I have had this for 4 months now, which is past the milestone i set of 3 months to write a review, as that is when my Scuf had to be sent back to be fixed. and then a further 2 times in the space of 1 year. I decided to look for alternatives, after much deliberation I chose Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro. I use it mainly on PC, but also PS4.The Sticks:Out the gate I had to play with the sensitivity of the Nacon as it was crazy loose, there was no resistance on the sticks like you get with Scuf/ps4 controllers. However after playing with the sensativity (lowering sensativity) I found it so much better, it felt smooth and what i imagine playing with mouse would be like. The sticks are positionally different, more like an xbox controller, which I used to prefer and took a few days to adjust back to it.2 styles of sticks come with it domed/concave, I use both, dome on the left stick and concave on the right. Also comes with 3 different sizes of stick, when i purchased it i assumed it was differences in height, unfortunately its the thickness of the sticks that is different. I have no idea what i would use the thicker versions for, I am sure its for a reason. I did try it on a shooter, but it doesnt allow for full movement. This is the only disapointment; height of sticks would be prefered over the thickness.Back Buttons:Main reason I chose this was to try 4 back buttons rather than than the 2 had before. My grip of the controller only allows me to use 3 of the buttons without it feeling awkward, i struggle with the bottom button with my right hand. This is not a reflection of the controller but of me.The back buttons are very responsive, it has just enough resistance that im not hitting them accidently. Positionally they are good for me. One of the buttons has developed a little squeek every now and then when i press it, however it has not effected the performance of the button.Triggers:Well this is where this controller really comes into its own for me, which was surprising as I didnt give this area a high priority at all. I was playing fortnite with this controller, as you will likely know it requires a lot of building, and the response time of hitting the triggers was really noticeable. It felt like I was using keyboard buttons on a controller, and its something i never noticed on scuf/ps4 controllers, but they have a slight delay when using the triggers compared to this.Software:You can have 4 profiles set for PC and 4 more profiles for PS4. Which makes it easier to switch games as you wont need to remap everytime, especially if you have 4 games that you regularly rotate, or 8 if you have both PC and ps4.The software offeres more customisation with trigger sensativity, stick sensativity, deadzones and button mapping for back buttons.Build:It feels real nice, sturdy and has good weight to it. It comes with 3 different weights that you can change, personally I am not using any additional weight. I use it most days and it has no wear on the sticks of the where my hand wraps around the controller. The triggers are sturdy also, which is novel as every controller I have had the R2 button has always been problematic, not here though!USB Connector:2m long and strong.4 months of daily use, if problems arise I will edit this. Until then, its the best controller I have used!Games I have played with this controller:CODFortniteFall GuysTony HawksThe Last of Us IIHorizon Zero Dawn

I have had the elite for a year now, great controller, I wanted something like it for my ps4GOOD- Ergonomics seems great, the controller is bigger than the dualshock, joysticks are better positioned- The controller feels strong and the material is nice in the hand, doesn't feel plastic- Joysticks feel great, triggers feel great too- The choice of weights is a good idea, but the covers for it should have been more discrete, you only choose the weights once, there was no need for accessibility here- R1 and L1 feel different too, more like a mouse click, I like it, they have easier reach- Face buttons feel good- Sound quality from headphones is fantastic,I haven't tried a microphone yetBAD- The extra 4 buttons in the back I press them accidentally every time I push the triggers, they are in a bad location, should have been like on the Elite- Cant remove the back buttons, Elite wins here you could chose 0, 2 or 4 and they are stuck magnetically- Joysticks are not magnetic like on elite- No adjustable joystick heights- No manual locks for the triggers- Cant switch on the console with the controller- Needs the usb adapter for the wireless, ridiculous, its a sony licensed controller, Elite wins again- The cross doesn't seem nice at all, one of the worse crosses on any controller, even the stock xbox is better- The convex joystick tops are too small, so weird, the ps3 had better convex joysticks- Controller has no led light for VR, so if you want VR you cant use this- Controller has no speaker, some games use it- Battery life is poor for this price, nowhere near the Elite, not even half- Cant change the light brightness like on the dualshock- Cant remove the intrusive joystick light on ps4 mode- If you use ps4 mode 2, you will hit the button in the back accidentally and change mode accidentally- The carrying case is cheap, nowhere near the quality of the Elite- The controller came in a cheap plastic amazon bag, strange for such a price they usually use a strong box, this means my controller box is damaged, like something second hand from ebay- The choice of angles on joystick are useless, most games you need the full motion- No choice of a cross like on xbox which has 2 magnetic cross, 4 ways, 8 ways- Cant swap batteries like on the elite, if you run out of battery you need to play wired, not on the elite which you just swap a battery while the other is on charge- Controller takes a long time to charge compared to stockCONCLUSION - I raised my rating to 5 stars, because honestly this is way better than the stock ps4, I was even thinking getting rid of ps4 just because of the controller, now I'm in love with the console again.Despite the many flaws, it tops both ps4 and xbox stock controllers by far.

