We’ve got this to use in a small annex in which we’ve got AC installed, and after a couple of days it seems to be working really well. This is pleasing, as Tado is a make I’ve not come across before.It was easy to install and seems to work well (we are using it with Alexa). We’ve noticed that the actual AC sometimes seems to lag, so if you change a setting on your phone then it can take a few seconds for your AC unit to adjust) but that’s not a problem once you’re used to it; it’s just that at first you do have a few seconds when you think it might not be working. Pleased with this.

We’ve got this wall mounted although you can just have it placed on top of a counter or shelf. The only thing about wall mounting it is you do have a USB cable trailing from it. We’ve got it hooked up through Apple HomeKit and after an update it’s ready to go. The app is straightforward to use and our AC unit was listed on it so set up was pretty straightforward. One thing we’ve notice is that changes don’t necessarily take place instantly but they will eventually go through. Overall pretty happy.

My Smart AC controller arrived today and installation of the device on the app was not completing. The problem was that the the controller could not be installed on the app using iOS. That problem has now been resolved and I have been able to fully install the controller. It works well and will be very useful when returning home on hot days to cool down the home before arrival. Great to have heating (radiators) and cooling with AC all controllable remotely with the app.

This little GEM works a treat on my Toshiba air con, no more worrying that it's been left on, simply check the APP. However don't use the remote that came with the unit as the Taco unit doesn't receive it only transmits a signal, so stick it in a drawer and don't use it. I've had no issues with it. switch it to my desired temp for a set time and set the schedule on a base temp so once the timer runs out the unit reverts back to whatever setting you want to leave it on,

Works great. I already had one from before. That was awkward to set up and I needed a lot of help from support to get it working properly-they were great though. These next three were super easy to set up once I knew what to avoid doing wrong. Can talk to my air conditioner via Siri now-although for full functionality and options (fan speed-swing-dry mode) I need to go via tado app. I guess that limitation is Apple’s area to improve upon.

I bought these to upgrade my current Tado AC controls for the HomeKit functionality. They are easy to install and work amazingly! Luckily i have grandfathered rights to the Auto Assist features from being a long time user, however I dont hints the subscription model is worth the price for new buyers. Although the V2 model is more expensive as it doesn’t require a subscription, I would but the V2 if you dont want to pay a subscription.

I did look at other AC remote controls and the tado one was £30 cheaper so I bought one to give it a try, this was my first Tado device and it’s very easy to setup and configure due to the tados intuitive interface.This now allows me to remotely control my heating/cooling air conditioner from my phone which is just perfect for my gym which is remote from the house.Would definitely recommend this product.

This is an amazing product . and the installation was so fast... I was a bit scared as my a/c are from the Philippines but they were all recognized immediately.Just one bad point, the usage on the remote itself (so not with siri / tado app) is not easy at all... the touch screen is not responsive enough and the navigation is hard.

I initially had trouble getting the app to complete the setup. I think I kept re-trying for close to an hour. Once that was done, teaching the remote to control my portable AC was quick, and controlling the AC works perfectly. I've been able to turn on the AC when I'm returning home, and I arrive at a nicely cooled home.

I use the latest version of Android and the installation of the App was very easy. It was set up, installed and fully working within 15 minutes. We use the system in the conservatory and so far I cannot complain. The Air Con is fully controllable and all have worked very well. I am happy to Recommend this unit.

Excelent controller, easy to install, setup and get up and running.However, homekit integration is a bit lackluster, and in both homekit gadget and standalone app, there are some glaring features missing, like ability to set swing on ac, and fan only mode, etc...

One of the things I noticed with the iOS app is that it notifies you that you are out of the home radius (GEOFENCING) so it shows a notification but there is no option to switch to AWAY mode. You have to open the app to be able to set it.

Works great with Apple Homekit, however room humidity doesn't show up in the main homekit icon/button.- You'll need to allow a few minutes for firmware update during setup.- USB cable should be a bit thinner for the perfect wall mount.

So far so good, it works perfectly with Alexa. I tried installing it thru IOS but it didn't work, switched to Android and the installation was a breeze. Don't understand what happened, but it is working fine.
