag. The toothbrush arrives with the vibrating handle, a charging base that is connected via a shaving plug, a travel case and one brush head. When you first use the brush, for the first 14 days it starts off in a "low vibration" mode to allow you to get used to the electric toothbrush and not to spray toothpaste everywhere, but if you've used one before, you can turn this off by pressing the power button for 2 seconds while charging.I had originally purchased an Oral B fancy bells and whistles with bluetooth (absolutely useless fyi) a while ago, and thought I would like to change, and I'm glad I did.I personally found the heads on the sonicare are slimmer, so I can more easily reach my gums, where I have had a lot of problems with in the past compared, even with the Oral B. I've had good experience with the battery life already, easily lasting 1 week while travelling.Pros:Good PriceGood Battery LifeExcellent Vibration/Cleaning - I much prefer the Sonicare to the Oral BSlim heads to easily reach gumsCons:The "pressure sensitivity" is a little hard to notice over the vibration of the handle

I have always has and Oral B Toothbrush and decided to try one of these sonicare ones. Best decision I have made this is by far much better than Oral B and don't know why I haven't bought one sooner. It came on 1 Sep and the battery only started flashing 24th Sep. And I normally brush my teeth for about 3 minutes not the standard 2 minutes. Battery life is ace. It cleans your teeth much better than my old brush. I have a tooth on my bottom of my mouth that sinks back and normally have to get it scaled at the dentist every 12 weeks to keep it white as my brush just didnt get in the corners of the tooth and I could normally start to see it turning yellow after like 2 weeks, but this brush is keeping my teeth cleaner, and whiter. When I used it for the 1st time it vibrates hardly moves like my other brush did so I was a bit sceptical but I'm really pleased with it. It has little pause after 30 seconds so you can move on to the next quarter of your mouth and stops after 2 minutes and has hard and soft setting. You defo don't need these smart brushes that cost £200 this is just as good for a fraction of the price

I have been using Sonicare toothbrushes for decades and have always been happy with them. A few years ago I bought a multi-feature 'Diamondclean' when it fell below £100 on offer. The only time I used the various 'modes' is when I had to cycle through them to rinse the head. Alas, the Diamondclean failed after 18 months, by far the worst longevity on any Sonicare I have had. I replaced it with an equally effective 'Easyclean' whose features and modes were limited to 'on' or 'off'. The Easyclean is still going strong but when I saw this at £55 on Black Friday I began pining for the superior feel of the matte handle found on the Diamondclean. I scoured the blurb but no mention of the type of handle material but bought it anyway (that being the post 60 limits of 'living on the edge' ). Happily it does have a matte handle and even better you don't have to cycle through multiple modes to rinse the head. It doesn't seem much better at cleaning than the Easyclean but does feel more comfortable in the hand and is still inexpensive enough not to provoke apoplexy if it fails six months out of warranty.
