Pure MagicI mentioned to an 80 years old lady, out walking her newly acquired 12 years old rescue dog, that her dogs’ harness looked as though it had been put on wrong. Although her dog didn’t pull too much, she told me that her vet had recommended it to make walking easier, and she explained how it works. I was intrigued. I have back and hip problems, and two strong dogs, so even the slightest pull causes me a lot of pain.I ordered two of these harnesses as soon as I got home, after carefully measuring both dogs as advised. Although my 12 months old Frenchie looks smaller than my 7 years old Staffy, they virtually measure the same in girth and length. So I ordered Medium for each of them on the basis that the immature Frenchie will fill out quite a bit in the next year. The minute they arrived, I fitted each harness (I was impressed that the clasps are slightly curved for the dogs’ comfort), and out we went (each dog always walks on their own side of me). I could hardly believe it. From the second we got out of the door, there wasn’t a hint of pulling from either dog - both of them walked beside me with slack leads. I was over the moon. However, since then, each of them has ‘tested’ their harness, just once - suddenly lunging forward without warning. The Frenchie did it first, pulling with such force that she turned into my leg, and flipped (unhurt) onto her back. She hasn’t done it since! A few days later the Staffy did almost the same, and surprised herself so much that she also hasn’t done it since.I truly never believed that such a simple harness could give such brilliant results. Correct measuring of the dog, and fitting the harness as per the instructions, is vital for success. Fitted correctly, these harnesses do not harm the dogs in any way. My Staffy has alopecia and is virtually bald, yet it has not rubbed her skin sore under her arms. Unfortunately the Frenchie disappeared into dense brambles a week or so ago, and emerged minus her harness. Unable to find it, I have bought her another one but, this time, I ordered a Small/Medium which is a much better fit on her. I love these Easy Walk harnesses so much that I have recommended them to numerous people on our walks because, true to name, they certainly make our walks easy.Note: The ‘underneath’ contrast strap is designed to make putting the harness on the dog much easier, and to make sure it is on correctly. My only negative comment is that I do not like the burgundy contrast strap on my red harness as it is not a ‘different’ enough colour. It should have been black, or grey like most of the other harnesses. Had I known this I would have chosen a different colour harness.

This time yesterday I was pouring through reviews of this and other anti-pull harnesses. Decided on this one, ordered, they were here by 11am. We've just been for our first stress-free, undragged, happiest walk in months.I've got two gorgeous girls, a Golden Retriever and a Lab/Retriever cross. Both walk beautifully on their own but the Lab turns into a head-down, must be in front, powerhouse of a carthouse dragging me along like she's pulling a dray, when I walk them together. Which means the GR wants to keep up and I'm being hauled along by over 60kg of girlie beasts.Like others, I've been through many so-called anti-pull devices ... Halti head collars, GenCon head collars, Halti body harness, and more. Once I understood the concept of the Easy Walk harness, ie, the dog can't pull against you because you're leading her from the chest ring, it all made sense and all that remained was for me to choose between this harness, and the Rabbitgoo. This won, based on Amazon reviews, and price. The head collars worked for a while, but then backfired because the carthorse kept stopping every five yards to try and paw the thing off her face, she REALLY didn't want to wear it, and I'm talking about over a good few weeks, she never got used to it and to be honest I found it quite distressing watching her. The latest harness just gave them both extra pulling power and did absolutely nothing to stop them dragging me. It had got to the point where I was driving them to the beach so they could run without me having to walk them, I had to will myself to take them out every day.The harness comes with a well written and precise fitting guide. It took about five minutes to get them fitted properly first time on, which I did as soon as they arrived, let them wear the harnesses around the house for a bit, neither seemed at all bothered by them. So this afternoon they wore them for a short walk to the car and into the beauty parlour for a nail trim, I was actually laughing out loud at how well they behaved. I was so impressed that when I got them home we didn't even go inside, we went for a long walk round the busy noisy streets and they behaved beautifully. There wasn't even an attempt at a pull, and the Lab's head-down, charging-forward tug became a head-up jaunty skip, a completely different dog. I actually walked 62kg of beast with one hand and a smile on my face.Be convinced! This works!

