If you're looking for a space / planetary exploration game, where you get to choose your own path and direction in life, this game is a cracker. The design style is colourful and rich, with vast landscape vistas and detailed object interaction. The soundtrack is warm and varied, going from soothing and ambient to pulsing and upbeat. There are a number of storylines you can pursue, to figure out the whole truth of the universe, or you can build your own base, farm or space fleet and play with other online players.Overall the game is absorbing and broad with plenty to explore, discover and build. While some of the coding might not 100% perfect, I've not experienced anything to detract from gameplay (personally)and they are continually releasing updates to fix any issues. As a whole, for the price tag, this is game is superb value with plenty of wow-factor!

After all the updates since the initial launch i can say this is absolutely worth playing, there is now purposeful progression rather than an empty experience, some say the resource grinding is dull but i found it relaxing, the technology progression systems that get your ship off the ground and into space and exploring are a lot of fun and the UI is intuitive and informative without holding your hand, one gripe i will mention is frequent crashes when warping to other planets, but this has only dulled my fun a little and I'm still willing to play past this issue, graphics are vibrant with lots of colourful detail with a 1960s retro vision of space feel, the bottom line is I'm having hours of fun and you will too.

This game is a vast sandbox, filled with endless, spectacular vistas. If you love to explore, if you're the sort of person who always has to see what's over the next hill, then you can get easily get lost in the near-infinite possibilities here. But if you prefer more directed, linear experiences, then this probably isn't the game for you.Consistently improved since launch, the latest update brings a great VR implementation (though using PSVR there is a downgrade in graphical quality over playing normally), and better multiplayer.

Challenging for me as a new player waking in a strange environment having no clue as to what is happening, so it takes a few hours to find your way, scenery is a bit repetitive, usual shoot stuff to get your resources, then work out what to do with them, find and repair your ship and your off to moments of fun and then it's more find stuff make it and move on. This game will not appeal to environmentalists. How to make stuff takes a while to work out, but I'm sure it's a good brain exercise.

I can honestly see why this has been labelled one of the biggest comebacks in game history! I was going to buy this when it originally came out but after seeing the slew of terrible reviews I’m glad I gave it a miss when I did.I definitely waited till the right time before I made this purchase, I absolutely love it! The VR compatibility really is the icing on the cake, in fact it makes it easier when you are mining materials

Stunning game... I have played no mans sky on and off since 2016, this vr patch is an 80s child dream for space exploration. This game has continually grown and I have found myself sinking more hours into this game than any AAA game of the modern world! You've gotta love space and you've gotta love carving your own path to really enjoy this title.

this game is very good but there are some bugs in the game that stop me from finishing some side missions which is disappointing would have given this a 5 star if it didn't have these bugs which hold the game back from being perfect, should be reported but aside from the issues it is a very good game.

What an amazing VR experience love the interface the only let down was the visuals bit blurry compared to other VR games otherwise it would be 5 stars can see me sinking a lot of hours into this one.Update 50 hours in and still loving it 10/10 for game play, still let down by VR quality.

When this game first came out it didn't feel like it was ready, but since release Hello games have been working really hard to fix issues and improve it. And now it has been updated for Playstation VR and this is a great addition.Hours and hours of fun and exploration

I purchased this game at launch, I quickly gave it away. This year I dusted off the VR and noticed that NMS had many new updates and VR support. I again bought it, and have been enjoying it ever since. Moral of this story: don’t give your games away.

It's okay. It's a nice game to play for around 20-40h. Some nice, if samey, visual. Fun, if grundy gameplay. Continuous free updates add more and more detail to the game, which is great. Still not a masterpiece.6.5/10

9.11.2020

So this game is so advanced, there’s so much too take in. But this is a must for your collection of PSVR games. Flying your space craft is very tricky but once you get grips flying in no time. 5 star game all round

VR, worth playing in vr a bit blurry but u get used to it. The first review is abit unfair as aren't all games abit like that, do this to get that then do that to get this and so on.
