The actual product is OK, the reason I had to buy it had nothing to do with style, purely that the original fell off and I lost it.You have to remove the part to add a lens hood to either the 14-42 or the 45mm lens, once it has been take off once it becomes very loose indeed.These replacements are of the same quality as the original.

Useful to change the look of a lens across multiple bodies, if I could be bothered, or was a fashionista, I needed a silver ring to replace one that was lost, you get three in the pack, what‘s not to like?

It's so easy to lose the native ring that comes with the PEN. This is a set of 3! Never go without the ring again. (Too bad the US Amazon store doesn't have it...)
