First impressions are pretty good. Close inspection shows that this is pretty much an upgraded Retaliator with added stock, rails and a new style trigger guard.It has a six shot magazine and to reload you’ll need to use the slide on top. However it is single shot and there is no slam fire capability. The stock is not adjustable and really quite short, while this looks good you may find it is pretty much useless unless you are the size of a six year old.You will most likely hold this as a pistol rather than a rifle.Other than that, it is fairly accurate, it has lots of accessory rails ,is no worse for power than any other Nerf and it definitely looks the part. The front section can be removed which shortens the barrel.

I read several reviews before i purchased this,the reviews were not good compared to other nerf guns. But my two 6 years old like it. He can build their own blaster for each mission or battle with the Nerf Modulus Recon MKII blaster. He can customise the blaster with the stock and barrel extension to create 4 different versions of the blaster. Whether it's a stealth operation, close quarters battle, or long-range targeting, the Recon MKII blaster can be configured for the next Nerf mission. He load the blaster with the 6-dart clip and he is ready to head into action.over all it is a good nerf blaster but it is a little hard to handle - 4*

Bought a pair of these so I could shoot back at the child. The Nerf gun itself is sturdy, well designed and well built. The Nerf gun is a pump action type, self loaded from a removable 6 Nerf dart receiver. The stock and front of the Nerf gun can be removed to change it from a rifle to a handgun. The Nerf gun has 3 mounting points for adding accessories, this where I found fault with the Nerf gun. The mount on the right hand side of the gun above the receiver, can catch the users hand when they are sliding the top slider to reload.

Bought this as I wanted a Nerf Modulus blaster to shoot at various targets ( at the moment empty plastic pop bottles!) & chose the Recon Mk 2 as it was only a couple of pounds dearer than the Modulus Mediator, & I am impressed - the included attachments are easy to attach & remove & the pump action is strong yet smooth. I did spend some time working out how to remove the ammo clip, but got there in the end! Also I like the side rail - I use it to attach the grip from the Modulus Stealth Ops kit.

We have a few Nerf guns around the house. We had got the retaliator but found this slightly big for our 8 year old so we got him this. It's a perfect size for him and loves that he can change the clips. We have the 6, 12 and 18 clips and they all fit this gun perfect. I bought this gun as it doesn't need batteries and uses a spring action like the retaliator. You can swap over the barrel and the stock with other guns. I would recommend this gun to anyone.

Absolutely the best Nerf gun I've bought. Accuracy is very good, best of all my Nerf guns, Zuru X-Shot is still top for accuracy.More importantly no jams, this Nerf Gun hasn't jammed once, unlike other Nerf guns.The absolutely awesome thing about this Nerf Gun is the mods. All parts fit other guns, and all but one dart magazines fit. I also got the Nerf B7169 °F03 Modulus Grip Blaster, it completes this gun. By far my number one best Nerf buy.

Bought this because I wanted to start collecting Nerf guns and this was a good price. The attachments are easy to attach and once on are secure. I especially like the stock - it fits comfortably into my shoulder. The only modification I've done so far is I've swapped the original 6 round magazine for an 18 round magazine. All in all this is a good basic Nerf gun which is an idea introduction to the world of Nerf.

Good little gun, my son has a vast collection of nerf guns this is always my go to gun when we have family battles, it shoots quickly and easy to reload, took us a while to work out how to remove the ammo cartridge thought it was broken but you have to pull back asif you were going to shoot it but don't pull it forward and the ammo cartridge will come out when you press the button.

Bought two of this to shoot at separate zombie target, set up as game for daughters zombie birthday party.Arrived promptly, well packaged and easy to set up and start firing.Only downside, as mentioned previously, darts have a tendency to get stuck, and though easily enough to remove, we have damaged some, although this was rectified by purchasing(via amazon) additional dart set

This is my first purchase from the modulus line. I have to say im really impressed. Looks great works well. I was a little concerned that It was the old stock with the magazine issues but when it arrived it was clear that it was part of the second production run. This was great news as I have some round drum magazines that I wished to use.

A perfect NERF gun.Apart from the fact that it jammed tight on the second NERF pellet and it then had to be taken apart and reassembled from scratch.This thing has springs in it. I can’t advise of taking it apart unless you have a PhD in engineering.

This is an epic blaster. I love the magazine, the way you can clear foam jams and the sheer deadly nerfiness of it. I am now a force to be reckoned with in the nerf wars

At the start the blaster was jamming, but then I changed the clip to a 18 round clip and it works perfectly fine now. Just make sure you buy an extra long clip.

Brilliant, well made and very reliable, the magazine(NOT CLIP PEOPLE GET IT RIGHT) is redesigned and more comfortable than the older ones.

Good quality nerf products. Sturdy and stand up to abuse of kids (and the occasional drunken adult). Easy click together, and great fun!
