great little basket. love the detail on the printed boxes it make its much more enjoyable for my daughter to play that she pretends to read how long it takes (as she cant read yet) and then pops it in her microwave etc a lot of people stated with it being mostly boxes they crush easy and break easy this would be the case with any box and as my child is only 2 these accidents happen i just spent a night before Christmas with a couple of 35 pence rolls of foil making foil snakes scrunching it up then folding it back and forth say 4 times the length of the box each time snip that off pop it inside the box and tape each end shut.

This was a follow-up to my three year old Grandson getting a toy cash register. He was very pleased with it, and has spent quite a while going through the large quantity of goods inside. All the items are very well made and impressively detailed. Typical of anything made by the establised Casdon company. Great price too.My only problem was that, while I didn't mind paying the extra postage, the item had to be signed for, as it arrived within two days. This can be a problem, as we would sometimes miss the courier, resulting in a time-wasting and expensive journey into town to get the item. For something costing six quid, I would much prefer free or cheap postage and then wait a week or two.

was dilverd fast was slightly upset that the size wasnt what i espectid it was smaller, but overall that didnt matter to my 3yr old who was very happy with the pretend food and the basket its self, brillint for role play , on avarage it is played with every day along with the trolly and shop and cash till etc great gift to add to ur childs toys if they are into that type of role play,which most children are, i have sealed the pretend food boxing with tape as my child keeps opening them riping and not been able to put back together herself but i put that down to an age thing, all thoe was slightly upset with size was happy with price been cheap its worth every penny :)

I bought this for my niece for her Christmas as she was getting a little kitchen for her main present. My brother has told me that this is her favourite piece of kit, and loves doing her 'shopping' and 'stacking her cupboards'. The packets are of real food images and of well known brands so my niece knows her favourites. The boxes do crush easy because they are just cardboard, but that's understandable, and easily fixed with some tape etc.Fantastic for little kids imagination and role play. All packaging, boxes and tins, can be stored in the sturdy basket, or if like my niece it's all nicely stacked away in her cupboards ready to make dinner!

While reading other people comments on this item the same issue came up that the items where very small and not very good. I still ordered the item as it was exactly what I had been looking for. I ordered the item at lunch time Tuesday and the item was with me tea time today Wednesday. Well packaged and I am over the moon with the product. All the boxes are as they are in the shops very good prints for small items. Yes the items are small but they are designed for a child don't for get. They are perfect size for my son's till and he will have hours of fun playing with this product.

Oh my goodness this set! I uhmed and ahhed about buying this because I knew the size would be smallish.. however out of everything my youngest got for Christmas... THIS has been one of her favourites ! Such cute little items from well known brands, huge variety of things as well which she’ll line up in categories. I did worry maybe the basket wouldn’t withstand vigorous play from my boisterous child - but so far it’s help up brilliantly. For the price I really can’t fault it and it’s already given my girl hours of play so it’s been an absolute brilliant investment

I love the brand named items. If buying for a 2/3yr old you will need sellotape handy but older children will be more gentle while playing so great for them. The basket itself is rubbish so I only bought for the extra play items. The handles fall off after being bashed around a bit so I threw it away and class it more as packaging. I love that the boxes come pre-assembled as the Casdon shopping trolley and Casdon till have ones that are flat packed and the kids just wanted to play. Great value!

I brought this to go with the casdon supermarket, it's the same size basket which is included with the supermarket and has almost double the food by buying this too so my daughter will have plenty to play with. I wouldn't recommend to under 3s as they would most likely chew or rip the boxes. Although it's not massive, it's well worth the money as it's a tiny version of the real thing and my child will recognise a lot of whats on the boxes. Great role play. Highly recommend!

The cardboard boxes didn't last long, as my 2 year old destroyed them in the first few weeks, but everything else is really good. Older kids would probably be a lot less destructive. The print and pictures on the boxes are great though. They really look like ready meals and other bits! A really cute item to add to your kids kitchen accessories. My child has really enjoyed playing with it, and once he is out of the box destroying phase, I will certainly get another set!

Bought alongside the Bosch Theo Klein Breakfast Set.Unboxing this set first, I was shocked by the size of the items.But in relation to the kettle from the Bosch set these toys go perfectly together and are paired nicely in my daughter's kitchen.The detail on the boxes are near on true to the branding itself.4 stars given due to them being made from cardboard (but was aware on purchase) easily squashed.Good Description of product an overall great role play toy set.

Brought this as a christmas present for my little brother. Was quite shocked when it first arrived as it is a lot smaller than i thought but to be fair i didnt look at the measurements! It actually is a perfect size and he loves playing shops with it! The items are good but they are cardboard so i dont really know how long they will last! Not really sutiable for a young child as will get destroyed if put in mouth! Great for 2 year old thou. Hope this was helpful!

My 3 year old daughter got this for Xmas to go with her till. The boxes are cardboard but you can re enforce them by wrapping them in cello tape which I've had to do with my daughters boxes as we have a lot of trodden on flat boxes. But there just like real miniature versions of the shopping we buy in the supermarket and my daughter loves it and it is toddler sized so it is a smaller basket

- Got this to go with the Chip n Pin till- Smaller than I expected -- The food items are made of soft / light cardboard and not very durable, so will not survive had handling.- Good for small hands.- Like the face that that the item look the real packages that you can buy at the shops.- Only downside – my nephew tried to open then all to see if there was any food inside.

I was surprised how small this was and I will also say I have seen cheaper. However, it is worthy of 4 stars because it has some 'brands' that children can recognise, giving it some authenticity - to children at least. Also, the plastic shopping basket is not quite as flimsy as cheaper ones. My son was very pleased to add this addition to his little grocery shop.....he is 4!

This item is ideal for real life play. My son has a little till and he enjoys playing 'shop'! It has little versions of the bird's eye favourites! My son is a really fussy eater and often refuses meat. However, now he has been playing with the chicken dippers box in his play shop he will eat the real things! I'm astounded! A nice product at a reasonable price.
