Well it does what its supposed to do and it does it well. If you want a TV mount that is especially good for fatter TV then this is the one for you. An officially licensed Microsoft product that does exactly what it should. Sure there are cheaper ones out there but this one works. My LCD TV is about 2 inches thick at the top but then about 3 inches (in total), a further way down. The good thing about this product is it slides out a far way back cant remember exactly how far now but certainly more than 4 inches. It has prongs, (if thats the best word to use), which clip and lock into the the Kinnect sensors holes at the base of the sensor stand to keep it firmly in place.

I bought this after picking up Kinect. As my 42" LCD TV is wall mounted I didn't have a TV stand to place my Kinect on. This mount enabled me to place the Kinect centrally on top of my TV. I will add a picture of it in situ. Before purchasing I read the reviews on here to see about compatibility. My LG 42LG7000 has a reasonable back on it to allow the clip to hold it in place. I could see this being an interesting fit on the new ultra thin Samsung TV's.As my title mentions, by having this on top of my TV this has given me the extra space needed to play games in two player mode. The distance from my Kinect to the wall opposite is 9ft 2" or 2 metres 80cm to help anybody gauge there playing space.

Bought this as my Kinect kept falling off the stand and top of the TV due to a balancing act I was putting on, needed something to secure keep it in place and something that also looked nice and went with the style in my TV room. Saw this and snapped it up, my Kinect has been happily sitting on top of the TV with no move at all, not even when I tug on the wires whilst cleaning at the back,Fits my TV perfectly, though I thought my TV might be a little on the thin side but the adjustable hinge on the item seems to adapt well no matter where it's resting. Some products in the past I've found just sit your Kinect inside a small square try, this project clicks your Kinect in to place meaning it's going nowhere.

When the Kinect was released I brought one straight away - keen to combine my love of video games with a need to be more active. Initially I didn't use it as much as I would have liked due to the fact that I had to precariously balance it on top of the tv and it would often fall off and then takes ages to set again. This has completely solved those problems. Arrived nice and promptly in the post, took 5 minutes to set up and I've not had to touch it since. It sits nicely on top of my Toshiba 32 inch Regza tv and does not interfere view viewing at all. If you are getting a Kinect and were going to try balancing it on top of your tv then get this instead and save the hassle!

This product has done exactly as I needed it to - stopped our Kinect sensor death leaping from the top of the TV every time it needs to scan the play space! Not a particularly exciting product, but very much required. I looked at a couple of the cheaper options before going for this one, but in the end I went for this version as it wasn't too expensive (although I agree with other reviewers that have said it should be part of the Kinect kit anyway) and works perfectly with our Sony Bravia TV, which has the slightly curved back (I read some reviews of other similar products that said they didn't work unless the TV had a completely flat back).

It is what it is.Its a baisc plastic hinged bracket that you can clip your kinect camera to.Being Microsoft its a perfect fit for the Kinect and holds in very well.It allows you to put the camera on top of your TV and it fits most if not all TV.I've tried in on a chunky Toshiba and a ultra thin LG and it stay stable on both.Will it improve the camera pick up issues some cames have. Only if putting the camera on top of the TV is a better place for the camera that its current position.For me,as it turns out, my camera was in a better posistion above the TV and to the side.But for a small price. I thought it wold be worth it to try.The other half did think it looked better on top of the TV.

It's not an original Microsoft (Xbox) clip. But who cares - as long as it does the job and the price is right we have no problems with it. For some, it may look like it's an misleading description, however we knew that it may be generic clip because of the wording --> "Microsoft Licensed"There are few moans here and people are giving low score on this product based on this one only issue. Honestly we're happy - it's well made and it does the job.We got this clip from "BuyinCoinsUK" on Amazon. It was cheap and cheerful when we bought it (£3.59) and it was delivered quicker than expected from HK. So we are pleased with the item. It fits our slim LED TV

I bought this so to fit my Kinect over my iMac 27" as I have the xbox connected to the computer display. My options were limited as most of the Kinect stands are for TV's rather than computer monitors. I took the chance with this and I am very happy with my decision. The stand adjusts outwards to suit the dept of the TV/Monitor but in my case I did not require to move this as the screen in smaller that the width of the stand. Even with this the stand sits on top of the monitor and is fairly sturdy. There is still some movement but in no way am i afraid of it falling off.I would recommend this product.

I am using this on my old Sony Bravia 40" and my new LG 47" tv's. The Sony TV is quite a lot thicker than the LG and the mounting clip fits them both very well.It doesn't look the most stable thing, you feel that once the kinect is fitted it will topple over, but I haven't had any problems with it all.I have found that I can get the kinect square on the floor in a better place as well now.I was using double sided tape to secure the kinect on the Sony TV which I can now remove! The LG was too thin to consider that idea!For £15 you really can't go wrong

I had some concerns that with a television that was 11cm thick and tapered towards the edges that the clip may not work. However as the hinge can be extended from the main plate it was possible to mount the platform securely.The plate on which the Kinect rests has two clips that securely fasten the Kinect to it. Combined with rubber pads of the parts that touch the front and back of the television, if mounted properly there should be no concerns that the Kinect will fall.The only downside is the cost for what ultimately is a small piece of plastic.

This little, subtle device has really made a huge difference to our Kinect gaming experience. Prior to this the Kinect was really too low, sitting below the TV it couldn't properly track our entire body movements.I looked at third party clips which are readily available and somewhat cheaper, but instead preferred to stick to Xbox certified gear. I'm glad I did as this is really good quality, and very discreet sitting firmly above our TV.I would wholly recommend all Kinect users take this option rather than the third party devices.

I read most of the reviews for this mounting clip and had some concerns around its quality and whether it would mount satisfactory on our Sony Bravia TV. I was not disappointed, it mounts perfectly well. If your TV has a flat top and front (90 degree angle) but the back is curved, you won't have a problem however if you have a rounded top such as some Samsung TVs then I would avoid this product. In addition I think this mount should be supplied with the Kinect anyway and not sold separately.

Like so many others I looked at all the different types available and went for this one, i have a 55" Samsung smart TV and had some doubts if it would fit ok, but it is no problem at all and does the job nicely and securely enough, so a good purchase and i am happy with it.It does what it say's it will do.My other half is sat on the fence regarding having the Kinect bar above the TV and if it spoils her living room, but it removes easily enough and hides behind the tv if needed.

I found that a couple of my Kinect games that used voice control were suffering because my sensor was right in front of the dialog box from my home cinema system below my TV, so if there was talking in-game the sensor struggled to hear my commands.This mounting clip enabled me to move my Kinect to the top of my TV and works perfectly. It's a sturdy build and it's kept firmly in place, while being easy to remove when not in use.

So it was shipped as per the high expectations that Amazons gives. Simple instructions, however initially it wasn't aware that a little force was needed to extend the back part to the correct length. Once fitted it's been solid as a rock - i have an LCD 37 inch TV and quite simply it's fine.So concerns when i turned / moved the TV it stayed put.What more can I say - it does exactly what it's mean to.
