So I bought this last month and I have to say that this product does take some time getting used to. The formula is really waxy, so that might be hard to adjust to at first (or at least it was for me). But to be fair, this is the first brow pomade I have ever used. I feel that the best way to use this is to apply as little product as possible. Doing this and taking that little bit as far as possible will make the brow look more natural. I must say that a little does go a long way. However, when coloring in the brow, you might have to keep adding more product to the brush to darken it if needed. Another thing is that this does live up to their claim of it being waterproof and lasting all day.

This is an excellent product that holds up really well. Once it dries, it doesn't budge unless you rub your eyebrows. It can also double as eyeliner in a pinch. However, be extremely careful with choosing your shade; the colors on the site for NYX brow pomade are darker than they are in real life. I thought getting the 'ash brown' shade (labeled "Brunette") would've been okay for me until I actually found a brick-and-mortar location with sample pots available. After swatching all of the shades I discovered that "Brunette" is much, MUCH redder than it is ashy, and I absolutely do not recommend it for women who don't have red undertones in their hair.

I was looking for a brow pomade that would match my dark ashy brows. I've had terrible luck with the shade selection of other brands (including a certain Beverly Hills brand...) being too yellow/red. The brown-black shade here is a perfect neutral that should work with nearly every color of dark brows, except jet black. You can make the color a bit lighter (taupe) or darker (blackish brown) depending on how thickly you apply the product. Performance-wise, I found the texture smooth and super easy to apply - easier than other brands - and it lasted all day without smudging. I applied it on top of my usual skincare routine and sunscreen, and did not use setting spray or powder and I had no issues.

I absolutely love this pomade! It gives a very natural finish and keeps everything in place all day, no matter the time of year. HOWEVER, I have medium-dark auburn hair, and I have such a hard time finding brow products of any brand that work for my abnormally light blonde brows, and actually match my hair. I have also used the eyebrow cake powder in auburn and the color was almost perfect, but I prefer the texture and hold of the pomade. I don't understand why the powder is the only brow product made in an auburn shade. Please, NYX, remember your ginger customers, we would love your products even more if you catered to us a little more. I would definitely rather buy your fantastically affordable,

I have been looking at this for a while, debating on whether or not I should switch from the automatic brow pencil to this pomade and a brush. I'm so glad I made the switch. It's smooth, I purchased it in Espresso (I have blue and green hair,) and it compliments it perfectly, and I hardly need to use any product at all to achieve the look I want. The only negative thing I have to say is that I haven't seen any taming qualities in this, my brows still tend to go where ever they want, they're just 1% more controllable now. But regardless of that tiny fact, paired with the NYX dual ended brow brush this is the best thing that's ever happened to my brows. For all of you out there using pencils,

I absolutely adore this product! I didn't want to spend all that money on the ABH Pomade DipBrow so I got this instead and I don't regret it at all. Even though it dries up a little too fast I still like it. I ordered the shade espresso and I was scared that it would either be too dark or too light for my hair color but it wasn't, it was the right fit! Even though it doesn't say it I'm pretty sure it's kind of waterproof because I had it on when I went and swam in a lake and when I got out it was still on except for tiny end on one eyebrow that was smudged. So i would definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good pomade without spending a lot of money.

I've never been a girl who did more than wax her brows. It always seemed like way too much effort but I had been feeling like my blonde brows weren't dramatic enough after I dyed my hair darker. My hairdresser suggested I try the ABH pomade. I knew nyx had a version so I thought I'd give it try. It is absolutely amazing. I didn't think it'd make a huge difference, but it totally does. It's super easy to use, and it lasts all day. It dries a little quickly which can make blending harder but not impossible. It has quickly become an essential part of my morning routine. I was wanting more definition to my bows and my mom who barely has any needed more definition as well. I tried Anastasia blonde for myself and loved the pomade but the blonde seemed to dark for the price. I really wanted a pomade and this turned out perfect. The blonde I think is a pinch lighter, which is what I was wanting. It is easy to apply and I use very little. This will last a long time. Since I had such great results my mom begged me to get her some. She has red hair and since there is not an auburn color I went with chocolate based on a suggestion from another review I read. It is a pinch dark but once on it does take on a reddish tone and looks good.

I LOVE this product! Its amazing for beginners especially those who don't want to splurge for the ABH Pomade DipBrow. The formula is definitely different, the NYX dries faster than the ABH so don't apply too much product onto your brush. You can definitely control the amount of product you put on your brush so its really nice. The color is VERY pigmented! I got the shade ashbrown and it suits my hair color. I gave this a 4 bc it dries a little too fast so its hard to blend it out with a spoolie at least for me but other wise yes I recommend it! And I don't know if its waterproof but it stays on all day and I have oily skin! so GET IT if your looking for a cheaper alternative. :)

This product is very good for beginners or people with unsteady hands, such as myself, because the color isn't too pigmented, nor is it too creamy, so you don't have to worry about picking up too much product. The only downfall is that my hair is light blonde, almost platinum, and I'm very pale with a cool undertone, so the blonde brow pomade looks orangey when it's applied, though it looks like it's light brown in the container. However, I'm sure on someone who has a normal skin tone and with a bit darker hair, it would look really nice.tl;dr - Not heavily pigmented or creamy, so no over-done brows; do NOT buy this if you're really pale with light blonde hair

i’m honestly so happy with this. i never did my eyebrows because it’s so hard to find the proper shade for my blonde hair; most are just too dark or too orangey :( but i’m so glad i bought this. i love nyx and thought that the blonde shade might be worth trying out, especially bc it was on sale for £4! overall i’m really happy with it, it’s pretty much the same colour as my natural eyebrows so perfect for just filling in the sparse areas, or obviously u can do the whole instagram thick brow things. anyways i would 100% recommend this for pretty much anyone else, it’s really versatile and doesn’t slug up your eyebrows either!

I love this product!! It isn't too dry or too creamy it had the perfect texture. Over time it did dry out a little but still works great! I feel like you do end up needing to use a lot of this product to get a good brow though. I have gotten a ton of brow compliments from customers at work since switching from my Loriel pomade to this one! Mostly I feel the color matches a lot better and it's way easier to achieve the look I want. You have to work fast though bc it will dry up and be harder to blend when it does. Overall it's my new go to for my eyebrows and will definitely buy more when this is gone :)

Bought it once and barely used it. First, I got the wrong shade for my eyebrows (completely my fault). Second, a bit goes a long way. Third, I felt like it took me more time to apply then what I wanted. Although I didn't have a great experience with this product, I do believe it is still a good product for someone that has more experience using brow pomades. I am married with a child, working full time and also going to school therefore, I do not have much time to experiment with this product as I would like but I would still recommend it for a special occasion.
