An excellent tool for smaller jobs. If you need to cut a grove in a rounded screwhead, this is the tool to use (with the appropriate blade attached) I also used mine to cut plastic for an edging strip in a kitchen, which would otherwise have been much harder using a hacksaw blade.The uses are legion and you will wonder how you managed without one. Other tools of this nature would prove to be as useful as well I am sure. The 12V battery I use is 2amp and is very compact for this tool in use, though you can use any of the Milwaukee 12v batteries if you want to. The larger 3/4/6amp battery versions all stay upright easier than the 2amp battery due to their shape, but are harder to use in confined spaces of course.

I am a fan of Milwaukee and find there kit rugged and powerful.As a result I paid for what is a rather expensive rotary tool (compared to other makes) and two 2.0Ah batteries. I did not need any attachments or bits as I have loads that fit. But if you don't, then that's a further expanse to consider.When it arrived I was disappointed at the amount of vibration and on examination I found there was rather a lot of play in either the front bearings or the bearing mounting. I checked the tightness of the two casing screws at the front of the tool and ended up tightening them up several degrees. This appears to have improved the play/vibration issue.After a "shaky" start I hope this tool will prove to be as reliable and robust as my others of this brand.

As a commercial heating engineer this is rapidly becoming my favourite tool in my bag, small enough to fit in my backpack. Handy for cleaning rust and paint off pipework, cleaning flanges, removing olives. I'd never considered a rotary tool as something I'd need but now I have one I use it every day and every day I find a new way it makes my life easier. M12 battery's are awesome long lasting quick to charge but still pack a punch. Another win for milwaukee

I do a lot of work on listed buildings, I've needed a tool that can make the detailed work a lot easier and keep it accurate. I've not looked back since buying this rotary multi-tool. Powerful reliable and cordless. Money well spent.

This is an amazing tool ,you won't regret buying it ,compact and powerfulI personally think it's superior to Snap-onAnd 3 year warranty on the gun and 2 year on the battery

Read a lot of review about this tool prior to purchasing it. It is excellent as expected from a Milwaukee tool.

Unlike the Dremel, this won't overheat if you ask it to do some real work.
