After a few years of using the older 800 model (which I broke when I accidentally knocked and bent the USB wireless receiver), I upgraded to this 900.Pros:- The range of the USB wireless receiver is improved, and I can now plug it into the back of my tower desktop PC (without the signal dropping like it did on the 800), giving smooth mouse tracking.- I use the mouse on a wooden desk without a mousepad, no problem- The keyboard is much improved; I find it very easy to type on the chiclet style keys (much better than the weird keys of the 800), and I do a lot of programming and a fair amount of writing in Word- I've spilt small amounts of coffee on the keyboard several times, and it still works perfectly (when it happens, I do take the precaution of taking out the batteries, upending the keyboard and resting it upside down on paper towels for 5-10 mins, then slotting the edges of paper towels between the affected keys to absorb any liquid still inside)- Music play/pause, mute and volume adjustment keys (but no next track or prev track keys unfortunately)Cons:- No caps lock light- No monitor brightness adjustment keys (although my monitor doesn't support OS controlled brightness adjustment anyway)- Mouse scrollwheel is a bit course, but you get what you pay for I guessAll in all, a very decent keyboard/mouse setup for the price.

Excellent product.Definitely a case of function over form but if you’re not overly concerned about the look of your mouse or keyboard then there’s not much wrong here. Not to say that this set is ugly, just plain. In terms of function though, both are great. The keyboard sits comfortably on your lap or desk and the keys have a nice response. The keys aren’t backlit unfortunately but for this price point it’s understandable. The mouse has a good weight to it and it fits the hand perfectly. It’s a shame that there aren’t any additional buttons on the side as the thumb and ring finger are ideally situated for this. Again, understandable that there’s only the standard 3 buttons for the price you pay.The only real issue I have with this set, which is common for wireless keyboard and mouse devices and by no means a big deal, is that the usb stick struggles to cope when it’s not got a direct line to the keyboard or mouse. I’ve found that this problem is particularly bad when an electronic device, such as a tv screen is in the way. Not a dealbreaker by any means, the same happens with pretty much all devices of this nature. Just a warning that you may want to invest in a usb extension cable if you use your tv as a monitor.

So I purchased this for £29.99 and I think it's really nice. The keyboard is silent and tactile which feels really nice for typing. I purchased this so I can type long essays and reports for my project. It has function button for mute, volume up and down and play/pause and it also has a calculator button which is handy. When I purchased mine, I received the UK keyboard layout which I prefer as well. The only downside to the keyboard is that no keys are back-lit which includes caps lock (On/Off) and NumLk key (Number Pad). I have also heard reviews that Enter and backspace keys are smaller than normal but I have gotten used to this quickly and was not issue for me.You also get a mouse with thisand the mouse is decent; it does not match Logitech Gaming series or MX series but for productive situations where I am typing a lot, it does not make a huge difference and it adequate enough. If you are wondering if the mouse clicks are loud, then yes, it is loud (something to bear in mind). You also get battery for both the keyboard and the mouse (non-rechargeable).Overall, I am really impressed with the keyboard, as I originally was going for Microsoft Surface keyboard but this is more than good enough for me :)

Bought this for home working and it does the job for extended working periods but there are a couple of details lacking which for me makes this middle of the road and not worth more than the 'discounted' price (£30 rrp £60) I bought it for.Firstly there are no indicator lights so you've no idea whether caps or num lock is on or off which has caught me out a few times especially when typing in passwords. Small thing but when you're already stressed with work and kids running around this adds to the frustration and it's a small detail like this that makes for better product.Second you can switch the mouse on and off but there is no switch for the keyboard so it remains on all of the time presumablyreducing the potential life of the batteries.Third and finally the bluetooth dongle that is larger than other alternatives I've seen meaning it is more likely to get snagged when moving the laptop about. So all these are relatively small issues and overall the keyboard and mouse are ergonomic and comfortable which is the main thing but the lack of these details mean it is only worth the discounted price imho.

