The ultra-thin pencil stick breaks easily, if too heavy handed, I find, but it is worth taking the time to practice.I recommend extending the stick to the minimum length possible.ESPRESSO is a dark brown shade and just what I wanted. A very fine feather touch is all that is needed for delivering the colour, which stays in situ for as long as I need it. Bought this at CVS a few nights ago after my Anastasia Brow pencil ran out and decided to pick this up to try out and boy was I surprised! Not only is it cheap but it works phenomenally well for a drugstore brow product and dare I say it even comes close to my Anastasia one for a fraction of the price. However, it it not without its qualms. The colors run rather warm and for me personally, were a little too warm on my very pale skin with dark hair. For reference, in Anastasia brow products, I usually use the shade Ebony. I chose the shade Espresso thinking it was going to be perfect, but it ran quite red. However, I am going to finish it and have found that if I apply it and then set it with a tinted brow gel (Benefit Wonderbrow in shade 3-deep),

Been using this product for a couple of years now and I refuse to use anything else. I've always found brow pencils to be difficult to get natural looking brows as the majority I've used (though I did tend to use cheap kinds) would always be too light or too dark. This pencil is just the right consistency for light enough strokes that are easy to build if needed.The colour is also perfect for me - I have naturally dark blonde hair but the beginning of my brows are a mid ash brown while the tails are blonde and sparse to the point of being invisible. I always struggled to find a good ashy brown as most brown pencils are way too warm.

I got this in Ash Brown and it has a cold-tone to it, which is what I was after. Easy to apply, easy to correct if you make a mistake and there’s no need for sharpening. The pencil gives a soft, natural finish that’s easy to control so it’s ideal for filling in the brows but you can also achieve a thin line for more precision application using the edge of the pencil. It’s not quite as good as my Nip+Fab eyebrow pencil which is about the same price but has a triangle-shaped tip so it's easier to glide at an angle and feels more versatile during application. This NYX is good enough though and gets the job done.The brush on the other end of the pencil is really useful to have at hand for quickly shaping the brows,

NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow PencilMeasuring 14.7 cm in length, this slender brow pencil has a pencil tip one end with a small brush the other end. I received Expresso shade, which is a dark coffee colour.The makeup pencil has a slide on plastic cap either end. One end reveals a slender pencil tip, this can be extended by gradually turning the plastic holder. The other end has a similar slide on cap which reveals a slender spiral bristle brush which measures 2 cm in length. The pencil content is 0.5g.My wife informs me that she was pleased with this. She loved the ultra fine pencil tip which gave her good control over how much of this colour was applied.

I ordered this for my girlfriend, so this review reflects her experience. She rarely bothers doing her eyebrows, but likes to have the option for special occasions.She says it’s easy to get an accurate thin line with this and it flows smoothly. It’s maybe a touch lighter than her eyebrows, but as close to her natural colour as any she’s found. Once applied, it stays in place all day, until she makes a conscious effort to take it off, at which point it comes off pretty easily.She’s only a very occasional user of eyebrow pencils, so not an expert of different products, but she likes this one. It’s perhaps a little more than she’d normally expect to pay (currently £7),

I literally swear by this eyebrow pencil now. I have dark brown hair and brown eyebrows (what's left of them) which are very thin thanks to over plucking in the 90s. I use the ash brown shade and it is a perfect mid brown that avoids that "warm" effect that makes eyebrow pencil clearly fake. It is very thin so you can add small strokes to give amore natural effect and on the other end it has a spoolie so you can brush through the product with ease. If you want the tattoo brow effect you can still use this just press a little firmer. If using the small strokes you will find this lasts a while, mine usually lasts around 2-3 months and I use it every day. Gels can be used over the top as well,

This is the BEST brow product I have EVER used. I've tried the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow, Brow Definer, their Classic Brow Stencils (trying to make other productside work easier,) Covergirl's Brow and Eye Pencils, as well as the NYX Tame and Frame Tinted Pomade and none of them worked for me. But this is my holy grail. It's waxy and firm so I can decide how much product/pigment I want, the micro tip makes hair like strokes and defined lines, the spoolie is just the right size and the product blends wonderfully rather than rubbing off like a lot of others tend to do, the price is unbeatable, and now it only takes me 15 minutes max to do my brows, whereas it used to take an hour or more of fussing and cleaning up.

I like the style and the way that this pencil covers small areas is really easy and amazing, I have some areas of my eyebrows really without hair, but difficult to totally cover with a bigger pencil, because they are very small, this one is amazing for this, but after the application they don't really stay you have to pass the pencil a few times thought the area to really cover the surface.The design is good one side the pencil and the other one a little brush that helps to give form, to the eyebrows.Is really comfortable that you don't need to sharpen this pencil, but I don't know is going to be finished soon or is going to take longer to finish is really small.I have the Ash Brown and the colour suit me perfect,

I really like this product. It's easy to use to brush the brows, shape and fill in. I've tested it solo and with a brow fixing gel (Barry M), either way, it holds up well over the course of the day.The mechanical pencil end is easy to dispense and gives really good precision with filling, shaping or drawing brow hair, depending on your method/style. The super skinny pencil is greatly advantageous irrespective of your brow shape/size.The spoolie brush was perfect for my brows and softening any harsh lines I may have created. I don't have thin brows but neither are they Cara Delevingne bushy either so this simply gives them a better fill and shape.It also ticked the all-important box of being a vegan formula too.I got the Expresso colour which was perfect for my almost black brows.

My wife was kind enough to review this NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil for me:This is a really thin pencil for eyebrows, and it really is VERY thin, which I found much easier to use when filling in my mature and slightly sparse eyebrows. The colour I had was Espresso, and I'm naturally dark haired, so this was a really good match for me. The little spool brush at the other end is wonderful for getting the eyebrow hairs to lay exactly how you want them, and gives a really professional finish. Best of all for me was the fact that this product doesn't smudge. I'm always pushing my hair away from my face, and usually this wipes away half of my eyebrows by lunchtime!

I had never bothered much with my eyebrows for years. However, having seen several pictures with my eyebrows looking quite sparse and asymmetrical, I decided to finally give an eyebrow pencil a try. Having seen several reviews for this one, I decided to give it a go. Within a couple of weeks it has become a staple in my makeup bag- so easy to use for beginners and a great price.For anyone like me who was debating about colours, I have very very dark brown (almost black) eyebrows and I use the shade Ash Brown- if you're a beginner with dark brows like me and want a more natural look (filling in the sparser brow areas rather than shaping it) I'd recommend this shade.

Oh my goodness! This brow pencil is definitely a God Send...because it fine, its filling and it doesn't smudge (easily). I have about 18-25 hairs on my eyebrows and when I tell you, after using the Micro Brow Pencil that I feel like a new woman?! Man! Oh! and it never fails, someone always asks me, "Where do you get your micro-blading done?!" I know, I've got the best brow pencil evva! When COVID-19 hit, the ESPRESSO color was so very hard to find and when I did, I purchased all of them.!!! I use this eye pencil in the color "Ash Brown" every single day! Not only is it the perfect color for me but it is so easy to use and affordable. It is a very close comparison to Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil at HALF the price! I found that both eyebrow powder and eyebrow pencils that need to be sharpened leave brows too heavy, cakey, and dramatic. This product gives a natural look and by allowing you to easily control the amount that you are applying. My only complaint is that I run out of this product very quickly. I wish each pencil had either more product or was slightly cheaper so that I could buy two for the price of one. Overall,
