I've flossed my teeth with everything under the sun, starting from flossing tape to the AirFloss Pro and everything in between. The design is sleek and simple, and so are the functions. The button that initiates the bursts of air/water is conveniently placed at the top of the body, making it less likely to be accidentally pressed when it's pointing at your wallpaper or in somebody's face.Another button is located on the body which allows you to regulate how many uninterrupted bursts are to be done from 1 to 3. These functions offer a level of control that other similar devices don't have and this is a big plus.Another plus is the fact that you can choose between flossing with air or flossing with water as the device offers a small water compartment that may or may not be filled.the design for the compartment could use with improvement as filling it up from the sink can be messy and I wouldn't want it penetrating into the device.Flossing with water delivers a more powerful burst, and therefore the option to just use air is a more gentle alternative for those with very tender, inflamed or damaged oral tissue. All in all it doesn't try to be something that it isn't. It's sleek, does what it promises to do, and has various ways of operation that allow for a more controlled clean. As a dental professional I do approve of such a product as part of daily and thorough brushing. To use this product before and after brushing is what I would personally do, although there is no correct way to use it. As a suggestion, I would love to see "special" heads that are elongated, thin or both. This would results in better manipulation of flossing as you can place it between the gaps in your teeth or into deep pockets where the tooth brush just can't reach [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The flosser arrived and was very compact, only a little larger than my electric toothbrush. Looks very snazzy compared to other bathroom electronics. Charging time was fairly quick, and the product holds charge well. It works like this: you fill it up with water or mouthwash, turn it on, press a button, and it releases a powerful jet of water and air aiming in between your teeth. You should note that the flosser releases short bursts of water, so you cannot use it to get into the nooks and crannies of your cheeks for example, in a way that you can with other water flossers. This has both pros and cons. The pro is that the product isn’t massive like the continuously flowing oral irrigators because the product isn’t holding a large amount of water, benefitting from very powerful but short bursts of water and air. The con is that you aren’t able to rinse the whole of your mouth as thoroughly. You also can’t exactly get into all the spaces between your teeth and gums because of the short bursts – just between the teeth. But then again, you also aren’t dribbling water as you use it, which used to annoy me with continuous-flow irrigators. It is also quite loud; I avoid using it when the rest of the house have gone to bed. It also would have been nice to have the option of colour coded heads, so the whole family can use it. I would recommend this if you travel a lot and want a compact, light flosser. To me it seems more powerful than others I tried, though not quite as comprehensive at getting the whole mouth/gums clean. Just rinse very thoroughly. Definitely better and faster than conventional flossing. Depends whether you prefer continuous or intermitted flow of water.

I have been using an electric toothbrush and have used conventional dental floss for many years and have regarded my teeth and gums as being as well as expected given my age. This has always been confirmed, within reason, by my dentist. Having acquired an Airfloss Pro, I was keen to try it, not expecting to see any marked improvement in my mouth. After unpacking it and fully charging for the first time for 24 hours, I pressed the power button which defaults to the recommended three pulses. It can be used with the mouthwash supplied or clean water. After a couple of pulses by using the ergonomic button on top to activate the flow, the Airfloss is easily used by guiding it along the gums to locate the gaps in the teeth.Having gone round my mouth I was quite shocked to see some blood which is something I never get from conventional flossing. I re-read the instructions and was relieved to see that this was quite common during early use. In my case, it continued on and off for about 10 days after which it has completely settled down. Coincidentally, I had an appointment with my dentist and hygienist and both commented upon my teeth and more particularly my gums which I have noticed to be more pink in colour. Before using Airfloss I regarded my teeth and gums as being as good as I could expect, but I can honestly say that I have noticed an improvement and for this reason, coupled with the ease of use, I give it five stars. I would thoroughly recommend it.

I have been advised to use this Airfloss Pro by my maxillofacial surgeon and dentist to clean under and around all-on-4 implant fixed and removable dentures.Right! How many people seriously enjoy flossing their teeth the old-fashioned way? This handsome gadget is a must to remove food particles, plaque and other undesirables that can congregate around implant work and also, of course, for real teeth!Flossing interdental brushes were marvellous when they first came on the market and let's face it, traditional dental floss can be awkward to use and flossing is a job that most of us do not relish especially first thing in the morning or just before turning in for the night and often think "I will do it tomorrow".All this changed when I used the airflosser. It is SO much easier and actually makes the process enjoyable and therefore I actually look forward to using it every day!I like to fill the tank with no-alcohol mouthwash and the fresh spring-cleaned feeling after using it is fantastic.Only one thing....the little decorative chrome cuff at the base of where you attach the "wand" came off. it is purely decorative and hasn't affected the excellent performance at all.

