The Oral-B PRO 650 electric toothbrush is another excellent one from the Oral B stable. At the time of writing this model has been reduced to an amazing price that you would expect to pay for the lowest basic toothbrush. My simple advice is get it while you can. This is one of the better in the range simply because it cleans by rotating and oscillating your teeth so much better and more effectively than an ordinary manual one.Simply put if you want to keep your teeth use an electric toothbrush.• Now Oral B offer ' Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back: no risk for 60 days. If you are not 100% satisfied, receive a full refund.'• So you really have no excuses NOT to try it out.• Most fair minded people would agree that with an offer like this you have nothing to loose but everything to gain? This model is a step up from the basic ones because it not only rotates but it oscillates as well.Simply put it is much, much better at getting rid of all that plaque that gives you all the problems. It is cheap for such a reliable and well designed brand. It's made in Germany and those guys and gals know how to build good tec.The brushes revolve at around 7,600 revs per minute on a strong charge and as I say earlier the oscillating head and bristles clean right between the teeth where a lot of the dental problems start. They get rid of much more plaque than manual and thus help to prevent gum disease and the dreaded Gingivitis. It's rechargeable. A cable is provided and a two pronged plug so you will need one of those adaptors.Amazon sell pretty good ones cheaply and of course you can take it with you on holiday and use one of the travel adaptor plugs. Now you will need one if you go on holiday because the batteries hold a usable charge for only 5 days. So that's two 3 min brushes twice a day for 5 days. The Pros1.You can get non Oral B replacement heads that will fit for a cheap price copies.2. It Oscillates! So that means more effective plaque removal.3 You will use less toothpaste and thus save money.and if that is not enough4 Saves you pain in the future5 Saves you the cost of high Dental Bills.6.It's Rechargeable.7. The big reduction in cost (at the time of writing8. A free sample of Oral B Toothpaste.and finally (honest)9. there is that offer ' Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back: no risk for 60 days. If you are not 100% satisfied, receive a full refund.'The NigglesNo settings for the GumsYou need an adapter to connect it to the mains.here is a link to one on Amazon.

Having used an electric toothbrush for years would not go back to a manual one. No idea whether Oral B is better than others but seem regularly on discounted prices (50%). I guess because the one it replaced was Oral B I bought another. However, I do have a gripe about the way these things are sold these days. Firstly the heavy discounting is an indicator to me that they are really not worth the list price but attract people by the apparent bargain price. This seems poor practice for a reputable company. But maybe this is the same for all of them.Secondly, everytime I buy one of these it comes with a different charger. Come on - let's have some standardisation. My wife and I both have Oral B brushes and yet we have two different chargers. Plus I could then buy the brush without the charger. And why did I need to replace it? Same for everyone I bet. Planned obsolescence. Any device that operates with a built in (and immovable) rechargeable battery has a limited lifetime. Surely it would not be beyond the limits of modern science to have a replaceable battery. But of course how much money would they make selling a battery versus a new unit. This means, IMHO, it is simply not worth buying a "smart" one (like I did before) with Bluetooth and separate timer etc etc. The weakest link in the chain is the battery. So this one is basic but was good value for money. And has the essential item - a charging light that shows it is charging up. Amazingly my wife's Oral B does not even have a charging light and so we have no way of knowing if it is charging (given the fact we have multiple chargers and so the only way to know it is compatible is to try it).

I’m completely won over by this electric toothbrush and genuinely wish I had started using it sooner. There is literally no comparison between brushing my teeth with a regular toothbrush and using this; my teeth feel a million times cleaner and it does the job in about half the time I’d spend manually brushing. In the box you get a slim lightweight handle, a charging stand and cable with a 2 pin shaver plug, a Sensi Ultra Thin brush head, and toothpaste. One of the handiest features of the set is that the handle has a battery indicator on it, so you get adequate warning when the battery is running low and can charge it; my husband’s electric toothbrush doesn’t have one and he is regularly caught short with a dead battery which he finds really frustrating. It also has a timer which vibrates every 30 seconds so you can keep track of how long you’ve been brushing which has been really handy as I get distracted with my two small kids. I have quite sensitive gums which tend to bleed with over brushing but I haven’t had this problem at all since using this brush, nor have I felt any discomfort during or after brushing. Although this comes with the Sensi Ultra Thin brush head, there are 5 other brush heads in the Oral B range that are compatible with the handle which means you have options to swap between them depending on your needs. Overall, this is fantastic value; I’d have preferred a spare toothbrush head instead of the toothpaste but it has everything to get you started and perfect for first-timers. It’s worth noting too that you will need to get a plug adaptor to charge this in a regular 3 pin socket.

