This is a great item for any dog who loves the sun. I have used it on my dog's nose as this seems to be the bit of her that always catches the sun the most. It didn't cause any irritation and she did not mind having it applied. Rather than rub the stick directly onto her nose I popped a bit onto my finger and then rubbed her nose. It did exactly what it said it would and when she came in from outside there was no sign of any sunburn. Very pleased and would highly recommend. A lovely little item to pop in your bag when out and about with your dog, This should be part of every dog owners 'grooming/medicine' cupboard.

Does the job well. I do alot of outdoor activities with my dogs and it seemed wrong that I should put sunscreen on and they should have all their vulnerable bits exposed to the sun. I use this on the areas that I notice go very red with sun exposure, the skin by their noses and on their....erm...testicles. The dogs don't seem to mind it going on, they don't lick it or notice it there but I am alot happier knowing they have some protection on the areas that their fur don't cover. Would recommend this to anyone that spends alot of time out with their dogs who have areas of skin that may be exposed

I got this for my cat, although I know it is technically for dogs. It arrived quickly. As for whether it works, I can't really say. My cat is dark furred on his ears (which is where I apply the product) and although he is less at risk than a cat with white ears, I didn't want to chance him getting burnt and developing cancer on his ears. Obviously, as he is only a year old, I won't know until he is older whether it has stopped him getting cancer, but hopefully it will do the job.

I bought this for my Jack Russell who is predominantly white with very fine hair. We went away for the week, and it was extremely hot (we obviously took all the appropriate precautions with pets in the heat) She wasn’t best pleased with me applying it but she got used to it. Really easy to apply, the smell isn’t overwhelming, does have a little bit of a greasy consistency but it does protect. My little girl didn’t burn, go red or get irritated. Would recommend

Much smaller than I thought, smaller than a standard deodorant stick so not good for big dogs. I only have a tiny dog but she won’t let me near her with it so I bought the spray version instead and she quite enjoys me spraying her on hot days. She is fair coloured, adores sunbathing and her tummy was getting quite tanned!! No sun burn so far thank god and not got any darker so good products

Nell's nose does not go red in the sun any more and she does not object to the product. She doesn't like the stick coming near her face so I need to transfer a little of the sun screen to a finger and then rub it on her nose. I would recommend this to anyone with a dog with a white area on its face where the skin underneath is pink.

Did some research on suitable sun cream for dogs and petkin suncream was one of the ones that came up. I have a Bassett hound with a pink nose and nozzle which needs protection, seems to be doing the job hasn't got sunburned on his nose, easy to apply even with him wriggling when applied to nose, happy to recommend this.

Hard to really tell if this is working on a dog but I have no real reason to doubt it.my dog loves sunbathing when given the chance so this was really a must have product.easy to apply and not too sticky and after the initial inquisitive first lick my dog seems quite happy to have it on and seemed comfortable with it

This has been a much needed purchase after all the hot weather we’ve been having especially for our two beagles noses which can get particularly pink! It’s super easy to apply and visibly makes a difference instantly as provides thick coverage. It has a lovely scent also which reminds me of holidays :)

Did think it was going to be bigger, but it does the job. Have a white dog who loves to sit in the sun. Had to apply with my fingers as she doesn't sit still enoght. This works great, no bad reaction on her skin which is great. Will buy again .

Excellent value, although only a small stick it lasts a while. I use on my dogs scar, tried other products but they caused my dog to have reactions but this cream is great as is sensitive and therefore I can use it on my dog on any summers day.

Ordered the stick and the spray for the tummy of my sun worshipping hound! The stick has been easier to apply. Dog is happy for me lie him across my lap to apply the sun screen stick. He refuses to let me spray the sun lotion on to his tummy.

got this sun cream for my dog as she has a pink noise and tried everything to keep her noise from burning but didn't work and this sun cream for dogs is brilliant it keeps her noise protected whilst in the sun she loves laying in the sun.

I have a sun worshipping white French bulldog who normally burns at least once throughout the summer. This sun stick smells lovely and is easy to use and very effective we have gotten through a very warm German summer with no burns!

I haven't had a reason to try this on the cat yet. She has white ears so needs sunscreen but without zinc oxide which has been hard to find. Just wish it was fragrance free. Who wants a vanilla and coconut smelling cat?
