Okay, first off, I was very impressed with this thing when it first arrived. Unlike the 4gamers triggers, these does not fall apart easily. After many use and abuse, it has still yet to self-distruct like the previous pair I've owned. There are downsides however. First, it is VERY difficult to fit the triggers first time. You really need some force to clip the damn thing into place. But, the reward for you hard effort is a trigger that'll stay on. Even some heavy thudding will not tear this thing down. Second, when you DO snap it off (during frustrating times, such as being owned by Campers in CoD), you'll find it will not like to stay back on. After the first time,it appears the trigger will continue to fall off afterwards with little effort. I've managed to resolve this problem with some Sellotape (now, only the destruction of my controller will get the thing off). Thirdly, and most importantly, it might affect the controller if you use charging stations. The triggers do stick out more than the original buttons. SO if you have a fine, cool looking docking station, that'll fit the controller snuggly without triggers, then you might find it a tad big with the triggers on.

The main fault with the PS3 controller over the Xbox360 one for me has always been the triggers. They are just too small and tapered. Its easy to lose grip on a trigger when you are trying to hold it in continuously and it is sloping away. I wasn't happy to get a 3rd party controller that needed a USB dongle sticking out the front of the console all the time, and one that is unable to turn on the machine since the dongle isn't powered when he machine is off. I finally thought I'd give these triggers a try. Apparently the ORB ones are widely regarded as the sturdiest ones, and after trying them I have to agree. They needed a bit of force to fit so I warmed them ever so slightly before snapping them on.They feel incredibly solid, and when they are fully depressed they brace against the controller so I can't imagine accidentally popping them off. They give so much purchase and extra area to the triggers, it really is a massive improvement to the controller. Just note that they might make the triggers hard to reach for very small hands, like young children.

i got these originally a couple months ago to save some money on an order i did. i never really thought about using them before then but when they came i gave them a try. at the time i was playing Rayman Legends which is a game where you'll be using the triggers a lot to run. Once i started using them with the game i immediately felt a nice difference between them and the standard triggers. it feels much less spongy and slippy than the normal ones so no more fingers slipping off the triggers. it also makes your fingers more comfortable while just resting them on the triggers. I can vouch for the durability of this because after 6 months of regular use they still were as durable as ever. in fact, the only reason I've bought another pair is because i lost my original ones, go me. in conclusion, it won't "give you a boost in a game" as I've seen people say here but if you find the normal triggers uncomfortable or think they feel weird to use I'd recommend giving these a try.

When i first bought my ps3 years ago i was anoyed to find that my fingers kept slipping of the triggers on the controller (L2 + R2), and This spoilt what was otherwise an exellent controller. But there was a saviour! Giotech had made some triggers that clipped over the origionals and made the controller how it should have been in the first place! ( can't believe sony has never fixed this!). Now i have purchased another controller i naturaly wanted another pair of Gioteck triggers, However they have for some stupid reason redesigned them, (Why!) They are now very flimsey and nowhere near as good as the origionals and break with little use! ( My two origional pairs are still going after 4 years!)To cut a long story short if you are after a pair of triggers to match the quality of the origional giotecks, The ORB one's, are the one's to buy! They are almost identical and if anything They clip on a bit tighter too.Exellent product, Recomended!

I read the reviews on both this, and the gioteck triggers. and opted for these.Slip on easily, and come off just as easily when attempting to do so(not with normal playing). They even stayed on when I dropped my controller. The biggest flaw with the ps controller is cleary the L2/R2 triggers. They are very poor, and not suited for any sort of game where they must be held in for continuous periods of time (think racing games). Thankfully, these improve the triggers for games where you're holding the controller in the same position for a long duration as there is npw no chance of your finger slipping off the button, due to the poorly designed controller. However for games that do require movements (action, fps's etc) I occasionally pinch myself when pressing L2/R2 due to me holding the controller differently when playing these types of games, when compared to racing games.

Much better than the standard L2 & R2 triggers on sixaxis controller. Click on to existing triggers easily (and can click off easily too when not required). Have had no problems with them coming off at all while playing, firm enough fit. Give a much better feel when playing FPS games with the triggers easier to pull; faster response as they stick out further making them level with the R1 & L1 controls with a small kickout at the bottom. Comfortable grip, good for racing games too where these are often accelerator and brake. Have the same finish/texture as original just grey not black if thats an issue for you. Dispatched and delivered quickly. Recommend with ORB thumb control pads for analogue sticks, can only improve accuracy and response IMO. Well worth the price.