I've used Oral-B electric toothbrushes for years. I find an electric toothbrush cleans my teeth much more thoroughly than a manual toothbrush with minimal effort. I like the Oral-B models as they look stylish, are functional and easy to use. I got this particular brush to replace my previous model, also an Oral-B, which had lasted for around two years. Although there is nothing massively wrong with it, it doesn't store charge for as long as it used to as the internal rechargeable battery seems to be worn down. After having been used every day for two years by myself and my partner I have no real issue with this! This particular model comes with one the main brush body, and a charger one Oral-B whitening head and a tube of whitening toothpaste. The charger is two pins so you'll need to plug it into a razor socket or by a 3-pin converter plug. As far as I know, this is pretty standard for toothpaste chargers. The main body is very pink! Not subtle pink, but proper full-on pink! It's worth bearing this in mind if it's going to be on display in your bathroom!Personally, I like the whitening toothbrush, but I am not keen on the whitening head. It is extremely large in comparison to a standard Oral-B brush head, which I will be replacing it with. I don't feel that it cleans my teeth as well because it can't get to the teeth at the back of my mouth as well. For the first three days that I used this head it made my gums bleed quite heavily.Overall, this is a fantastic brush which I would highly recommend, but I don't like the head!

This is one of the simpler electric toothbrushes from the Oral-B range, but nevertheless offers a good cleaning experience at a reasonable price. The brush has a fairly slimline handle that's quite comfortable and easy to hold, and I like the pale blue colour of the handle. The brush has only one speed of operation (no sensitive, or 'deep cleaning' modes), but this is the mode I tend to use most on more comprehensive toothbrushes. The brush heads for this system are nice and small, and get effectively into nooks and crannies in the mouth. The toothbrush has an inbuilt timer, which causes a 'juddering' at thirty second intervals to show when the correct time has been spent in each quadrant of the mouth. This is a useful guide, although I tend to find myself not having finished in one 'zone' when the timer activates, and lagging behind the guide. A full single charge doesn't quite make it through a whole week for me - but it's not far off.The brush comes with a charging base with a 2-pin plug designed to fit in a shaver point, and can safely been left on this between uses. The base seems to be a standard model for the brand, and we share it between several different brushes, rather than have an army of charger bases. There's a basic brush pad holder surround that clips on to the base and holds a couple of brush heads, if you alternate between different heads, or share a single handle between family members. The base doesn't include any kind of cover for the brush heads, and the set doesn't include a travel case.

I recently had the task of replacing my old Oral-B Pro 3000 electric toothbrush. I purchased it some six or more years ago so I was lacking details on its specifications but I believe it was pressure sensitive and possibly had more than one operating mode. When searching for an alternative I found a great offer on the Pro 650 and whilst it didn't look as feature rich as my old handle I decided to take the plunge.By comparison the Pro 650 only has one operating mode - daily clean - and there is no mention of pressure sensitivity but it still claims a 3D cleaning action (oscillates, rotates and pulsates) and comes with a handy travel case.On first use I can't claim to have noticed a difference between the old and new though. The different operating modes were arguably never used and the pressure sensitivity whilst useful I can live without (the old brush cut out if you pressed too hard) and the 3D clean is still there - in fact I think this brush might be the cheapest in the range that has 3D cleaning action as the cheaper ones have only 2D. Also the travel case will be very useful if like me you find your toothbrush vibrating in your suitcase after being accidentally turned on!In conclusion whilst the Pro 650 might be lower in the range than the current equivalent of my old Pro 3000 I certainly don't feel it lacks in performance, it looks nice in black and comes with a bonus travel case. If you're lucky enough to find it on offer like I was I don't think you'll be disappointed.

