Great remote, but you can't really use it if you have more than one Xbox one in the room. It doesn't pair with your Xbox, it's uses a frequency or rf or something, so if you have 2 Xboxes near each other, it controls both at the same time. That's kind of an issue, because I'm usually at my buddy's house and we have the living room set up for gaming with 2 TV's and 2 Xboxes so we don't have to split screen, and if he's playing a game and I wanna watch TV, it doesn't work good. But I'm gonna get a lot of use out of it at home.

I purchased this for my mum. As I turned my Xbox into a media device so my mum can watch sky,Netflix prime etc. This device makes that transaction very simple and is a very handy tool for my mum who would not be able to function a normal xbox controller. Overall very nice design, due to it being a infra red signal when using it on xbox cuts that 5th star for me. But a very useful device if you can’t function controller well and are used to a remote, also useful to watch tele on the xbox.

I know the normal Xbox controller does the work fine for when you might kick it back and watch one movies or something. BUT MY WORD, you too can feel as cool as a cucumber when you're no longer having to recharge the controller and turning it back on after inactivity and what not. Because with this remote, WE'RE GOING BACK TO OLD SCHOOL, THATS RIGHT, BATTERIES, AND GUESS WHAT, THERES TWO INCLUDED. need I say anymore? do yourself a favour and bag this gem and you're cool :)

Remote needed zero setup to control xbox one, and minimal to make it work with tv and sound bar( in xbox settings)Much better than using joypad for media no switching off to avoid knocking stick and skipping half movie, and no picking up to pause movie and realise need to turn joypad back on first.Believe that kinect required as did not need to pair it like when buying new joypad, and kinect is how it controls tv/sound bar(xbox ir blasts the tv control signals out)

For some reason myself and my partner bought an XBOX 360 last year with the intention of playing video games, however we’ve ended up using it as more of a media system e.g Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Disney+. We hated using the controller so we decided to by this for simpler ease. Quick and easy to connect to both the TV and XBOX. Sleek and smooth design/feel and love that the buttons light up in the dark. Great touch. Best purchase ever!

Wanted a remote control for my Xbox One and found this one. It works really well and is a lot better than having to turn the controller every time I need to pause a video. I use it mostly with Amazon Prime but have used it with the BluRay player and work just as well. The light-up feature is great, enabling me to see the buttons when I need to without distracting me from watching the video when it's resting on the arm of the chair.

I just got this guy a couple days ago,and don't see how I did with out it.I have an Xbox one X and a launch model Xbox one.The X is for gaming and the launch is now my media center.The remote works flawlessly and really is some thing Microsoft should have included.It blows the small Microsoft remote out of the water.Just so much easier to use than trying to use a controller .

It makes it a lot easier to control your xbox when watching films and shows. The best thing about it is that you don't need to turn it on as the gaming controller after some time without activity. You can do almost everything with this controller. It works straight from the box. It could be cheaper, but I guess we all love lower prices. I would recommend it 100%

The buttons on the remote are soft and very easy to use. Connects to Xbox instantly and going through the channels is very easy.Most features of a normal remote like toggling between channels, getting channel information, creating favourites, etc can be done via this remote.A perfect companion for Xbox one if it’s being used as an entertainment console.

I recently purchased the official media remote which was very good but I found it restricting because some of the buttons found on a controller was missing and this proved to be an issue.So I purchased this media remote and it's perfect, it has all the buttons you need plus a numeric keypad, an excellent remote, highly recommended.

Getting Youtube TV on Xbox and requiring launching a controller each time delayed your viewing pleasure. PDP Talon instantly connects ot the Xbox and you control your app and tv no problem, no delay. Very Pleased with ease of use. It controls my tv and I don't know how it does so...perhaps through my xbox, but no code, just worked.

Great feature packed remote that is licences by Xbox, giving it that 'official' look and feel as if it was meant to come with your Xbox. It's well built, doesn't feel cheap, and feels good in your hand. It controls your tv too, as long as your Xbox's IR blaster points to your TV (this would have been a 5 star rating else).

Bought this to replace the MS "official" remote. As it offers full functionality, including ABXY buttons. Works well, lightweight & soft back light is perfect and when watching films. Would recommend to any Xbox One owner. Will also work with S & X models. Well worth the asking price. Though does lack an eject button.

I purchased this remote for my xbox, it works great. I like it better than the xbox controls because not only does it save batteries, but it also controls the tv. It came preprogrammed for the xbox, just make sure the IR sensor is not obstructed or you may have the impression it’s not working like I did lol.

Good solid Xbox remote, that functions as intended.Nice little touch, the backlit keys that wake on detecting remote movement.The remote has been configured to work with the TV to adjust volume, but this feature is hit and miss and doesnt always work, hence only 4/5 stars!