I don't very often leave reviews, however on this occasion I felt that I have to. This harness is unbelievable I have a 6 mth old White GSD she was perfect at heal recall pretty much everything before she had had all her injections. Then she wss let loose to everything in world that needed chasing birds cats, dogs, leaves, squirrels, rabbits , balls you name it she wants to chase it. I have a back condition so having a steam engine on the end of a lead did not help, so I tried the halti I had from previous dogs , harnesses, gentle leaders figure of 8 leads .she will walk lovely for a while then she would get very upset trying to get out of them, also her nose would bare the marks of head collars.S o I was browsing through the pet site when this harness with good reviews came up along with others , I was not prepared to pay a fortune on yet another claim to save from being pulled over .Ordered on prime so next day delivery I read instructions and put it on my bouncing girl she has come accustomed to new type of lead on regular basis, I then decided lets walk and that is exactly what she did, not pulling jumping chasing yanking me to the nearest objects that she fancied. She walked in fact a lot of the time I was in front and had to call her to follow, I checked harness to make sure she wasn't in any sort of pain she didn't want to try to take it off , so wow. Is it a fluke I thought so I took her again a few hours later same result, I have ordered large and adjusted to smallest setting knowing that she is growing, 2 days later she runs to me when she see's it , where as before although she loved her walks she wasn't enthusiastic about going when using facial training devices. So all I can say it has worked for me I saw a standard poodle taking her owner for a walk I told her about this harness, its not to expensive and I'm very happy with it, thank you for the fast delivery and for making my puppy and I very happy as we can now both enjoy our walks.

This astonished me by working straight away. My 5 year old collie knows how to walk well, but rarely chooses to do so as sometimes it just seems to be more fun to lunge on ahead as if on some very important mission to save the world. I popped this on, he lunged, and then spun around utterly confused and unsure ( this wasn't entirely pleasant, as he did look a bit worried). Straight away that, he began to walk along beside me, as he really doesn't like it when there is any pressure. We even passed a squirrel in a perfectly civilised fashion! astonishing. The long leash is good, as I can allow him to have enough length to go investigate a hedge/ lamp post/ interesting smell if I want to.I had hoped to use this all the time, but on morning walks on the common, when he is let off the lead, he doesn't run about with such lovely wild abandon when he has this on. I suppose some people might this of this as an advantage, but I feel it is a bit of a shame that he isn't enjoying himself quite so much, and I have to assume it is because the harness is somehow uncomfortable. As a result, we only use this for a town walk, but I still use his normal collar for his morning romps. The fittings and clasps etc feel sturdy - quite good actually for the price, so all in all, yes, as long as your dog isn't too uncomfortable in it, I would recommend it for when you need your him/ her to walk well beside you.

I never wrote reviews - even if something is completely satisfactory - or great even. But this is brilliant!!!! Life changing! My springer spaniel has always been impossible on the lead and no amount of stppping, turning away, figure of 8 models, canny collars, Halties have helped. I tried everything going.I am getting another springer pup next week and the thought of two dragging me down the road filled me with dread. Yes, I could drive to a nearby field or beach but there's nothing quite the relaxed trot along a cycle path - or quick nip to the shop which I could never do with my 8 year old spaniel.I was recommended this product from a Facebook friend. The science seemed believeable, and not a too hefty price tag so took a chance.I thought I would try it for the worst possible situation. Just got in from work and the pooch was excitable. I needed to pick up milk - I know a 5 minute walk would not be enough but wanted to see if it worked at the worst time. BOY it did.No arm being yanked from socket, no blisters where he has Yanked the lead from my grasp, no being pulled over (yes it's happened) when stopping to pick up a poo! And no horrible sound of choking and gasping from my dog!I even got to see what this loose leash walking was about!!!!Highly recommend this and thank you - walking will now be much more pleasureable and will be buying another for the new dog!!!

