I bought my first Hue Dimmer Switch after having used my Hue lights with just my phone for several months. It was the numerous occasions entering a room and realising I didn’t have my phone with me that prompted me to buy it. It works brilliantly simply, is wireless & portable but can be docked magnetically in its wall holder, has 5 settings that can be programmed exactly to my requirements, can dim or brighten infinitely and is a glossy attractive white colour. I have since bought one for every room that doesn’t have a Hue movement sensor.

Great switch. It’s magnetic or you can stick it on with the sticker strips that are on the back of the plate. It comes in 2 parts, you can take the smaller part off the faceplate which is held on by magnets. It comes off like a small remote you can take around if you want. It can also be linked to control up to 2 rooms at the same time. I have Alexa to control my lights, but it’s nice to have this beside the bed for when I need to be quiet and not talk to the Echo. Please put them on offer :)

I wasn’t 100% sure how these worked. You need the hue bridge (and some hue bulbs obviously) - once you have them you’re good to go with these switches.They stick (or can be screwed) to the wall. The switch detaches from the plate easily (has a magnetic back) and can be used like a portable remote. Has a CR2450 battery which seems easy to replace.Once it’s installed you set it up via the hue app - which takes no time. Assign it to a room and program in upto 5 scenes to cycle through.

These are the future and I will not be surprised if they replace bulky wiring in the near future. The switch is extremely reliable and works everytime. It has a very good feedback dual LED. Its been an year and the battery is still great (Zigbee).The detachable module is very lightweight but at the same time, very handy and elegant to hold. The buttons are tactile as well. The ON button can be programmed to change colors ! I really recommend this switch and its well worth every penny.

This Hue remote switch is simple but effective. Use it on its own to control Hue lighing by dimming and changing the preprogrammed recipes. But to get the most out of it program it via your Hue hub to allow you to bring up your favourites at the touch of a button. The holders are easy to attach to the wall and as the remote is held in place by magnets it’s easy to detach and have on hand for adjustments without a phone or tablet. If you have Hue lighting these little switches are a must.

I wasn’t sure whether I wanted the dimmer or the tap switch and I’m really pleased I went with this one. You still get the option of different scenes even though you have to cycle through instead of press the one button, but you can also dim and brighten from those scenes. It’s so much better because we still like having manual controls for lights most of the time and it increases the number of people who can control them instead of just relying on a phone or talking to our dot

It's great for those times when you don't want to have to speak to a smart assistant or get your phone out to control the lights. With a few buttons you can pretty easily access most of the features of you smart lights. The buttons are customisable as well, so you can use it however you want it.It looks OK - it would be nice if they did a more premium version, like in a metal finish for example. The magnetic mount is a bonus, and self adhesive pads work well otherwise.

This is the standard dimmer switch for Hue. It is easy to stick on your wall (double sided tape already on the product) and looks nice, minimal. On and off are easy to use, and there are up and down controls for light level. When you get into Hue you realise that many more things are possible (like setting the colour temperature for Ambience bulbs) so the only thing I wish it had is a sort of "custom" button so that you might be able to iterate through pre-set modes.

Having purchased 6 of these to go in the various rooms in the house, I'm am pretty satisfied with the performance. Although connection to the Philips Hue Hub does drop out from time to time. Easy to stick on the wall, comes with batteries and a magnet holds the remote control part to the faceplate - so very easy to take out or put in. It can be programmed to have 5 different functions and control the lights in more than one room.

Do you end up with a sore throat and loose you voice shouting at Alexa well you need this. It's a battery operated Philip hue switch and dimmer. Stick to the wall after peeling back the cover on the two sticky pads and your sorted. No electrition needed just remove battery tab stick to wall and configure with the hue app. The buttons even come out so you can control the lights from you're sofa without shouting at Alexa.

Needs an existing Hue Hub and Hue Lights - this is an accessory for an existing setup.Out of the box, once paired with a room will switch that room's lights on / off and dim up / down. Using additional software (not supplied) the buttons can also be programmed to trigger 'scenes' using single-press, double-press and long-press.Have found it 99% reliable, but once is a while a button press is not recognised.

Needed to create a system where a light in the landing could be controlled from a switch upstairs and downstairs, the traditional layout. Rather than expensive electric wiring being installed from scratch, two of these dimmer switches and one Hue bulb work perfectly to give the same result, and only minutes to install - great system. No Hue bridge is needed for this simple functionality which is a bonus.

I bought this as we have the hue light bulbs in our new house.We are having some rewiring done, and these switches mean we don't have to wire up any light bulbs! They work brilliantly and connected easily to the bulbs etc. They look good on the wall too! The delivery was very fast as well, we ordered it at 9pm one evening and the delivery man arrived at the door at 7.30am the very next day!!

Control how your Hue Lights works from one single handheld unit. You cantrol all your lights as a whole, or a small number of lights as individual. The Hue Dimmer has saved me so much time considering Alexa only handles one command at a time, you can do everything at once with just one Dimmer.If you have a Hue System, the Hue Dimmer should be on top of your list for purchase.

Brought one of these to add to my smart light setup. The setup with the app is so easy. Pull out the little plastic tab and the app will find the remote then just tell it which bulbs to control and that’s it. Comes with a plate that you can mount to the wall and you can program the remote buttons to do different things. A lot of potential for a small price. Well worth it.