Just a quick review to say that I have bought a number of the Gioteck triggers over the last couple of years, they have lasted various lengths from weeks to months, but in the end they have always broken. I had, too a degree, given them a bit of latitude on this given they aren't that expensive, but having spotted the Orb's from another review thought I'd try those. I can't tell you how they have lasted yet as I've only just got them, but what I can say is that I could immediately tell they were a much better design as they are a one-piece mould as opposed to a two-piece mould like the Gioteck ones. It's this two-piece design that in my view creates the weak spot that always breaks on the Giotechs (and I did hear a rumour that they were redesigning to a one-piece).

These little things are a good little buy, very cheap, easy to put on and take off, and for people like me who dont like the ps3's l2 and r2 buttons and would prefer proper triggers, almost a necessity. Unfortunately, though these do the job reasonably well, they still dont feel right. They're a little too bulky, so for people with smaller hands you cant wrap your finger all the way round them, so you'll have to press more to the sides, which can be a little frustrating. Also they can sometimes fall off, but not too often to become a nuisance. Its a good product, but still not quite what trigger lovers want.

I'm normally an Xbox gamer and love the controller, and one of the big issues for me was the shape and size of the PS3 triggers, they just wouldn't cut it. So I heard about these and figured I'd give them a go. Huge improvement! They clip on fairly easily (Well, it took me a bit because I didn't read the instructions lol) and once on they make the controller what it should have been in the first place.I would recommend these to anyone who isn't comfortable with the standard PS3 controller triggers, or is used to playing with an Xbox controller. They do help (Plus they're cheap! :D)

These have absolutely transformed my controller. I am an Xbox person and recently acquired a PS3 to play the titles which aren't available for Xbox and I really hate the PS3 controller but these make me like it somewhat. They clip on easily and feel solid, I am not sure why people manage to break them but I'm not one for throwing my hardware around my house.Good buy would definitely recommend.Ordered for next day delivery but eventually received the package in two working days. Not a big deal I know but it's not okay when you order something and pay for fast delivery.

Really solid set of cans. Adjustable fitments go from tiny to Frankenstien. Only problem I found was the bass and overall sound-depth were lacking a bit. A wee tad tinny (for me). Also when wearing for an extensive game session etc they do begin to act as a pair of ear muffs with speakers built-in, and have had me sweating ESPECIALLY IN SUMMER+AUTUMN (U.K). These are simple complaints that I kinda had to dig for and wouldn't change the fact that if you want a pair of cans that are simple, cheap and are gonna last...... I would recommend these as a front runner at least.

these are very sturdy made i think(going by texture and feeling) with the same material as the normal triggers.they are easy to apply once on they dnt move at all.people claiming they break i think they must be fiddling about with them too much ie removing them and putting them on repeatedly, just put them on and keep them on. probably not that great when playing fifa, but they aren't made for fifa.good when playing cod coming from an xbox to ps3 i wasn't used to playing with r1 and l1 for shooting so applying these bad boys made them feel like proper triggers

I recently got a Ps3 as a birthday present and instantly HATED the controller! Its not ergonomic and the triggers were awful! I really preferred my Xbox controller which in my opinion is superior. However, I found out about these triggers which would help make the Ps3 controller more comfortable. Enter the Orb triggers! I snapped these on and instantly felt the difference! Now it feels like I'm pulling a trigger when I shoot someone in Black Ops! So much more satisfying! Buy these, lock and load and let the good times roll!

I do not often write reviews but I have to agree with the majority, this product is far superior to other triggers. I've been through approx 7 or 8 pairs of various triggers since owning my PS3 and these appear the most solid and stable - too often in the past I had dropped my controller and the trigger cracked or flew off taking the small bit of plastic with it rendering it useless! Suffice to say I still drop my controller from time to time but these triggers remain intact - exactly what you want! Fantastic product.

The PS3 controller I hate to say (in my eyes) is by far the worst ergonomically designed controller repeated use of the triggers ends up with my hands feeling tight and cramped up.The minute you attach these triggers though it completely changes the feel and usability of the PS3 controller they are absolutely fantastic. No more cramped up hands after long need for speed sessions these have completely (at least for me) solved all my hand cramping issuesDefinitely a worthwhile purchase if your a serious gamer.