I have two very large dogs - Akitas - and as they are still only 2 years old, I needed a harness that helped me to control them - rather than THEM control ME! Having tried halti's, back clip harness, choke collars - I found this one and thought I'd give it a try.I've now been using this harness on both my dogs since April - so for 7 months now - and I must say, they work wonders! Once you get the fit/adjustment right - and that is important otherwise you may cause discomfort to your dog, and sores may appear under their legs. But once it's correctly fitted, it works as it says - it stops mine in their tracks as soon as I pull them back in my direction. It even allows me to stop mine from pulling me over if they see a cat or squirrel and try to bolt for it - I pull the lead, it stops them instantly! The other harnesses where the clip is on their back didn't do this, my dogs just pulled through my efforts to stop them and had me floored a few times back with those harnesses. This has NEVER happened with the Easy Walk Harness.Would highly recommend, and I do when out walking and in fact a fellow dog walker I see regularly has also now purchased one due to seeing my dogs walk so well now!

This worked immediately for my 33kg Labradoodle. And he really seems to like it. Was excited to see it after the first walk!!!! The Halti head collar worked excellently too...but he obviously hated it 'cause hid every time I went to put it on. And the Lupi harness was okay, but didn't stop pulling, just made it more difficult for him to do so....I must admit (embarrassed face) that I put the harness on upside down the first time I used it, with the grey bit on his back....I thought it was a bit baggy, and that I'd ordered the wrong size....but it still worked fantastically. Now that I have readjusted it and have it on the right way round it's even better!...So much so that I have now ordered a second one for my other doodle, only joined us a few days ago, as I think she will love it too.No discomfort or rubbing, but I will keep an eye on it due to reading other reviews.I have only given it 4 stars as I agree that it would give peace of mind if it had some fleece or padding under the armpits and I think that though the free lead is a nice touch, it seems unnecessary to include it and the cost of that could go on padding instead!

I bought these for my two Bleu de Gascogne pups(1 yr olds) . I was getting desperate as they are nearly 40 kg each and very strong. I was struggling to walk them. I had tried long and short leads, back harness, and they were damaging my hands and arms, if we saw another dog I was in trouble! As a hunting bread ,their natural instinct is to chase after a scent, and drag me with them! I didn't think anything was going to change them, this was a shot in the dark! They arrived in a few days and we fitted them on the dogs. I took one of them out on his own and immediately he was a different dog, walking by my side happy! The lead was loose, my arms were pain free, I was not breathless or having a panic attack!!The other dog was the same when I walked him. They are so much better that even my husband who has a heart condition can walk them with me now. The long lead also means that they can sniff around in ditches without pulling me in. This harness is fantastic I am no longer embarrassed to take them out and maybe my neibours will stop thinking me the mad English woman with those uncontrollable dogs( I live in France!!).

I've a Springer/Collie cross and thus the typical issue with those two working dog types... pulling.I've tried the usual techniques and a good range of lead/collar types and, while he's better, he'll still pull like a train during the excitement early in a walk.Had this one recommended to me and, yup, it's not bad at all. It basically limits their ability to really put their back into the pull since where the lead is attached means they'll rotate as they do so. Keen dogs will still be able to maintain that slightly side on position and put pressure on the lead but the amount is certainly less and a corrective tug had more impact on their gait than when using a regular collar.Fit is a touch fiddly, what with multiple bits to adjust, but hard to moan as you only need do that once. Feels well made, stitching is neat etc. It's not the ultimate solution (lets face it age is probably the ultimate solution) but it's better than anything else I've tried and I've found myself recommending it to other spaniel owners in the park. Not sure if they heard me- they were traveling too fast.

I've tried all types of non pull harnes but none really worked well and no good if the walk is part off lead excersize.I have the figure of eight for walks that are lead only and need complete control as in a town and with three cocker spaniels these are brilliant! But I needed a harness for control and a bit more freedom, this fits the bill! I only ordered one to try out on the dog who pulled the most. It arrived this morning vie prime delivery and off we went! Perfect walk to the park and lovely running about walk then back on lead brilliant!Being a clever cocker spaniel he found he could scoop the lead into his mouth and guide me home! But didn't pull.I'm ordering two more now but smaller as the medium is shortened to the maximum for a good not too tight fit!I notice the s/m is more expensive so will order small for my dainty but naughty dog and try both sizes on my third dog!We were starting to avoid going on walks because of the pulling, this harness not gives us the pleasure of dog owning back,as my husbands has Parkinson's we can get out more together!

