So since Microsoft updated manufacture , you now have to purchase this headset , once upon a time it came free , and gaming has moved away from a single player to multiple , all over the world , so this device is basically a necessity , to coordinate and discuss where enemies are , or item drops , or just simply talk to friends in Xbox chat , it isn't the best , but for the money , it's great , just a shame you have to buy it now , and you don't get it with the console anymore

The headset worked first time, as it should. The sound quality is good enough for gaming & chatting to friends and is easily loud enough.The headset will only work with Xbox One controllers, that is the only reason the connectivity score is lower. The actual connection to the controller feels sturdy and does not come out on its own.I have worn the headset for up to 3 hours in one sitting and did not feel any discomfort. Looks-wise, it is sleek and clean enough.

The official headset for the Xbox wouldn’t get anything different as you never know. Got it to play online with my boyfriend and it’s amazing. Sound quality is just perfect you can adjust volume right in front of you as it clips into your Xbox controller. Definitely a great purchase I highly recommend this headset if you want one to play online with your friends! You can adjust the fitting of the headpiece so to make sure it’s the right fit for your head.

It might be obvious to most, but it really is only a game chat headset. No game sounds are played through it, so you need to have the tv volume high enough to hear over the game chat.This might be ok for some, but it is a slight annoyance for me as I bought it for my son who plays in our family space. However, the quality of sound for my son and his friends is excellent compared to similarly priced headsets.

Bought this for our daughter to replace a recently broken one. Where the headband meets the earphone is a weak point so be careful they aren't left where they can be stood on.Have had no complaints about sound quality and she chats away happily with her friends. Easy to connect to the pad. Argos had them at a decent price. For some reason these have been getting expensive, so that was appreciated.

I like this headset, it has good sound quality and the mic is pretty good - especially for the cheap price. I am buying a second one because my first one broke (not because gamer rage, because it is really old) and I am happy to be able to talk to friends with it. It would be better if it had 2 headphones instead of 1 and if you could hear the in game sounds too, instead of just the party chat.

Paid more for this than I would have wanted to but I wanted another of the original headset that came with my Xbox as I am not a fan of the bulkier and heavier headsets that seem to be standard for gaming, and couldn't find this product elsewhere. Only made minimal use of it so far but have seen many reviews about the product breaking after so long, hopefully I will have more luck with mine.

This is exactly the same headset as the one provided with the xbox console. The first one I purchased was faulty (I think someone may have swapped their old headset for a new one and returned the old one to Argos as the packaging was all ripped open). I returned the headset to Argos without any problems. I purchased a further headset from a different Argos store and that is working fine.

Not the most comfortable headset in the world, and the mic can't be adjusted as much as it could on the official Xbox 360 headset, but this does the job with decent sound quality and a lightweight build. Worth noting that this is compatible with all Xbox One controllers, whilst a lot of the similarly priced headsets only support the newer controllers with a 3.5mm socket built in.

This headset reasonably priced connects into controller. I have gone thru a few of these headsets over years. If u find it confusing choosing headset as i did as to connectors etc, plugs straight into pad simple no need to buy adapters. No long wire connection and the 1 Earphone very comfy compared to expensive headset. Click an collect local shop redeemed nectar points also.

If you're on a tight budget, don't be tempted to spend less on a third party basic headset or control pad, always buy official (unless buying a really nice one), you'll be glad you did. The headband is slightly flimsy but don't stand on it and it'll be fine. The sound quality is fine and you'll come across nice and clear to your friends on live, via the good mic.

The headphones are good and we have purchased these before, unfortunately numerous times as after a while/months of use they begin to play up and either the microphone doesn't work or the headphones play up. I think the build quality could be better but they do the job, you just have to bear in mind the more they are used the sooner they will possibly break.

I bought this for my seven year old grandson so he could play x box with a friend as he already has the console and one controller. He was delighted as he opened the boxes and though I bought them on an Argos deal at a bargain price his excitement at getting them was worth a fortune. I had priced them elsewhere and Argos was best value for money.

I bought this headset to replace an old one and I was shocked at how clear the sound is! It makes you feel as if your friends are in the room with you. My old headset grew to be quite uncomfortable but I have had no issue with this new one, it’s comfortable even in the later hours of gameplay. The design is simple yet effective, very easy to use.

I bought this headset for my wee boy for his Xbox One. Argos had various headsets to choose from but I didn't want to spend an absolute fortune so I choose this headset that wasn't too expensive but shows good value for money. Good quality and ticks all the boxes for what you would expect from a headset and most importantly the kid was happy.