Not used the keyboard very much so far but here is my early thoughts below. I don't usually spend this much on a keyboard and mouse but I'm glad I did as you can tell the difference in quality.+ Connected easily, first time both mouse and the keyboard+ Good quality with some nice additional details like the rubberized feet+ Mouse is very responsive+ Keys feel very comfortable under the fingers (I'm a keyboard snob)+ The enter key will take some getting used to as it is very small+ Keys are 'soft touch' and very quiet+ Not 'slimline' but thinner than some others I've owned in the past+ Looks very sleek and elegant as far as keyboards go+ Comes with Duracell batteries as opposed to cheap ones+Nice spacing between the keys and as a fast typer feels good when in use+ The keys are a little 'slippery' to the touch rather than textured for grip

What a great keyboard, I've been through a couple of keyboards recently whilst trying to find a balance between wirelessness, comfort, style and feel. This keyboard finally ticked all the boxes for me. The closeness of the keys may take a while to get used to but after a week that autopilot typing behaviour kicks in.The keys provide good resistance to the touch so you know you've hit a key properly but it also sounds smooth like a new laptop. The mouse feels like until you put batteries in and then is the perfect weight for gaming or general use. Up until this point I forgot it was even powered by batteries so battery life is also worth mentioning as really good. You can't beat the price either for what you get.A top brand known for reliability and quality.Would recommend this setup.

Simple but well made keyboard with a nice feel to the keys. Two things stop it getting 5 stars - One, the Enter key is very small, and takes some getting used to. Two, there is no on/off switch on the keyboard, so the batteries will drain faster than they otherwise would, unless you go to the trouble of removing them every time the keyboard is not in use!The last MS keyboard I owned had key characters that wore away relatively quickly. We'll see how this one holds up. This can be a problem if you have naturally greasy skin. The wireless mouse is big and chunky, a welcome change from the too small variety supplied with a lot of other wireless combos. Great if you have hands bigger than POTUS!:)

Had the keyboard for a few weeks now and have had no issues yet. typing is easy and comfortable (as long as you like flat keys)Its never dropped signal but i use it fairly close to the computer. I regularly use it for gaming aswell and havent had issues with missed keys or finger slips.Media function buttons were great and save me some hassle messing with my speaker volume. My Main issue is that the enter button is much smaller than im used toMouse is average size but slightly smaller than i'd like, fits perfectly fine in the hand. Would love if the mouse had one or 2 more buttons

I like this keyboard a great deal and it has improved my typing speed. One slight fault I have found is that I sometimes do not register the first character when typing numbers using the numerical keyboard. I feels as if the number keys are less sensitive than the rest of the keys but I may be wrong about that.It would be nice to have an on/off switch so that I could clean it without having to remove the batteries but that is a minor quibble.Overall it is the best keyboard I have found and if it broke I would buy another tomorrrow.

Fantastic wireless keyboard and mouse. The keys are super quiet - you can hardly hear them when typing, certainly when working in an office environment. They give a nice tactile feel when using them as well. The mouse glides across a desk surface really well without a mouse mat being used. The only downside on the keyboard, I'd note, is the fact it doesn't have any indicator light for Caps/Num/Scroll Lock, so could be a bit of a pain for some people, though I've managed just fine for 2 weeks without it.

nice keyboard and mouse, it's UK layout. The keys feel solid and we'll built. I expect it to last for years. Can't comment on the battery life yet as I only been using it for a week. The mouse has a turn off switch but the keyboard doesn't for those who might be wondering. The mouse also feels bit bigger then other mouses I've used but not so big that's not comfortable to use. the keyboard and mouse works in Windows 10 without any issues or additional software to install.

I like my keyboards to have a standard layout, without keys being ruined to save space. This keyboard doesn't do anything silly with the keys I use as a programmer, but manages a pretty compact size. There are some compromises; the enter key is a touch smaller than I'd like and there is no space around the set of keys you find between the keyboard and number pad. Despite this, I can use it productively and without hand strain. The wireless was also super easy to set up.

Needed a new key board as my old one had keys starting to stick. I didn't want a big expensive set but it had to be wireless to reduce wires with my desktop. One of the features of this keyboard is that it has quiet keys. And I can say it does. The keys are flater than normal and a softer plastic than the hard ones hence no clackety clack when typing. It has taken me a few days to get used to it, but very pleased with purchase and price

Love the keys, they are very quiet. The mouse is full-sized and I prefer it to any other mouse I've used. In terms of customisability of keys, I'm not a massive fan - I feel that they should allow programming of the "Function" keys at the top (Or at least give music skip/previous track buttons). I've had no connection issues though, and I really do like the set, So 5 stars it is.

Smart, sleek keyboard. Keys are soft and almost silent, not something that I believe everybody will appreciate, but was exactly what I was after; my old keyboard constantly woke my daughter up, this one doesn't.The mouse is alright, but not as good as the mouse I already use so I've stuck with the old one.I've tried a number of keyboards and this has come out on top for me.
