tl;dr quality jacket for cold weather. Pay attention when selecting size as Skidoo2 now appears to have a narrower fit.I was skeptical to purchase the Skidoo2 as there are reports that the quality of Cordura and stitching were sacrificed in lieu of profits by napapijri's new owners VF Corp. Having the original Skidoo and this newer version in hand I can confirm that those rumors are baseless, and the garment does in fact feel as robust - if not more rugged than the original.I fully expect this newer model to last as long as the previous one. My OG Skidoo has traveled to the arctic circle, patagonia and the antarctic; endured climbing expeditions in the alps and rockies; and thrashed off piste countless times without a hitch.

I have 2 napapijri rainforest jackets which I love. I also have a skidoo open front jacket which I also love (bought cheap second hand)I had always coveted the skidoo overhead jacket but wasn't prepared to spend £395 (RRP from napapijri) on a jacket.I'd took a couple of punts on used ones on eBay only to be disappointed with counterfeit products which took PayPal disputes to get my money refunded.I was looking on Amazon and saw this for £202 and thought it was too good to be true. I took a punt but fully expected to be disappointed again.How wrong I was!This is an original/genuine product at almost half price. It is amazing, warm,

Jacket runs rather large size down if you don’t want to look like a”stuffed traffic cone “This is what I got called by my kids but I really like the colour it’s not my usual safe choice black/any dark colour. Very pleased otherwise

Excellent jacket,really top quality ! I have a few north face coats including the mcmurdo parka,and I would liken this jacket to that type of insulation.Very impressed with the price and quality

A fantastic jacket. It performs perfectly. Snowboarding in a blizzard halfway up a mountain kept me dry and warm. Can’t recommend it enough.