We have a soon to be 18 mth old retriever who can walk to heel really well until he sees another dog or human then, he becomes an excitable bunny! He tugs, he lunges and if I get agitated he will start to jump up and try to play tug with the lead! Not a great experience at all and then I saw a lady on a walk who said she had the same problem and suggested I get a PetSafe easy walk harness and one week later I can't believe the improvement we are walking together in sync, we even pass dogs I give bring the lead in slightly and he walks to heal he is a little star and I don't get agitated and he doesn't either. We did have a few problems in the beginning one was down to the front chest strap dropping down as it was too loose meaning, pressure put on the belly strap at the top of his legs the other problem was I found the lead a little too long so we've used another lead and all seems well now (fingers crossed this continues). I'm sure we will have the odd moment of naughtiness after all he is a retriever and still relatively young too.

I have a 2 year old labradoodle who pulls badly. This is the first harness that has worked. I was recommended it by a local dog trainer. The other non-pull harnesses I tried all had the lead connecting at the shoulders which enabled the dog to use her chest to pull (like huskies are trained to pull a sledge). I also tried the halti head collar, but this distressed her.The premier harness fastens at the front. For some reason this stops the dog from pulling. My dog now walks nicely to heel. I'm not sure why this harness works, Because it worked so well straight away, at first i was concerned that it could be restricting the dogs movements or causing discomfort, but I'm now fairly sure that this is not the case. She certainly doesn't show any signs of discomfort.I have been careful not to use the extending lead with this harness, so that every time that we it we are practicing walking to heel. I have also found that as a result she is better when i take her out on just the collar. Its definitely worth a try.

It's very unlike me to write a review but this product has changed the game completely and I'm buzzing! I was forced into a long Google search after my 6 month old puppy nearly had me over on the ice a few days in a row. This had become very serious and none of the training was working. I was getting really frustrated. When I came upon this product I prayed the good reviews were true...I have now used the harness on two walks and it worked from the second he tried to pull out of the front door! Little did I realise how much he actually pulled. I now feel safe that he won't pull into the road (which he tries to do), the blood is flowing to my hand as I can hold the lead loosely, he's not jumping up at people.I'm now looking forward to walks. He's not trotting at my side all the time, he likes to set the pace, but when he tries to go too far or hard he just stops for a split second.I'm so happy that I'd give it ten starts if I could!

So I bought this item a few months ago. Even though I contacted them and asked for a recommendation about the size - because my dog's mesearuments fitted both small/medium and medium- i bought the medium one . It turns out it does not fit as it should, its loose and the straps are adjusted to minimum they go. Though the size is not good I still use it because compared to the traditional body harness this is nearly perfect for our walks. She still does not walk nicely and she does pull but not in the extend that I cannot handle it, but when she pulls sharply because of the wrong size it sometimes chokes her! With the body harness though, she just leads and I am running behind her so I prefer this harness even if its bigger than it should.I will probably purchase at some point the smaller size, even though i am worried about iritating her armpits. I would like to try the Deluxe one also but the do not ship it in my country.

So we have a 7month old Springer Spaniel who despite our best efforts pulled on her lead to the point I had a permanent muscle pain in my arm, we have tried a few harnesses and collars but never with any results. Our dog trainer recommended this product and we thought for the price it was worth a try. From the very first try our puppy immediately stopped pulling and walked nicely on a loose lead. Tiny adjustments has her waiting nicely or heading in the direction we want. At first we thought it was a fluke but 3 weeks on She is still walking beautifully to the point we have met other puppy owners who ask how we have managed to get her to walk so nicely.I rarely write reviews but this has really worked for us and the pain in my arm has gone. I am also waiting to bump into the person I passed while being dragged along by my 4 month springer who laughed and said I had another 12 - 14 years to look forward to of pulling!