I decided to treat myself to the Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro after wanting to upgrade my standard PS4 controller. I mainly play Rainbow Six Siege and heard the Nacon 'Pro was ideal for FPS and it doesn't disappoint. It's expensive, but having had mine for a couple of months now, I can honestly say that it's worth the price.Naturally, there's an initial adjustment period of going from the PS4 controller to the asymmetrical design. But if you're playing regularly, you very quickly adapt and get used to layout/design of the Nacon. It won't take long to appreciate just how well made and designed the Nacon is - it makes the PS4 controller feel flimsy and cheap in comparison. The Nacon feels chunky to hold, the buttons have a satisfying click to them and the sticks feel very accurate and sturdy.Overall the Nacon feels solid and much more comfortable to use. I've only remapped some of the trigger buttons on the back of the controller (which is simple to do, plus there are tons of YouTube tutorials on how to do this). This has made my FPS experience a lot better. I haven't tried the downloadable software yet, but I personally don't feel the need to make further customisations to the controller, I'm very happy with the basic remapping. But it's reassuring to know that I can make further tweaks if I want to.The controller comes with three different weights and I found that the heaviest ones are perfect. The controller sits comfortably in my hands and I do think it makes a difference when gaming. There are also three different sizes of thumbsticks which affect your deadzones, a choice of concave or domed thumbpads too - all of which I've played around with to find the sweet spot to my liking. The cord USB-C cable feels solid too - it plugs into a small cavity in the controller which feels much more secure than how it dangles from the PS4 controller. The actual manufacture of the unit is worth talking about too - it has a matte finish and slightly rubberised grips, so it feels so much nicer to hold. The buttons/triggers are chunkier and it makes gaming much more of a tactile experience - this in itself makes your gaming experience feel a lot better.Overall, if you're playing a lot and if you can afford the hefty price, it's worth splashing out on. I can't go back to my old standard controller as it feels inferior now.

I have been looking for a control pad I can use on all platforms, wirelessly and wired, with the ergonomics and layout of the X box controller but with PlayStation button prints. This is it!Pros,So as I have said, the ergonomics are inspired by the X box pads. It is really comfortable to hold. The soft touch plastic is great for my sweaty hands. The extra buttons on the inside take some getting used to and it takes a while to find the perfect mapping but once you find that sweet spot it is a god send for FPS games. The buttons look and feel solid with great tactile feedback. The pad comes with a case full of optional mods. Interchangeable sticks and weights. This is a HUGE upgrade from my standard PS4 controller.Cons,The soft touch plastic is awesome but also becomes a major fingerprint magnet although, a cleaning cloth is provided, it takes a while to clean. After changing the sticks, the R3 or L3 can become a little strange, normally restarting the controller fixes this. The software and how the button mapping is done is a major downside for this pad. It takes a while to learn the ins and outs of how to map the buttons for the different modes. You need a Windows device to use the software, not sure for mac users. There are however, plenty of tutorials online. The Price,If this ever drops under £100 it is definitely worth the purchase. At its current price it will definitely be overlooked due to other more established competing controllers. I unfortunately can’t compare it to competitors as this is the first high end pad I have used. I primarily bought this for its ergonomics, PS4 buttons and compatibility with multiple platforms which competing devices don’t have. If you are buying this for FPS tournaments, I would get a device dedicated to the platform you game on.For me though, this is a great pad.

I mainly play mw multiplayer and warzone and wanted a controller with extra buttons to try to improve my gameplay. This was the closest controller I could see without investing too much money into it and the controller reviews were mainly good. The pros;2 months in and the physical quality is really good, everything functions as I expected. The flexibility to alter the controller settings is incredible and I have tried various configurations. You can also charge the controller from a usb point, (you don’t have to connect to the PS4)Battery life for me is around 7 hours which is fine. The cons;Only one main one for me and this is possibly as I have big hands and I am also so used to PS4 controllers,is the left joystick position and the back buttons..They have adopted the Xbox layout which I find really awkward to use and end up contorting my hand to try and use the additional back buttons which doesn’t feel great. The additional back buttons are also quite small and flush with the body so I have had to set the two buttons close to each other to do the same task as I just can’t feel each one separately. If I can overcome the contorted hand issue I may glue something onto these back buttons to make them stand out more but won’t do that yet as I may just sell this on if I can’t overcome the stick layout. The software to make adjustments is fine but the logic for why you are making the adjustments isn’t very obvious. Fortunately there are owner tutorials on YouTube to help this. Conclusion;I think this is a really good controller especially for Xbox users and those who can make the transition. For me it would be ideal if the stick layout was as PS4 and the back buttons were more prominent.Hope this helps.

