Bought two of these as a joke for my 19 year old son. Little did I know they'd be so popular. Hes taken them to uni where they get loads of use in nerf battles around campus. They feel quite robust, if a little smaller than I'd imagined. They've had plenty of use and haven't broken yet. The laser sights have proved quite popular. These have been great for a giggle at uni for my son and his mates. I would recommend them. Proof that your never really too old for a nerf battle.

So I bought this Nerf gun for protection against home invasion from my cats. They gang up and terrorise the neighbourhood. They carry zombie nerf guns and aren’t afraid to use them. I needed something small but powerful. All I can say is I was pleasantly surprised by the power of this shooter. Easy to lock and load for most combat situations I couldn’t ask for more from this weapon system. If you need nerf, you need Nerf N-Strike Elite Firestarter, accept no substitutes.

Son has massive colkection of nerf guns, got this for him as his sister got a pony, need to be fair you know, now gun us easy to load and has a powerful shot, red dot function actually accurate ( depending on location you sre shooting in eg wind blows darts of course) not for full on nerf war but good for a quick stealth kill or just irritating the son when he being a lazy so and so, good for the smaller nerf fans as not as big others and ease of loading, enjoy

We've bought two of these now so he can keep one at his grandparents, one of the best nerf guns - not too big and bulky so 7yr old van use easily, seems to fire with more power than some if the bigger ones too (we also have the tri-strike which is fun but very cumbersome). The laser light adds a nice feature and is fairly accurate on target. Also the dog loves to chase it around the floor (we guide her to a hidden doggy treat!) so doubles up as a pet toy :-)

This Nerf blaster might only be small but it fires a fair distance. It is smooth to use and the noise of the 'blast' once the trigger is pulled is quiet too - not hurting sensitive ear drums, big bonus!The laser has a separate trigger and is easy to use, though not so easy to see in daylight.The only downside to this Nerf is it only holds 1 dart at a time, so you have to load after every blast. There is space to store two darts underneath though.

Bought several of these Nerf N-Strike Elite Firestrike Blaster's as gifts over the past few months for 5yr old boys birthday parties. Our own boys love playing Nerf, the youngest having done since aged 2 (whilst wearing the approved safety goggles of course, and not with any of the rapid fire automatic guns). Some of the range are more difficult to lock 'n' load, but this gun isn't as "stiff". The Nerf series is great fun for kids and adults alike!

Bought as a moving-in present for my girlfriend (we're both in our 20s). Already avoided two arguments by just shooting each other instead.Simple to use, just pull back the spring lever until it clicks, load and pull the trigger. Haven't tried using the laser sight. Single shot only with storage for two darts under the barrel. Packs a punch though, surprisingly powerful so avoid face shots if you like being in a relationship!

I love that this gun shows you roughly where your dart will go but the laser isn’t at all accurate. Once you’ve shot the darts a few times they bend slightly which does mean it’s a lot less accurate. If it wasn’t for the laser being so inaccurate then this would be a great little nerf gun firing out darts quickly. Having 2 spare darts in the front of the guns makes for quick and easy reloads. Brilliant to add to my collection

I have bought this hun for the sun of my cousin and he really liked it. However, he wasn't the only one to like it as me and my cousin (both well over 30!!) have enjoyed shooting at each other and at different targets.As a result, I ended up buying another two for my daughters who really love it and using now all the time.Great product! Great quality! Easy to use and lots of fun!

The firestrike is a great gun with excellent range. It is perfect for target practice due to its aiming lasor though as the lasor is only short range, lasor aiming will not work that well mid-range and not at all long-range. When the gun is fired the dart has reached its target almost instantly if fired short-mid range. I recommend this product as a small short-range sniper toy.

This little gun is a perfect little starter item for those who don't mind their kids having shooting toys but, don't want to get into the whole massive guns loaded with gadgets! Great for round the house as it's small and can easily manoeuvre with it where as the big ones are really outdoor toys. Good overall, Great price, well made, good for a quick last minute present too!

Bought this along with two others and this one is very powerful for a six year old, as an adult the bullets are quite strong and so we use these gins for target practise as they would hurt if using as play fighting, I got one accidentally in my eye and it was sore. There was an offer at Argos and so bought both for a tenner which were great value guns and good reviews too.

I was wary at the price of this but did bundle it ( 2 for £15) but I was surprised. It was brought as a birthday present and greatly appreciated and accepted. Hour's of fun by children and adults alike!! Went online, reserved, collected, job done. Even down to the wrapping paper (which I'd forgotten) as it was by the till when I paid for my purchase!!. Great idea Argos. :)

Both the adults and the kids enjoyed using the gun to shoot a target at a birthday party. Before letting the kids use it, we did assess what damage can be done if the 'bullet' hits a person. Even from a rather close range (~3ft) it feels like a pinch. Quite safe for kids to use under supervision.The laser is not very accurate but a nice featureAll in all, good buy

I bought a couple of these Nerf N-Strike Elite Firestrike Blaster's, I am really happy with them, a lot more powerful than I would of expected therefore I would advise against point-blank to close range and caution to be taken with younger children, but still an awesome product. The trigger laser is a great feature and accurate to about 3 cm from target. Brilliant!
