Close together pins with no bobble bits so it gets right into the knots. My dog seems to like it more than my stiffer pin slicker brushes. Shorter pins too so I have to work in layers with it.Really comfortable handle and feel.Would highly recommend (used to be dog groomer back in the day)

this brush is fantastic. it does not tangle it slips through whispers coat and she loves it.we have a lovely time together and it does'nt feel a chore. her coat looks so glossy and in such good condition. i would highly recommend to every-one. it's the best i have ever used.

WHAT A FANTASTIC BRUSH !! I HAVE PURCHASED A NUMBER OF BRUSHES FOR MY 10 MONTH OLD COCKAPOO, AND NONE OF THEM PERFORM ANYTHING LIKE THIS ONE !!!COMFORTABLE HANDLE TO HOLD, MY PUPPY JUST LOVES BEING BRUSHED NOW !!COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRUSH HIGHLY ENOUGH !!

Grooming my Standard poodle with this brush is easier than other slickers..and he tolerates it far better than the cheaper ones! It is lovely to hold and I would recommend paying that little bit more especially for a Poodle coat.

Brilliant brush, always used a furminator in the past but only use it occasionally now. My Leonberger likes it too, very good for my long, thick coated pooch. Good quality but expected that for the price paid.
