I’m a single user so it was very easy to set up. So I’m commenting from this point of view.Very easy to set up and connect to google assistant. I added a new device and had to look how to get that onto google assistant but now I know real easy. It’s great that I can ask for light on or turn them on with my phone or iPad. I can adjust lights without leaving my seat asking google to dim them or using the app on my phone.I have a switch for the bedside light and that allows me to control the lights manually. I plan to get another switch to allow me to do this for the room lights.On the whole great lights.

I have a modest property. My problem is that perhaps i am more imaganative using Philps Hue contrllers and Lights than they anticipated. I now operate two hue Bridge to satisfy my needs. This begs the question that current Hue bridge falls short of real users needs. I have had reviews rejected by Philips because they do not want negative feed back. I consider Philips are mistaken, the product great, just has to move forward in the light of experience. I am happy it is a learning experience. I also use Apple HomeKit on iPhone and ipad shared with Family and Friends

Hue is a pricey lighting system and not fully developed, for example, there are no Hue striplights for kitchens, but, in practice it's only needed for living rooms and bedrooms. Overall, combined with Amazon Alexa, we're enjoying it. We've tried three non-Hue equivalents but Philips does it best - the brightest lights with the best dimming ability.

Pros: The number of products that can be linked up is amazing.Cons: It's another hub. There are so many products out there that need another piece of equipment in order to function is annoying. People who already have an alexa or Google home hub would prefer not to add another hub to their existing setup.

this product is much better then there first round one and is much much faster easy to setup and is well worth the money once you have the philips hue hub and you buy the philips hue bulbs esp the coloured bulbs there is many scenes and thing you can do with them worth every penny

Purchased this last month alongside other Philips Hue tech as this is an essential part of the setup if you want to control it via your phone, smart speakers or smart home. Slightly on the expensive side but can’t go without. Easy to setup.

Brrought this 2 weeks in conjunction with the amazon echo and philps hue light bulbs. Gives your home the futureistic feel and impress guest. Would highly recomend. The colours will keep any one entertained.

Had to buy this when I bought echo dot and smart light bulb. I was a bit miffed having to spend more, but it does work okay with a single light. As we get more devices I hope it will be able to cope.

I bought this recently with the hue light bulbs, so pleased I did. It's great value for money and works brilliantly. It's also easy to setup. I would definitely recommend it.

Bought the hue bloom and bridge, brilliant, fantastic for music and relaxing, plenty of apps that can be downloaded from Google play will lots of combinations for lighting

At last! A remote lighting system that works a treat. Made the mistake before buying Osram Lightify. Ok when it worked, but many issues of failure. Not with my mate Hue.

Works well and makes lights more dependable, be careful as some come with an EU adapter only and doesn’t automatically come with UK adapter as expected.

Excellent price, good bargain and nothing wrong with it as it is new, just a tad damage to the box but that goes in the bin anyway..

Very easy to set-up. Had the first generation at first, and made the switch to the 2.0. Noticable differences, mainly in the speed.

Great lighting (used for kitchen), controls all the light strips installed in seconds and app easy to use. Highly recommended *****
