Heavier overall than the Aeron’s range, with double stitching down the main support seams and slighlty more insulation meant that this Articage jacket provided more value for money as winterwear. The fact that it's not duck or goose down means that my woolly jumpers dont get little bits of feather attached when i take the jacket off. Small point, I know, but it helps. The jacket length is fine and sits on my waistline. The elastication keeps the jacket in position and helps keeps the wind out. For wetter weather, I’d definitely have a waterproof outer to go on top of the jacket - and even that doesnt look too bulky.Overall,

This jacket is great. It is very light despite being very warm.