.Some years ago someone, who shall remain nameless, said that electrical toothbrushes were for lazy people who would not and could not use a manual toothbrush. However, it is very clear that they were ill informed and that electric brush cleans better than a hand held one. This is an electric toothbrush, which gives your teeth a brilliant and satisfying clean. The vibrations against your teeth are not too bad, and this unit helps to keep your gums healthy. What is a nice, and a useful feature is the fact the toothbrush will tell you if you are applying too much pressure when brushing. The changing of the brush heads once done is a simple task. You get a fair amount of time between charges, which is good if you work away from home or you’re going away for a week’s holiday – and really do not want to drag around yet another charger! The unit as whole feels well-made and robust, the toothbrush part is comfortable to hold and use. The cost of replacement heads is more than reasonable. As other reviewers have mentioned and think it is worth repeating (and you may need it when away from home), that you will need purchase a two pin plug, and you will need to either a shaving point in the bathroom or a two into three pin adapter for a regular wall socket. These highly recommend for the price, and it is no frills quality toothbrush.

Very well built, totally waterproof and cleans extremely well and nice and thoroughly. No useless features but instead everything you need and everything that actually helps is all in one well designed device. It's also very easy to clean after each use. The brush heads last long and I love how there is a large variety to choose from, each providing a good overall clean with a specific benefit. The only downside is that it takes a long time to fully charge but putting it on the charger after every use is a way around that as long as you make sure you use it until the battery goes flat once every 6 months or so as this will keep the battery working well.I like how a handy and sturdy travel case is included so you can keep your handle and brush heads safe and protected whilst traveling. It has small strips cut out for air to flow and to ensure everything is kept dry and clean. The brush handle and heads fit perfectly in the case which can hold the handle plus two brush heads - perfect for long travels so you can replace your current brush head once it's worn down. If you want a case as well as an Oral-B Pro electric toothbrush then I would recommend buying a model with the case included as opposed to buying the toothbrush and the case separately because the case is very overpriced when bought alone.

I currently consider the Oral-B toothbrushes to be the gold standard. Very well made, an entry point for everywhere and importantly you can get the brush heads easily in most places. This one is aimed at teens. The handle is well made and has a zebra print on the front that is slightly more mature than the more younger kid' ones.Theres a number of features in this and its a logical progression from the kids' one. And although it says teen anything from 6+ I would say is suitable.Right so, new features over the kids' one? Other than the size/design it includes bluetooth and a pressure indicator. The indicator is great as it gives instant feedback if you are brushing too hard. The BT function is neat and perhaps a way to keep youngsters engaged in teeth brushing, some easily overlooked/avoided by too many. Using the oral b app gives you instant feedback and a way to monitor I guess. Results are great. Theres a 2 minute timer and the included head is a soft bristle one, great for young teeth. The boost in battery over the kids one is welcome and it should easily last the week or certainly a mini break. The base is the same as all sizes really so you only need to take one on holiday with you.Overall an effective electric toothbrush.

The Oral B range of electric tooth brushes are great, I find they are all compact, charge quickly and hold their charge for long enough for more than one really good, deep clean of the teeth. I particularly like the small circular, spiraled design of brush head supplied with these, both for the feel/functionality in cleaning and for how long they last/wear, they do need to be replaced regularly but no more regularly than you should really be replacing your regular tooth brush. The difference in terms of how your clean your teeth feel after a week of brushing morning and night with one of these is discernible/noticeable when you run your tongue around your teeth, however,it will not remove the need to floss or use a tooth pick (at least this is what I have found). This is one of the most affordable versions of these brushses I've used, it stands up as well as some of the more expensive sorts, I think (as other reviewers have stated) that these other brushes (besides special features such as different sorts of lights, vibrating heads which pulse, change direction or sync with phone apps) just have higher speed motors and this does the job just as well (and better than manual brushing, with flossing and toothpicks). Recommended.

