My son was very pleased with this. I generally find the manual guns fire darts more rapidly and faster than the battery operated ones. The cartridge is easy to remove and put back in. The reason we got this is because my son likes the barrel sliding action needed to prep each dart for firing, rather than just pulling the trigger each time. There is a flap which can be opened to remove any jammed darts. This blaster is very good and highly recommend it. Best one we have for function and features and faster firing than our large battery motor powered one.

Not quite as powerful as the blurb makes out - but plenty for indoor battle with the family. I'm not convinced about the front handle as I find it easier to cock and fire without it. The stock gives it a better balance, though, and the barrel extension helps accuracy.I've since uprated the spring (to see what difference it could make) and it certainly lives up to claims. However, it's now too powerful for any battles in the house - you wouldn't want to hit anyone closer than 10yds or so. Fine for long range fire, though!

We found these guns to be brilliant and highly worthy of the Nerf Brand. Reading the 1 star reviews I note a lot of folk are having difficulty in releasing the bullet clip... if you cock the mechanism back (half-cocked) the clip will release a lot easier, reload it and then slide the cock forward to arm. My little boy can do it with ease. Happy Shooting :-)

Im a 19 year old student and absolutely love it. Great toy, love using it and great to annoy your housemates with it. Good clip size and easy to use, haven't had any issues with it.Strongly recommend if looking for a nerf gun

My son likes this a lot, the only drawback is that you have to take your hand of the front handle to cock the gun for each shot, so the handle is basically pointless except for styling.

From a long range rifle to a small handgun this is a nice addition to a nerf gun collection allowing a range of sizes in one gun. Perfect for kids.

Great gun, great accuracy.Especially the way it can be made into smaller or larger guns depending on the set up of your battle ground.. ?

It's Nerf Gun? Of course it's great value for money, great fun and easy to use. More importantly, my housemates hate me for having this!

Slide jams a fair amount on the darts - need to make sure the magazine is loaded evenly and you work the slide positively.

Bought for our grandson who let us know what he would like as a birthday gift, he loves it having great fun