I'm one of the seemingly rare people who don't like the dualshock 4, though i loved the DS3; I never found it comfortable, then L3 started playing up, which sucked all the fun out of gaming, so I did my research and this looked like it would fit the bill and more...I wasn't too sure about this purchase at first, cause it's painfully expensive compared to the DS4 and it didn't immediately rock my world when i gave it a first go. I got over my buyer's remorse pretty quickly though, once I'd taken a bit of time to tweak settings with the software application and realised that all the fancy bits also work with PS3 (including wireless operation),which was a very welcome surprise as it doesn't mention anywhere that it would. The ergonomics are great, and the various accessories are solid too. A couple of things I'd like Nacon to change before I'd rate it 5* are: a more intuitive interface for the software, and adjustable hardware stops to adjust the pull distance on L2 & R2. If i can dream, as i'm not sure if it's even possible for them to add it, but also having a way to configure it so that the left stick could also map to L3 at its furthest limit (so you could 'auto run') would make it perfect. The price has dropped from £150 as i write this (so it's slightly less painful) but noone would grumble if it was cheaper still, of course...

Excellent controller the full customisation for the controller is brilliant I love the layout and comfort of the app I have no faults with. In game gaming sticks/buttons/bumpers and triggers all responsive the full range of motion is great and the added weights and extra sticks help alot simply remove and click into place. The weights go at the bottom remove cover and place weights to your preference. The battery life is really good, on wireless mode I was able to play a day and half without being on charge you can also check battery life by pressing the mute button at the back of the controller, and where the profile indictors are in the middle will light up showing how much battery life you have.I believe this is a pro controller for the PS4 without any hesitation. You will hear alot of negativity about this controller saying "it has stick drift, it doesn't work to hard to customise. Make your mind up but to date I haven't had any issues what so ever. For the price it's a fair price. The ergonomic and comfort feels great and best of all the sticks are laid out as the Xbox style controller. You can add profiles from there site and choose one to your liking from overwatch to Apex. You will have to make an account on Nacon to use this feature and the app but it's quick and easy. Seriously out of 10 I will give it 10/10

I purchased this a few weeks back as I had the xbox elite but couldn't use it on the ps4.The actual controller is sturdy and well built. Great texture and feel. Traditional xbox layout which I think is far superior for fps.It also has tension and deadzones which you can set if you want to as well as different size joystick.Yes it has a dongle. It's a receiver to use if you want wireless (what were people expecting?).After playing Days Gone, God of War on ps4 as well as AC on PC I really like it.Downsides; As some people have stated the button placement on the back is close together. I dont personally find this to be too much of an issue but certainly having a braille type raised dot on thebottom two would quickly help distinguish between the 2 bottom and 2 top buttons.Changing the shortcut buttons on the back on the fly whilst in ps4 mode is an excellent feature(especially as you already have 4 preset memory slots)... one not available when in PC mode??.. you have to use their software meaning you have to back out of games to do it. Software is ok but clunky.. and make sure you set atleast 1 profile before starting otherwise you'll waste 20 minutes trying to change settings thatb wont save.Overall. An excellent option if you're a PS4/PC gamer. Certainly on par with xbox elite.

I bought this, not blind but with some idea of what it was like. Basically I was after a new controller and saw this for cheaper than anywhere else so ordered. Here is my break down of pros and consPros * Feels fantastic to hold* Comes with a plethora of extras (weights, tops, middles, case cable)* Paddles. Some may put this in cons as your fingers do rest on them but they are firm enough not to be pressed accidentally * shiny lights* software works well (never not recognised on a Mac ... I’m looking at you Astros)Cons* Doesn’t turn on PS4. Not a problem for me but others may find an issue with that* The price for the controller may be too much for some (have a look at the raiju then ..nearly double !!!)* Software although works well can take 15 minutes to get your head aroundSo should you buy this? If you want a pro controller with paddles, lights and tweaking software, ABSOLUTELY, but just bear in mind it’s nearly 3x as much than a ds4.There are other pro controllers out there such as Scuff but I’ve had 3 of them and they’ve all broken in some way over the years so reluctant to try them again. The raiju is too much money and plagued with issues so the Nacon is a nice balance. VERY happy with my purchase.

