I bought this for my 7yr old son for christmas. I need not have bought any other presents as this one is never off the wii. To explain how much he likes it, I will tell you in his own words."I love this game so much that I could burst like a balloon. The race courses are brilliant and my daddy is still trying to learn the first track at the moment. We do team racing and I keep beating him. I love this game although my mum won't let me play as often as I want to."The game is suitable for ages 7 to 70. Although its easy to race, there are harder tracks as you go through the game. The controls are adjustable. You can use the wii remote in the normal way, with a nunchuk or in a wheel.

Got this game recently for my son who is car mad. The game itself is quite entertaining with lots of different (mostly made up) tracks to choose from, and loads of cars too. The style of game is very much street racing based and is quite similar to games you see in the arcades. There is also a challenge mode and the option to play multi-player.Like quite a few of the NFS games, you cannot use the Wii wheel to steer. This is a bit of a pain but after a short while you get used to it and its not a problem.Graphics and sound are standard Wii quality so ok for most people.We've got a few racing games for the Wii including Mario Kart, F1 2009 and NFS The Run. Nitro compares favourably to all of these so that is a good sign.Overall,

I can't rate and recommend Need For Speed Nitro highly enough! The graphics and soundtrack are equally impressive. Crucially, I found NFS Nitro very easy to literally 'pick-up and play' and launch right into the game, without having to overcome difficult or cumbersome controls.I use the Nintendo Wii Wheel to play NFS Nitro - I haven't as yet tried the other methods - although NFS Nitro is compatible with virtually all controller methods so you're bound to find one that suits. Overall, NFS Nitro is a fantastic driving game which gets the adrenaline pumping.

WOW! That about covers it really. This game is awesome fun, and a good indicator of just what the wii can do regarding racing games!. The graphics remind me of Hotwheels cars with their exagerated back wheels and squat stance. It moves at an amazingly fast pace, powersliding is easy and a joy, especially with full nito on at bthe same time!!. The car editor is a fun addition and hours alone can be spent there customizing the cars. Well worth the money!

This game really does fit well into the Wii series of games. The style of evey thing is cartoon. That is how the characters, cars and scenery have all been drawn. It's also a different style of play which is quite nice considering the Wii is designed to be a fun family console. I only remove one start because even considering what I've mentioned it doesn't add up to the quality I've seen in other Need For Speed titles.

Played all need for speeds on wii and this one is my favorite. gameplay and menu controls are far simpler than the others, its a completely different look to the NFS series, multiplayer is far better, graffix are cartooney but in a good way, like mario kart, the freeepaint mode is wicked as is the car selection,drift it up with nitro!

This game is very simple so it's good as a party game, because there is almost no learning curve. Graphics could be better, but it's still pretty. This game is not very hard so it won't keep you busy for long time, but it's fun. I recommend it to every arcade racer fan.

This was a birthday present for my teenage son although we all (younger sisters included) enjoy playing it. This can make even the most mild mannered person very competitive. I would definatley recommend this to anyone who enjoys racing games.

I bought this game after reading such positive reviews. I have played the Arcade level with my kids, we all love it. Just started on career level so just a novice at the moment but so far I'm very pleased with the game.

Great fun for ALL ages. Follow your own career and buy,design/paint and race your own car, or just simply race in arcade mode. Crash, repair, get chased by police, drift around bends....WOW. Just buy it and see.

I received this product from the post woman this morning need for speed nitro. I've actually like the set up of this game. It's quite similar set up to hotpersuits.
