These are not cheap but excellent quality, solid and versatile. I've used 2 of these as bed lamps and if my partner falls asleep and leaves hers on, I can tell Alexa to turn it off - "joy". I have seen brighter LED GU10s but for our use these are ideal and rarely on full brightness. Easy to fit (If you can replace a ceiling rose then no problem but they do need a torx screwdriver to unscrew the internal connection box) and the wireless remotes (included) can be fitted anywhere without the need for wires. The bulbs swivel and tilt inside the units so you can direct the light. As with most LEDs, there is very little heat generated and you can touch these bulbs and lights after they have been on for a while.The remotes for both lights worked out of the box without any configuration (

I got this light for the entrance of my bedroom. The finish is of a high quality and there are 4 light settings to choose from, as with the Philips ceiling lights (which I also have as the main light). The light emitted is not particularly bright, so would not recommend as the main light. Okay for an entrance/porch, though. Set-up as with other Hue products was quick and easy. Does not come with a dimmer switch.

Brilliant Philips Hue light. Fits in perfectly with the rest of my Hue ecosystem and aesthetically works beautifully in my daughter’s room above her desk - perfect for studying/working. The lamp is also really well made. Highly recommended.
