Not another NERF blaster you may say. However, this is the mega series, so the darts are bigger and bolder. It is similar to the Nerf Elite Retaliator but with the Strongarm blaster rotation mechanism. So, I guess it is the best of both worlds. If your children like Nerf then instinctively they will enjoy this brute.The bigger darts means less jamming and the mechanism seems to be robust.Not much else to say, but it is Nerf and young and big boys love it. It keeps them busy in the garden and they can re-enact what they desire.

Me and my lad love Nerf toys, we’ve had loads, all shapes and sizes, even the hand gun ones which are great.This is brill, it has a rotary barrel thing and takes Mega Whistler Darts, you get 10, I recommend you order a few more, you can hear the Whistler Darts as they go through the air.Ha a sort of pump action for turning the drum and the darts to fly, heck of a distance.Our first Mega Nerf but I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last, much to much fun not to add to our collection.

Great fun, the darts whistle through the air, but fly slowly and without much power, compared to n-strike darts. Good for indoor use or for younger kids (though large, its light and easy to pump) as the darts don't really hurt, even point blank in the face (as I found out personally).The darts are easier to keep track of, though more expensive to replace. Allows you to attach a 2-point sling, so you can keep this as a secondary, or just live out your Rambo fantasies.

We have a selection of NERF toys that both my kids (and the neighbours) love playing with in the garden but this is the first we have from the Mega series and it really is something to behold. These bigger darts have an impressive range (hence the need to play with the neighbours) but seem to load and fire even more effortlessly than standard. They pump load and when fired give a fun whistle as they zip through the air towards their, hopefully intended, target.

Personally, I haven't a clue about NERF guns, but my twelve year old nephew is over the moon with this one, and he's the expert!It's a huge thing that comes with ten darts. The darts are easy to load and fire and do seem to travel a very long distance - well judging from the amount of running about to retrieve them in my garden anyway!Huge cheers of joy and much fun to be had with this. It's a winner!

I'm 36 and I love this. It's supposed to be for my 5 year-old son but it's mine now. I get to lay down serious suppressing fire in our family skirmishes. The large whistling rounds strike fear in those at the wrong end of it. Robust and reliable. Brilliant fun. Kids also love it (when I'm at work and they can use it). Warning: where protective glasses - the rounds are painful if they strike the eye.

HUGE red Nerf gun with orange bullets. An impressively engineered piece from the much loved Nerf Gun family that would please any child (large or small!). The size alone is impressive but the speed and distance the bullets travel cannot help but put a smile on the face of the holder. I will purchase a family of them to enjoy a Nerf family Christmas. Let the games begin.

Move quick, this hurts!Easy to cock and fire.Loading is a bit of a chore as the drum is hard to spin to fill it up.Very accurate.A barrage of bullets and you know about every one.We all love this gun, especially mum who can get the kids to do anything with it in her hands! Mwah ha haah!A firm favourite.... just buy a lot of bullets!!!!!!

Big gun with room for extras; sights, straps etc. Great whistling rounds, (big). Boy loves it. Looks like Rambo. Great to see him laughing maniacally as he hunts imaginary bad guys. Has stood up to lots of abuse; dropped, banged, used as a bat. No stopping issues, no sticking rounds. Works every time.

Bought for my partner for Xmas he is 43! But I knew he would want to use the ones I bought for the kids so got him his own. Very happy with it, works well and easy to use, a good grown up size. Found it was easier to use than the small Nerf I got for my 4 year old, so now they both want it....lol!

Another well received gift from Santa! This gun is a lot of fun, and at a really good price too! It shoots real far and it has not jammed once. The bullets scream through the air, and are easy to find again because of the size of them. One of the best guns in our Nerf collection.

This has got to be one of the better Nerf guns around. Larger darts, reload action using the front grip and slam fire (ability to hold down the trigger and fire each dart by just operating the reload handle making for quick firing). But the best bit is no jamming of darts!

Son loves this. 4 year old may struggle to cock it, but a bit of practice soon builds up the required muscle. When the sponge rounds are released they whistle too. Get a pack of 10 spares too.

Great fun and encourages hand and eye co ordination. Need to be strict with use instructing not to aid at anybody. We used target tins which was good fun.

A good nerf gun to add to your collection my son loves this one as it seems to fire the darts faster than some other nerf guns out there.