I have to say right from the start that I absolutely love the Sonicare Airfloss Pro! Inter-dental hygene is very important (as my dentist keeps telling me!) and it's something I make sure I do every morning and evening but it has always been a bit of a chore, taking too much time and usually quite messy. But from the very start, using the Sonicare Airfloss Pro has turned all of that on it's head! The nozzle is great, it reaches right to the back of the mouth making cleaning hard to reach wisdom teeth a dream. It delivers water or mouthwash exactly to where it is needed and afterwards my mouth feels so much cleaner and fresher than ever before, all in a fraction of the time. The whole unit is very balanced too,it's easy to hold while manoeuvring it around my mouth and the fact that you can hold down the button for automatic bursts or press and release for more control when getting the nozzle tip in place is actually very useful. All in all, the Sonicare Airfloss Pro has made all other flossing and inter-dental cleaning products redundant for me - it's Airfloss Pro all the way! Purchased 2nd Jan 2018 so had a month now of using. Also had a dental appt in between and discussed this method of flossing.. Keeping on top with daily use is not a problem but dentist did advise that frequent manual flossing should not be neglected. For me personally, there has been no pain using the product; neither inconvenience in alternating or combining electronic/manual flossing. Might want to cover below your chin with a towel to avoid splashing until you become familiar with using the product to start with. Don't forget to use a suitable and recommended electric tooth brush. Purchase also included a bottle of Philip's mouthwash but water or other suitable mouthwashes are available; however, read the instructions to not use mouthwash that contains isopropyl myristate or high concentrations of essentials oils, as it may damage the appliance. I have looked for sale of Philip's mouthwash in well known stores but as yet not been able to purchase it so use a suitable alternative, even diluted with water or just water. All in all I am pleased to have purchased this appliance.

Inter-dental cleaning has always been a pain to me, not having perfectly straight teeth means that using traditional floss or tape is difficult as I sometimes get it stuck between the teeth. I have briefly tried other brands of cleaners but found them to be cumbersome and ineffective and so quickly discarded them and carrying on the struggle with traditional floss. The Philips Airfloss, however has been a game changer for me. The small and compact design makes it easy to manoeuvre around the mouth and the well holds plenty of liquid for about 2 uses. Because it is so compact, getting it to clean between awkward, crooked teeth is easy and simple.I also like the fact that you can fill the well with water or mouthwash as I find using mouthwash gives a more cleaner feel. After using the Airfloss for the last few months I have had no problems with bleeding gums and the spaces between my teeth look and feel cleaner. I can say with some confidence that I will not be going back to regular floss and the Airfloss is here to stay! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I'm really happy with this product, I had high hopes for it and it didn't let me down. So firstly when you get it I found it so easy I didn't even read the instructions. Just filled it up and wanted to get going. I found it messy as the spray went everywhere but my teeth did feel cleaner. Using it everyday felt easy and I thought it was going to be hard for me to fit into my morning routine, as I am very busy in the morning running round after kids and getting ready, so I don't really have any time to get myself ready. But saying that I found it no problem to fit it in. Be warned please turn it off straight away as I had an accident where it sprayed the mouthwash in my eye and it hurt!Lol I found I could get away from the messy spray by closing my mouth but I prefer to keep it open as I can see where I am spraying. Overall my mouth feels cleaner and it's been so easy to do. I am really really pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone especially those who struggle with regular flossing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It took 24 hours initial charge up ,but this has lasted over 2 weeks.A nice classy design , which is about the same size as my electric toothbrush . It comes with a 2 pin plug , which isn't an issue for me as I have a shaver plug socket built into my bathroom . This would need to have an adapter for others , which could be annoying .This has a chamber to fill with water or mouthwash built into the handle ( I use mouthwash as I feel it helps keep my breath/mouth fresh ). An option of 1 , 2 or 3 pumps from the chamber is helpful . I am happy with just 1 pump , but may increase the amount if I need too.On my first couple of uses I did look like I was frothing at the mouth ,but after a few more goes I've improved my technique and don't have this problem any more . I also noticed that I produced blood in my first few tries , but after reading the Q&A 's on the leaflet I was reassured that this quite normal. It did stop after a few days and goes to show that it's helped with gum disease. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

If your looking to have a cleaner, healthier and fresher mouth this is the item to use. The airfloss is very easy to use just charge and when fully charged, all you need to do is place the nozzle between your teeth and press the button which squirts water to clear out any plaque. If you havent flossed before it will take a few days before you are able to feel the results. I have used the triple bursts of water as this is the most powerful and for me the best option, but you can change this to single or double bursts very easily by clicking a button. I would recommend that the airfloss does not replace brushing teeth or even regular normal flossing, I would recommend the airfloss in addition to all this,in order to ensure your mouth is fully cleaned and feels fresher and healthier. Only issue I have with the product is if it was possible to charge the item quicker such as a one hour but you do get several days use so you do not need to charge it regularly.
