This is one of those lamps that makes you think of all the million things that can go wrong and, thus, persuade you out of buying it. It's a very light paper shade on a very narrow upright stand with a very tempting foot-switch (that you're meant to tap with your toe, but try telling that to any child!).However, I bought it for my upstairs landing and have really loved it ever since we first switched it on.The paper shade gives a lovely, soft, diffuse light (though still easily bright enough for climbing stairs, even with a low-power bulb) and was very easy to fit, turning out to be far more robust than anticipated.

This Ikea floor lamp is absolutely spot on for the money and it’s definitely worth £12 it’s really easy to assemble it takes about 2 mins and for something so light and made of mostly paper it’s quite sturdy too it looks great up both on and off and is exactly what I was looking for you will need to get a (E27) bulb separately as one is not included but other than that it’s good to go straight out of the box it’s well packaged and fast dispatch and delivery with prime I highly recommend

Really good lamp. Easy to assemble (and I'm terrible to assemble Ikea items). Provides enough light, not as a day light in winter I suppose, to light the whole room and I'm using not the most luminous bulb. Perfect to save some electricity during the evening. The floor button is amazing, just press with the foot to switch it on and off. I'm really satisifed. Original Ikea product.

You can get this nice little lamp from Ikea for a little cheaper but their p&p doubled the price. So when I saw it on Amazon, it was a no-brainer.It's a great lamp, easy to assemble and works perfectly. I particularly like the foot switch and it fits well with the rest of the decor in the living room.I like it so much, I may get another one in the near future.

I love this lamp.The lamp is very delicate though, so maybe keep it away from the kids and pets but it's really effective and gives a lovely glow to the room.I use mine with a colour changing bulb so the rice paper is absolutely perfect for it as it allows all the colours to shine through.Creates a lovely atmosphere.Recommended.

Obviously it's paper, so definitely not the lamp to have around kids/pets. But if you're like me, with no kids or pets it's perfect! Easy to turn on with your foot as the switch is on the floor, and really warm nice light, enough for it to be relaxing and also make the room well lit. Definitely value for money, I'll be buying more!

Can't go wrong with an Ikea lamp! This was bought for a studio apartment and is small enough to sit discreetly in the corner but give out good light. I've the turn on/turn off switch you can stand on with your foot.Don't forget to order it's special bulbs when ordering the lamp (also available from amazon)

I was very happy to receive this lamp so quickly. It set up easily and the base is quite heavy so I feel it is sturdy enough. I like that it is not too big as I have a small space, and it's easy to change the bulb. The Lamp also works great and with this price, what is there to possibly complain about?

This lamp is very good value for money given how large it is, but it is a bit fiddly to put together and can be a bit wobbly - any slight touch and it stops standing up straight. It's definitely worth buying but it needs to be placed somewhere in your room where it won't get knocked.

Great light comes in a small box and requires a little assembly - but then it is ikea! Comes with a switch midway through the power lead which is a really useful feature. Only negative that I would say is that it is a little short for a floor lamp, other than its fantastic.

The lamp was easy to assemble after reading the instructions and certainly value for money too. I would and am going to purchase the same lamp for other rooms which will give the same lighting in my surroundings creating a lovely atmosphere in my home which I want. Bless

Great little lamp, looks more expensive that it actually was. Took a couple of minutes to assemble, and does exactly what it's supposed to do, can't really moan at that. Was also delivered extremely quickly, arrived 2 days after ordering it with free standard delivery.

Lovely standing lamp for the lounge. Easy to assemble, as you'd expect from Ikea.It was a little smaller than expected, but I'm sure it is true to its measurements!Very easy to use with a handy floor switch, the shade diffuses light for a nice glow.

easy enough to pop together. Just remember it doesn't come with a bulb so you have to order one separately. Be careful of the size. This is an ikea product so will have ikea size bulbs! I ordered the colour changing Philips one which is great.

I've had this lamp for two years and it's still going strong. It's cheap and cheerful but not trashy as the price may reflect. If it dies a death or the shade tears I would immediately buy another one as it's quite a stylish looking thing too.