What a controller this is. I noticed another reviewer said they were disappointed because you had to plug it into a PC and use software to map the additional buttons. This is incorrect, you can do it without by holding the profile button, there are videos on YouTube showing you how.I recently moved from Xbox to PS4 and my biggest problem was the controllers. Not only did I have an elite controller for the Xbox so I was used to the paddles on the back I also really liked the staggered analog sticks. The PS4 controllers don't have either unfortunately. This is basically just the elite but for PS4, it's well built, comfy to hold and can be adjusted in so many ways. I like the weights you can put in the controller,I have the heaviest ones in.My only critiscm with the controller, is you can't lock the triggers out so that there is less travel like the Xbox elite. You can, however change the sensitivity in the software on a PC so the triggers only have to just to say be touched and they work.My big gripe would be the PC software. It's not particularly user friendly and doesn't run very smooth. I think this has a lot of room for improvement.

I have had 4 dual shock 4 controllers since owning a PS4 and a PS4 pro and to be honest, with this controller the feel and the ergonomics of the controller are fantastic. The customisability is awesome and let’s you hone in your settings and set up to 4 game presets. Good if you’re wanting to use steady aim and then switch to a quicker fast paced run and gun set up with the click of a button without needing to take your thumbs off the joysticks.Build quality is great and with being able to swap weights and make it lighter or heavier it adds to a really nice feel which you can balance to your needs.LED RGB options are cool but I’m not really too fussy about that feature but it is sweet that you can choose a variety of colours in different light up modes from constant, cycled etc.The S buttons are a game changer. If you’re playing FPS games and you need to duck or switch out guns you don’t need to take your thumbs off the analogue sticks so you can keep aiming. This is miles better than the dated and plastic feel of the DS4. It’s nice that you can change the analogue sticks for more finer aiming.

Great controller, got it on a sale for £109 and was 100% worth it. I’ve however had to send it back purely because there’s no official word on whether it’s supported by the ps5.Whilst the battery life was an improvement over the DS4, it wasn’t enough for me to justify keeping it for my pc, I would often run out in under a days use, which I expected more for the price tag.The biggest gripe for me though was the fact that there was no way to use it in the PS4 without the dongle wirelessly (Sony needs to make its own pro controller to solve this, I don’t blame the product for this) so I really hope this problem is phased out on the next gen system. The was also no accurate way to see how much battery was left on the PS4,just a flashing light to indicate that the controller was low on battery.Other than that the controller was perfect for me, if my above peeves were solved then it would be an easy 5/5

Dont listen to people giving this 1*, its a superb controller and if you shop around can get it cheaper. The controller feels solid in the hand. The extra buttons albeit flush are never pressed accidentally and can be located easily. The software takes a few minutes to navigate but once you have it then its a cinch to change it to how you want it.The only issue I have is that it doesn't turn the PS4 on when turned on, but for me I dont need that feature.Ive never had lag and always responsive even in times of frenzy. The lights are a nice feature and make sure you read the manual as there are a few features you may miss such as holding the mute button shows you remaining battery.Muchcheaper than the alternatives and all you need to do is google reviews to see how this controller fares much better than other competitors.Dont regret buying this controller at all.

I notice the difference immediately when using this page, generally much better response on the sticks and triggers.Back buttons take a bit of getting used to but generally it's very comfortable to use, the customisable weights are great it feels like a proper pad with the mid weight in, heavier than a dual shock which is great I don't use the lighter ones.Customise through my laptop for PS4 and I can create different profiles for games and programmable buttons so I can switch my pad between my div2 profile and ghost recon profile, nice touch to customise the lights as well.My only gripe so far is that I cannot get my PS4 Microphone working with it,everyone says I sound miles away when I'm Speaking but I can change to the dual shock and have no issues...still haven't figured that out months later.

Initially I will confess, I got this because the original controller after hours of relentless play and being tossed with frustration at times, was not as responsive after 4 years of abuse “hangs head in shame :/“This had a lot to live up to!! And it does with an all singing, all dancing ease of effortless style and technology. It can be customised like Paris Hilton’s wardrobe for every fussy gamer type and even for different types of games and play styles. It’s wireless or wired depending on charge, with a huge connecting cable too.I love it and so far it’s worth the investment.. Price tag reminds me not to chuck it with frustration, thus far anyway!!
