An excellent, solid lamp. We have young kittens (black) who now in these darker mornings/evenings have set in are hard to see when lights are not on so wanted a couple of lamps to set with timers so they could come on and give enough light in the hallway and lounge to see them but did not want a big spend. These are spot on. There was an offer for a blue and a pink lamp plus bulbs, I did not take up this offer as I did not want a pink lamp. Ordered two blue and the bulbs advertised with them. So I was rather annoyed to get the lamps and find that the bulb size is E14 candle as stated on the lamp box and not the E27 bulbs that show with the twin lamp offer on Amazon's site.

Since having a bad knee it was an extra trip out of bed at night to turn off the light after reading. I needed a little lamp by the bed. This was very cute when it arrived and I love pink. I bought a bulb for it and it does the job nicely. When I finish reading and am ready to sleep I just click the switch on it and my knees are happy. Only one negative thing to say, when I recently went down to the market I saw it £5 cheaper.Well I am editing my review now and giving 3 stars instead of my original 5. This lamp hardly lasted about a year before it stopped working properly and now I am having to replace it because at the price it would be cheaper to just buy another.

I bought this light for my study desk, I am happy with it, it gives me good light and is sturdy enough so does not fall easily! The only disadvantage is that it gets hot, which is not a problem for me, because my study room is out of my son's reach, but you have to watch out if children are close to where you use it! I bought a halogen bulb for it and I think it's giving me brighter light, most of the time I study at night and this light is good for me, because the light in my study room is one of those energy saving ones which is yellow and not good for late night studying! I also am happy with the choice I've made about the colour, I think the white one is the best!

This is a fantastic lamp in my opinion. A very simple product, but nevertheless, a very good one. The lamp arrived in a cardboard box & was very well packaged. After removing the packaging, I inspected the lamp and found that it was a sturdy & well-built product - not necessarily what you might expect given the price tag. Aesthetically, it is very pleasing - I ordered the blue coloured version of this lamp and it looks great!The lamp uses an E27 (Edison Screw) type bulb with a maximum wattage of 40. This is a relatively common bulb type to get hold of, which is a bonus. I have only used low energy lamps with this product and I have found the lamp assembly to be slightly too small for these types of bulbs.

This is a truly life changing invention no doubt back engineered from crashed or captured alien spacecraft. They come in various colours, I picked blue to go with the colour of my wife. There is a switch on it with a glyph icon saying I and O. If you set it to the I position a beam of light comes out and if you set it to the O position it goes off again. No doubt invented to solve the problem of it being too dark. You can point it in various directions (i.e. at the darkness). It takes a small screw thread bulb (buy one, it doesn't come with the light shining device). Aliens are amazing. Thanks aliens, for helping mankind. With darkness removal technology. I mean it.

I bought 3 of these for use with Philips Hue wifi enabled led bulbs - currently only sold by the Apple Store.These lamps work perfectly with the bulbs which are ES27 screw fit. I currently have 3 in the lounge where the lamps are not actually seen. For example, 2 sit behind the TV pointing at the wall. I plan to move one to the bedroom to be used as a conventional reding lamp..People need to be aware the lamps do not come with bulbs but that was fine for me as I bought them specifically to use with the Hue bulbs. The lamps do of course also work with conventional ES27 bulbs.John.

I was looking for a “retro” bedside lamp, which would take a non LED bulb (I don’t like the white light from LEDs) and just have a very simple on/off switch. This is perfect!It weighs a reassuring amount, doesn’t slip or slide around on the desk, the neck is very easily moveable to the position you need, and it will accept many different styles of bulb (small screw fitting)Looks great, very functional, perhaps a little bit expensive (I paid over £14 for a blue one)

i got one for my bedroom, its great! i would say the height stood up straight would be from your hand to your elbow size.. the downside of this product is that it did not come with a bulb:/ for those wondering what size to get its a ''E27 MAX 40W GLS'' So i would suggest getting the bulb in advance. it came within 2 days and its brightness is not blinding but a sensible amount of light, good for reading in bed etc:) 10/10 for what it is, also comes with instructions.

The Lloytron Flexi Desk Lamp is a great little lamp. I actually bought it as a bedside lamp in our spare room as the person who uses the room the most is used to this style of lamp with a switch on the base. It's compact but gives an amazing amount of light. I use a 7w energy-saving bulb and the two together give as much light as a much larger lamp with a 100w bulb. Although it's light-weight with a small base it's also very stable.

It's a cheap lamp, it does the job.......Bought two of these for use with my light tent, when they arrived I checked the fitting and bought 2x 15w cfl bulbs from Wilkinsons, so each lamp has cost me less than £10.Definitely use cfl bulbs if you want more light, I suspect some people have been fitting 60w (or bigger) bulbs, which is only going to result in problems as the wiring and switch are rated for 40w maximum.

This is a neat-looking lamp which is the perfect size for smaller to medium-sized desks. Does what is says, and the price is very good in my opinion. I like that it is flexible, so that you can direct the light where you want it to go. The switch is right on the base- unlike other lamps where you have to search for the switch on the cord. It doesn't come with a bulb however, but the bulbs for it are easy to find.

i love this lamp. it sits easily on my bedside table. it is great that the switch for it in actually on the base-so no more fumbling in the dark to turn it on. it is sturdy.i like the colour (blue).i have just moved flats and it seems to be very hard to find lamps that look attractive but do the job as well. this would be too small for a sittingroom-but it is great for your bedside table, or for a desk.

These lamps are cheap but very well made. I have two and purchased this one to replace one that was 11 years old and was in use most days.It should be clearer they come without a bulb. Thought I understand why, we all want or need different levels of light so bulb size is a personal preference and this is another reason I like these lamps, your not stuck with a fixed light level like most LED's.

I ordered this desk lamp and it is absolutely fine. Does what it says on the tin. However, there is a bulb advertised with this item, being an E27. This is not the bulb required with this item, as it clearly states on the ,amp when unpacked. It should, in fact, be an E14. Hope no one else fell into this trap!I did inform Amazon, but they are still advertising the wrong bulb.

It definitely helps me study. I use it to read my text books while studying or taking notes, in the night time, this desk lamp is definitely better than the ceiling light. However I thought the black part could extend a little bit more so that I wouldn't have to put the lamp right next to my books because if I put it up the light bulb flashes in my eyes too much (28Watts).
