It took a while for it to be picked up by the Hue app. Like two different people swearing at their phones. Eventually it did it.The hallways and kitchen have sensors, so they go on automatically. It was frustrating at times having to voice control the living room over the tv noise. The bulb groups are divided into 3 ‘rooms’ . Button one will turn them all off (or the individual groups that are on).Button 2 does table, Button 3 sofa area, Button 4 the lights along the wall, currently set to a single scene. If I want to change the brightness or the scene, I need to use voice or the app.It was extremely easy once it registered the switch. I flirted with setting up zones, but they currently aren’t supported

This is a really good switch once you figure out how to use it.I can see how a lot of people have problems with this switch. My main piece of advice is to think about how it works. It needs movement to work. When you press the 3 separate buttons, you also need to press hard enough to depress the larger button. It does work, but you need to get your head around that first.Press the number you require and press harder until you hear the click.Got mine linked and setup in minutes. (Once I'd figured out the pressing harder part!)

Actually setting this up with the Hue Hub is very easy, getting it to work as described can be another matter. It will turn the light on and off and mostly remember the 'scenes' I pre set. However, it likes to turn itself back on again at full light for no reason, and it is hard to stop it. The instructions from Philips are useless and finding a decent instruction manual equally problematic. This switch is ridiculously expensive for what it is and does, but Argos was the cheapest I found.

It is as described, but it would have been better if it can turn individual lamps on and off while the other lamps turned to the opposite state when I have multiple lamps linked to it.

Read the instructions carefully and especially understand the part on conetic energy to grasp how the switch works and it is very simple to use.

Super cool, makes switching scenes a lot easier than using phone or voice commands. I've gone full circle on the smart bulbs :-)
