Got this for my son age 10 and it's great for the whole family. It's easy to throw. It makes a whistle noise through the air. It's easy to catch. It's easy you carry when they don't want to play with it. It's light. The paint did come off the tip but this is caused by fiction when hitting the ground they product was not damaged at all. It's great you take on walks and the the parks Or even to play with the neighbours kids over the fence and hedges. Kids and adults loved it.

We run an Athletics club for 300 children from 6 - 11 years old. This is a fantastic product and learning tool for all types of throwing. The Vortex is easy to hold and flies really well and works for coaching up to the age of 13 pre javelin throwing.They are also great fun for family play on a beach or in the park.I am told not to mention the price but Argos are half that of many other companies which is an important saving when buying large quantities. Well done Argos!

Having purchased a cheaper alternative to this product and being totally annoyed that it fell apart in 10 minutes we purchased this and have been completely happy ever since. It is a great toy and is great to use. The whistling feature draws attention to whatever game you are playing (piggy in the middle, catch and throw - whatever!) and adds to the fun. We've used it on land and also in the pool with no problems. A great toy as a gift or for pocket money spending!

I bought two of the Nerf Vortex Aero Howlers for my twin grandsons 7th birthday. They loved them and found them easy to throw and one managed to make his Vortex Howl, whilst the other found it more difficult he really enjoyed the fun of throwing and will soon master the technique required.Good service from Argos and the click and collect worked well.They are light in weight yet appear strong so we are hoping for years of fun with them.

This toy is easy to catch and easy to aim, even in strong wind.Unlike balls, it hardly bounces so it's easier to use in a limited, but large, space. It's fairly soft so a direct hit won't damage people or robust possessions.The built in whistle is a nice touch to encourage fast throws and acts as a warning to bystanders.Children need to have mastered over arm throwing. My 10 year old can throw it further than I can!

Good weight, so can be thrown far, even in windy conditions. Seems quite sturdy, after a few sessions on a beach, although some of the paint has worn off the nose. Best thrown between kids or adults of similar strength, as an adult can throw it pretty hard and it can impact with a fair thump. We've used other cheaper makes which don't last long (normally the shaft breaks), so we are hoping this is worth the extra money.

This is a great product. Well made, durable and flys like a dream. I've already given it a good battering and it hasn't alter the quality at all yet. Great fun for anyone and easy to catch for those who struggle. It has a good whistle in it when it catches the wind. Bright colours look great and make it easy to follow in the sky and find in the long grass. Highly recommend.

We bought 2, 1nfor a present and the 2nd for our children. Both were received well, boys aged 8 and 10 had a great time playing with them. They are solidly built and easy to throw. The 'howler' does make a noise which adds to the play. Good points - they are light enough to throw and soft enough to not cause any pain when 'accidently' hit by one. Would recommend.

The Nerf Vortex is great fun for everybody, regardless of strength or aim!The kids love it because it makes a brilliant whistling noise and the adults love it because you can throw it absolutely miles without fear of hurting anybody else or damaging property.All in all we're very pleased with our purchase and will definitely by it again.

this is a great outdoor toy for older kids and adults (just try getting one out at a family/friends BBQ or picnic and see what happens!)Also good as a javelin training tool.2 for £15 is also the best price that I was able to find online anywhere, and as I could walk down to pick them up there was no postage costs either.

We collected this from the local store fast track lane the same morning . I was in and out of the store in 2 minutes . Then off to a deserted part of the beach to practice with the vortex howler Father’s Day present. Great way for a grandad to exercise, throwing, then retrieving. Glad we bought it as it will get plenty of use.

A great product - kids aged 12 and 8 are very happy to play with this in the public park. The howler is not very loud but good enough. For kids my age, back garden is a restricted area to play with this toy if want to utilize the full range. Will surely recommend to children inspired by javelin throw at olympics :-)

This toy has been used extensively since we bought it. Everyone has great fun lobbing it around. It makes the simple classic game of 'catch' much more challenging and engaging. Hearing the whistle over-head adds to the thrill. Easily supplants the frisbee as my new favourite for taking to the park.

My 8 year old son loves this and so does his younger 4 year old brother! They both enjoy throwing it as far as they can to make it howl. They compete with their friends. We seen the product first at our schools junior sports day. Great buy, different to throwing and catching a round ball.

Kids struggling with the ability to throw and catch should be introduced to this product, it doesn't matter if you throw under arm or over arm you can get the nerf ball to hum! Practical to take anywhere and it isn't virtual reality on a game console it requires actual physical movement!
