We were looking specifically for black matte face plates. Tried two other brands - unfortunately, both looked very flimsy, tacky and cheap, the quality of plastic was poor. With Knightsbridge - it is exactly as it should be: they are well built, look and feel stylish and sleek, the quality of plastic is impressive, the switch action is solid and very satisfying.When researching, we've read some reviews online that said that, being screwless, these face plates bent and wouldn't fit onto the backing boxes once removed. We've got around 15 different face plates by Knightsbridge, and we have found that they work absolutely fine: they don't bend and fit perfectly.

I always wanted an electric shaver socket and yes I know it would be easy to install but I never got around to doing it like many things. So we had a new bathroom installed from scratch and I thought now would be a great time to get one installed and the bathroom installer was kind enough to do it for us.I went for some black and sleek that didn't show the screws and now all the family are over the moon as they can use there electric toothbrushes as well.You will need to buy the back box which it mounts to however and it has to be 47mm of depth.Great Job and worth the money

Nice flush polished gold/brass switch. Like that screws are hidden and found it very easy to install. (Just remember to isolate the switch at the fuse box) Sturdy clips secure the shiny faceplate. Thin screw driver would be needed to remove the metal plate as there are two notches that cannot easily be seen where a flat screwdriver place can be pushed and twisted to remove the plate. Will really show finger prints, but as being used with smart bulbs it won’t really get much use as will just be left switched on.I have now ordered a second switch for the sitting room.

Really disappointed with our shaved socket - we’ve opened the packet and it looks used - it’s got a scratch but also very smudged front. Unfortunately we’ve not got time to order a replacement from elsewhere or request an exchange as our electrician is currently on site.UPDATE:Simon from Knightsbridge quickly got in contact with us and arranged super fast delivery of a replacement shaver front - we're so happy with the look of the product, however have noticed like another commenter that with a 240 output there is a slight hum - not the end of the world though!

Gotta say, these are absolutely gorgeous!. they are really easy to fit, great price! but i had to knock off 1 star for the tactile "click" of the switch. the activation force is quite high for a light switch so you need a bit more pressure to turn it on/off than you might think. total non issue to 99% of people for if you have thin walls between you and your neighbour, they're gonna hear them clicking on their side! (no joke. out neighbours thought we were tapping our walls for some god unknown reason Ha!).

I love this product. Very stylishly made with a beautiful and expensive looking finish. I had to return this product but only because my electrician said that it could replace it with a working 3-pin socket. So I purchased the 3-pin from same company and it looks great in the living room and gives the place a more mordern look than the chrome fittings that I had before. Also very easy to fit with clear instructions - did it myself as I couldn't wait for my electrician to come back around.

Fitted this this morning in our bedroom- very happy with it- easy to install and looks amazing.Only criticism is of the packaging- i also ordered 3 sockets with the order, two of them here slightly scuffed as the packaging was only a flimsy plastic bag. My guess is that they rattled around in the parcel and scuffed eachother in transit- which would have been avoidable with better packaging.Overall though- the lightswitch looks awesome!

These really do look the business. I ordered about £200 worth of switches, dimmers and plugs from knightsbridge all in matt black. Everything came quickly, was installed easily and is working great. No problems with the USB outlets. The only slight criticism is that the plug holes are a bit tight on some of mine so you do have to tug the plug out. They are brand new though so hopefully they will ease up over time and with use.

We ordered this to go with some other switches we had just installed as they didn't have the light on which these do. I was worried that it would look odd as it had to be placed alongside the other one and right up against it. Although it's not exactly the same it doesn't look out of place. The finish is really shiny and it looks really good. The feel is really solid would definitely recommend.

Nice and robust finish, unlike some other matt black (which scratches easily) this one just has a light lacquer to protect them but not glossy which still goes well with my matt black kitchen white quartz worktop. Unlike my nexus matt black sockets by BG, these one seems v well made and resist well to my builders blunt force. And my matt black ones r already showing some minor scratches.

it feels sturdy, nice to touch and classy but best of all it dims perfectly my led dimmable bulbs, I have a set of 7 bulbs main bedroom and 2 in en suite, all 7W each and am very pleased with the level of dimming, it can be adjusted but I found it ok from the box no need to tweak, no buzzing noise as well..It fitted well in the box I had no need to change anything just wiring..

Fantastic & as described!I know some have raised issues with the screws, however these were exactly the same size of the existing ones from the old so think this depends on the wiring in your house, seem pretty standard.Easy to fit & work & lool superb. Well worth the money and better than what B&Q etc are offering as an option.

Quite a nice product. But trying to fit it was a lot harder due to it being "screw less" when there are, quite a few screws, it is of course screwless front. Too be honest, next time I think I will go with screws again!But it looks nice, works and was the cheapest one of this type I could find! So marks for that!

'FUSED' logo is wrong way around so its upside down when installed, not a matter of taking it out and reversing it as its a moulded guard and won't fit any other way.. Yes i've installed it correctly as the TOP is at top as is the neon and switch is correct for on and off orientation.

Fab 5⭐ Knightsbridge SF3000PB All Gold Double Light Switch. This looks great and I am very happy with it, it is very unusual being all gold (even the switches) and with no screws visible, a great sleek design and I would highly recommend buying it.