We’ve used Oral-B electric toothbrushes for many years. This is one of the more basic offerings but still highly effective. We rarely get round to using fancy brushing modes, Bluetooth connectivity, and so on. So, for us, this brush does as good a job as our current top-of-the-range Genius 9000.There are a couple of things we miss, though, and it may be worth paying a little extra to get them. The main omissions are brush head storage (especially useful if there is more than one user) and travel case. Others are things like excess-pressure warning. It does have a 4x30-seconds timer, also indicators for low charge and fully charged. You only get a single head in the box, but that’s reflected in the price. And you do get a tube of Oral-B Gum and Enamel Repair toothpaste, worth several pounds. For the current £22.99, this is something of a bargain.PS I keep reading complaints in reviews of bathroom products that they have European plugs. They don’t. They have bathroom plugs designed for safe use in UK bathrooms, just as with shavers, etc. If you don’t have a “shaver” socket in your bathroom, buy an inexpensive “shaver adapter” for use with a three-pin socket outside the bathroom.

These days some electric toothbrushes are getting very sophisticated. I am happy to say that this Oral-B Pro 650 is not one of them. It is fairly basic - and none the worse for that. It charges overnight and holds its charge for at least a week and there is an indicator light to show when fully charged. The brushing motion is efficient and effective as expected from Oral-B products. The motor has an automatic cut-off after two minutes for those people who can't remember to stop cleaning their teeth and a sensor light to let you know if you are putting too much pressure on the brush head during cleaning. Just one brush head is included in the pack.- a 3D White although other types are available. The toothbrush comes with a one year guarantee. The pack also includes a tube of toothpaste which claims to remove up to 90% of surface stains in three days and protect from future stains. After using for a few days I can't say I have noticed any visible difference but the toothpaste is pleasant to use and leaves my teeth feeling clean and shiny. An electric toothbrush in pretty pink will not be to everyone's taste but I really like it!An excellent product at a really good price.

Oral B are a very reliable brand - I have been using them for a long time and if you are lucky you can get about four years' life out of them. This is a basic entry level electric toothbrush - with the basic engine power which is still quite fast and strong enough to clean your teeth. So it is good for children and for anyone who like me has been encouraged by their dentist to move away from a manual toothbrush or a battery operated toothbrush. There are more powerful toothbrushes in this range and Oral B sell more powerful toothbrushes with more gadgets for up to £100 or more. If you want a slightly better one but are nervous about paying the prices, look out for pre Christmas price reductions online or in big pharmacies. This basic option comes with two 'cross action' brush heads which are good for general cleaning and better than old style standard electric toothbrush heads. But if you want better action cleaning out small bits between your teeth, after eating seeds or porridge for instance, I would recommend you trying one of Oral B's 'floss action' brush heads which I find highly effective on my middle aged teeth and gums.

Great value electric toothbrushHas a 2 minute timer with beeps every 30 seconds, which Is helpful for timings for equal spread across the mouth. I quite like the big LEDs which tell you when to recharge, but then again I just recharged the old one when it started going slower. It came with a free hard plastic travel case which also holds 2 heads, but not the charger. However The case trebles the size of the toothbrush though. The battery doesnt last a huge amount of time, which is disappointing as the old one lasted 3 weeks when it was new.It cleans very well, but not better than my old one (with the standard heads) which wasn't 'Cross Action' or '3D'. How many names your toothbrush have?In the end the choice of toothpaste probably makes more difference to your teeth than whether your toothrush is a Pro Turbo CrossAction 4WD. This one has even a Pro Timer. Thank goodness it doesn't just have a timer. That would be SO last year. Oral B really should have put the word Sport in the action list though,Still, it is a good value electric toothbrush for the price!

From the budget end of the electric toothbrush selection comes this offering from Oral-B the Pro 650.Unusually for a toothbrush this item has a black front moulding which contrasts strongly with the rest of the white body.Just below the top of the brush is the power on/off button and toward the base are two indicator lights the top showing the battery state and the bottom one indicating when the brush is charging. The brush comes with the normal inductive charger so there is no direct connection meaning less chance of electric shocks in a damp bathroom and the charger is small enough to pack away in a suitcase when you take your toothbrush on holiday. The round brush head rotates and oscillates when in use and I found it to leave my teeth clean and fresh tasting. The brush indicates when you have reached the recommended 2 minute brushing time.As a little bonus this brush also comes with a 75ml trail tube of Oral-B Pro Expert toothpaste. Everything gratefully accepted.Overall I don't think you can go wrong with this toothbrush at the price.
