UPDATE: As it was the cheaper option, I modified my Bigshock to remove the offending spring. It's a straightfoward mod and all you need is a medium Philips screwdriver & a pair of long-nose pliers, or similar. I've uploaded a photo.Like the Nerf Jolt that is its ancestor, the Neft Mega Bigshot has a performance that belies its price. It shoot accurately and powerfully and is a great little gun Mine, however has developed a fault: As the mega darts have been used, they have become a little compacted in use (probably due to the loading mechnique of the Mega Magnus, which squeezes them through a slot as you load. Anyway, the Bigshock now does not fire, as the spring damper, that inhibits dry-firing,

My son loves this gun. It only comes with two bullets and they are the big, mega type, however you just put the bullet in the front, pull back the trigger and off it goes.My 10 year old said it is sometimes quite hard to pull back the trigger but its really powerful and because it's so small you can dive around the house with 3 of them tucked in your belt. He uses his big, multishot ones as well but this has definitely got it's place among his favourites!!Bullets can be found at

I bought one eachof these for my 17year old son and my husband as a bit of a joke Christmas present. We’re now in March and they still have shootouts with them on a daily basis. Suprisingly accurate and have a long range. When my son was younger he had lots of different nerf guns but thinks this beats them all because it’s so small yet powerful. Good for all ages

This is a great little gun at a really good price. The bullets go very far for saying how small the gun is! Can be difficult to pull back for smaller kids.As usual with nerf guns seems well made..All my boys love their nerf guns and so I often buy them as presents... this does the job very well.

Bought these for the party bag at my sons 10th birthday party. Great end to our Nerf war party. Parents were happy they got one great items and not lots of little bits. They make a great whizzing noise and the bullets shot pass. Sturdy and easy to use for adults and kids. Lots of fun

My son asked for this for christmas. I was surprised he did as he has lots of the large nerf guns. I got it for him and it's brilliant. I love the fact that it's small so takes up less room. It is so powerful it fires the bullet a long way and easy to carry around.

Lots of fun over Christmas with these need guns. I brought 4 for the family and had lot of fun and laughter. They do go at one he'll of a speed and be careful of eyes, but these are good value and well worth the fun

For a Mega shock gun, this is really nice and compact. It was getting a little embarrassing having a huge six shot launcher on my desk at work. This, I can just have two shots ready to go when the need arises :)

My Grandson was delighted to receive this for his birthday? And although it wasn't a suprise as he'd asked for it he couldn't wait to unwrap it and test its firing power, great but thank you.Ps we all got shot

Simple cheap fun... My son loves this Nerf version as much as a large pricier one, due to the special large whilstler bullets that 'scream' as they fly a good distance...

Nice chunky bullets for hands which are not as agile, one of m grandsons likes to do the same as the others but is not as able this is a great choice for him

suggest buying this for kids that are happy to aim at targets and not each other as its quite strong!please vote as helpful, if of course, it helped!

Once shot my girlfriend in the eye with this bad boy, we aren't together anymore... she has one eye... great for kids would definitely recommend

Nerf or nothing! I'm forty and i should know better but nerf guns are so much fun! Stress released everytime I pull the trigger on this gun...

They say this is a kids toy.... but no way!! i love zapping unsuspecting people in the office with this!!! the Mega Nerf is amazing!!
